worth the price
Even though this trash can is pricey, it is well worth it. The inside is quite spacious for a 10 gallon can and it has a great looking exterior. The slow closing lid is a real noise stopper.

i read reviews before i bought this brand and i am happy to say that i am very satisfied with this product.it's very well made and functions well.i recommend paying a little more for this can then spending less on a can that looks like this one but will break.

awesome - love it
I know - it's ridiculous to use the word love when discussing a trash can but after suffering for so long with a cheapie one that was almost impossible to empty and filled up every two minutes I am very happy with this one.It is much easier to empty and looks great - nice smooth open and close too (no banging lid).Yeah, I consider this pricy for a trash receptacle but really it's the one thing in your house that you use EVERYDAY and this should last for years. Worth the price
I had a $50 coupon, so the cost was not as great, but after receiving the trash can, I would have paid full price for it.It looks nice.The lid works great.The band around the top and the bag holder are a tremendous asset.The white color is much better than the stainless ones that leave fingerprints.This was a very good choice.

Expensive but works well
I like the hands-free design.The linkage between the foot pedal and the lid seems a little loose (and a bit flimsy) but works ok so far.The trash can has a thin metal exterior with a plastic inner liner that you can pull out to dump the trash.We use tall kitchen trash bags with tie ends and it's a little awkward getting them installed so the tie ends don't hang outside the can.Might try the bags with draw strings and see if that helps.Item arrived in excellent condition.For the price, I expect this trash can to last AT LEAST ten years.Anything less than that and I won't be sending hugs & kisses to OXO. ... I can't believe I'm raving about a trash can!!!
I first fell in love with this at a friend's house.I couldn't believe how easily it opened!My toe had just barely touched the foot pedal. WOW. I didn't have to turn my foot to the side to get enough pressure to push on the pedal.

My trashcan broke after only a few months!!
We bought this trash can, which seems to have a very sturdy design and appears to be well made about 3 months ago.We noticed after only a short while that the "step-on lid opener" would not open the can as far as it had before.After a couple of days the plastic peice on the bottom broke. This can was used mainly by my husband and myself and was not put through any rough handling.I have yet to find a replacement part and I did not save my receipt or any purchase information...because it is a TRASHCAN that is supposed to be the best that money can buy.The metal does not stain or pit, it is very solid albeit the opening mechanisim.If I find replacement parts, I will write another review with that information. ... Little Hassle
Purchased an RV Series trash can from Home Depot and then purchased the door mounting kit separately.Hardware that came with door mounting kit did not work with the RV Series trash can...had to Gorilla Glue the door mount to the sliding track...a hassle, but it worked out in the end and I really like the ease of the sliding trash can.

Cool Cans!
Received both of the cans.The little one is great for the hallway and the big one is just very well designed!After having these for less than a year the little black plastic piece that flips the lid up is broken.

Fabulous - definitely worth the money!
I looked all over to find a stainless-steel, step to open the lid, trash can.The price on this one is unbeatable!The large can is skinny, but still perfect for a kitchen.It was about half the price of other large cans I was finding, but came with the bonus can inside, making this an unbelievable bargain.The smaller can is perfect for an office, bedroom, or bathroom.If you're unsure about this purchase, believe me... you won't regret it!

Good, small garbage can
This is a small garbage can that has a removable liner.It also fits the plastic bags you get at all the stores now, but it is small.It came well packaged and quickly.Cooking.com is a good website and excellent company.I've gotten a few things from them and never have a problem.

Awesome Trash Can!!
This is by far the best trash can we've ever had. We had spent nearly $100 on a stainless steel trash can from Sam's before, but everytime you put something into it the lid always got some kind of gunk on it. This trash can is perfect & well worth the price! We haven't had any problems with the trash bag holder ring, and the automatic lid makes things so much easier. Now trips to the trash can don't result in a dirty mess! Our only request would be that this trash can could be a little bigger. The next largest size is WAY to big for a small kitchen. This can is the standard size though. I would recommend this to anyone else who is sick of having to clean a trash can lid!

Never go back to a dirty lid
Best invention ever, I love it I will never have another trash can. I was so tired of touching gross, trash can lid and constantly cleaning it. I love it and I am giving them as gifts now.

Best trash can Ive ever had
I love this trash can. It works perfectly. All you have to do when it arrives is pull it out of the box, put the batteries in, put a trash bag in and yoy are ready to go. There is a ring inside the trash can that holds your liner in place. Just simply wave your hand over the front and the lid comes open and closes by itself. Counter Top Blomus Wastebasket
Nice solid counter top wastebasket. Lid. however, does not always stay on when putting waste in the can and its very hard to hold the lid on and out trash in at the same time.

Counter Top Trash Can Looks Great
I got this trash can to put on the counter next to my coffee maker for discarded Sweet & Low packages. I love how it fits in with my black and stainless appliances. The item itself works pretty good for the most part. The only issue I have found with it is the lid fits loosely on the base and slides off when putting something in it. to remedy the issue, I am planning to drill a tiny hole in the sides and out a tiny hand screw on each side of the lid to hold it firmly in place.

Not up to the standard of the books
Its an okay yaoi manga, but the books are so much better. Its really a shame that they have shortend the story down to only 60 min. and cencured many of the good moments from the book.
Yaoi anime at it's finest
A lot of blatantly yaoi animes are...well, cheesy and bad. But the FAKE OVAS I think, is the best yaoi anime I've ever seen. First off, I have to say the movie itself is actually story driven instead of, well, sex driven, and that gives it an overall improvement over a lot of yaoi anime as is. Also, I want to make a quick note about Bang Zoom Entertainment's great work on the dub version of this. I usually don't like watching dubs, but a curious part of me always watches them when I buy the DVD anyway. And I have to say, after seeing lots and lots and LOTS of bad dubs, this one was pretty good. So definitely buy this DVD (And the manga series!) and support these under represented genres of anime!

Doesn't Live Up to the Manga =(
The manga was a much more vivid portrayal of emotion; everything was just so bland and while it was comedial at the same time it was just so boring. With only an hour to introduce everything while in reality and in flashbacks, it leaves the watchers in suspense - what happened before they actually came to England for the vacation? What happened after Lieutenant Berkeley Rose was made Commish of the 27th NY precint? It just doesn't live up to the manga. But... if you're up for a laugh, give this one a shot! ... Read more
