The Whiskiest!
Unlike some of the previous, uneducated reviewers, I knew prior to ordering this item that it was not used for making Whiskey. I knew that it was for beating things, such as eggs, whipped cream, and unruly children. (The latter is an optional use - I would use the 11-inch whisk, also available from amazon, or a heavy iron spoon). In short, this tool does its job with aplomb. I enjoy whisking all manner of items, and find myself using this item when it really isn't necessary at all. Just this morning I whisked myself a milk and organge juice smoothie, and followed that up by vigorously whisking my bowl of Rasin Bran. Sure, flakes and milk ended up all over the place, but each cereal shard was coated with nice frothy milk. I have even used this whisk to create my own flavors of toothpaste, mixing the best of several of my favorite brands into one bowl and wisking it into a greenish-brown blob of tooth-whitening goodness. Overall, this whisk is superb at doing what it was meant to do, and then some. I think I may use it tonight to whisk together a bowl of chiken soup puree! YUM!

Terrific whisk for small jobs
When I ordered this whisk I was slightly unsure about its usefulness, but I did know my smallest existing whisk was too large to get into the corners of small sauce pans (with straight sides) and too clumsy for whisking a couple of eggs in a small bowl.
Whisk away...
This 9" whisk is well made ..with a very nice handle. Note..it is not a big one. For the bigger jobs....get their 11" whisk....which I will get soon.

Nice variety of sizes, but dent easily
These whisks are great in that there are so many sizes, you can always find the right one.And my three-year-old loves using the tiny one to help cook.

These are very nice whisks, all things considered, and the other reviews for the most part tell you why.I thought I was getting a set to cover most of my needs; however, I found all of them about an inch or two too small.The largest isn't really balloon-y enough to do an efficient job at a big batch of egg whites, for example, tiring your arm out faster than a larger one would.The middle size is pretty good for omelets and bechamels, but the small one is a lilliputian thing, only fit for a pygmy.Its handle is really too short to be useful even for vinaigrettes.If they had only inflated their sizes a bit, this set would have been fit for every need, and near perfect.

Best whisk ever!!!
This whisk is AWESOME! It does the job AND washing is a breeze because it's not joined at the end, which is good in another way because it doesn't bend, get tangled or get misshapen like most whisks do. It's made very well. If I needed another whisk I'd buy this one...however I dont think I'll need another one because I think this one will probably last forever. All the whisk, All the time.

One Problem...
I love this whisk; it does the job so well, it's actually easy to over scramble eggs with this thing.(My advice: let the brilliant design do the work!)
My first whisk purchase!
I also just got a flat whisk for pan gravies but this is the whisk I will be using for everything else.I chose this style because it's beautiful to look at and goo doesn't get caught in the hammock of the ball whisks but mainly I bought it because another reviewer said that this was the mod version of old-time Asian broom whisks.It works and I had already thrown out my hand me down ball whisk because of rust.

Where has this been all my life???
I LOVE this whisk.I've only had mine a week and I've used it several times already.Before making this purchase I used a plastic whisk.It was gentle on my le creuset and nonstick cookware, but it was so thick that it didn't do an effective job.This whisk is just like a metal one, but safer.I think it's well worth the price.

A really beautiful wisk
I too bought this wisk since I had read in a review that it was all silicone. But I have been really happy with the quality and also the design.The shape of the handel makes it a dream to use.Also I was tired of scratching my Le Creuset pans so it has been a god send.

nice whisk,but wrapped
I have some nice nonstick cookware that I needed whisks for, so I got these. My main reasons for choosing them were the brand, and the fact that someone in a review for another product said that these were all silicone, rather than silicone coated steel. Unfortunately that is NOT the case. This is silicone coating metal. This is acceptable though, because the 5-year guarantee will cover the whisk should the silicone decide to peel off, and 5 years of cookware-safe whisking for this price is worth it to me! The whisk is wonderful, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Just don't believe the reviews telling people to get this for the reason stated above. ... Read more

In this new design for classic whisks, the individual beaded wires make short work of both mixing and washing. Eleven long wires surround one shorter one, and with the independent movement and extra weight provided by the end bead, air is incorporated much more thoroughly into whisked food. For example, a crème brûlée was blended in seconds, and French toast batter was nearly as fast. Washing is simpler, too. There are no little crevices for thickened liquid to get caught in, and it's dishwasher-safe. Great kitchen tool
We got to break in our ball whisk while making raspberry jam.It handled the thick consistancy of the jam and did a great job mixing in the sugar and clear-jel so that there weren't any clumps.Also, it left most of the jam behind when we pulled it out.It is a great kitchen tool and we look forward to using it again.

One of the best things in my kitchen!
This is the first review I've written, but the one bad review is so absurd, I had to put in my 2 cents.I was just here to order a couple more of these - again, for gifts - again.I have two sizes of these myself, and everyone I have given them to thinks they're great too.I used one to mix up powdered-sugar-and-milk icing, I hadn't made it for years and remembered having to stir and stir and stir to get smooth.Just a few quick stirs with this whisk and it was done.It is great and cleans up SO much easier than a regular whisk.And about fitting in a drawer - look at the picture, how could it possibly be any harder to fit in a drawer than any other whisk?

As a Chef, I love it.....

VERY SMALL IN SIZE
Although solidly made, this is a VERY SMALL whisk.Nine inches sounds big, but this will only suffice for whisking 2-3 eggs, or for those occasions when you don't want a full sized whisk.I was disappointed in it when it arrived.It's not what you want if you think it's a regular sized whisk.

This is a mid-size whisk, not a full-size one. If you understand that you'll be happy with it. It is a simple item, does what it is supposed to, and looks great doing it.

The little dog that acts like a big dog
Well, maybe whipping 5 egg whites at once would be too big a job but this little whisk will do nearly anything. It's fun to use and comes out of my drawer to beat eggs, salad dressings, and it really puffs up cream for whipped cream.
