Poor Design
If you don't put the top on exactly the right way, you will spend your morning cleaning coffee off your counter top. After the last overrflow, it stopped working completely. The electronics must have gotten wet from the overflow. I paid $100 for this maker and it only lasted four months. Poor Poor Design

Mega Floods
As with everyone else, I too have had the periodic disaster with coffee overflowing from the poorly designed coffee basket/lid. To make matters worse, when this happens, you MUST thorughly clean the grounds out of the CAP...as the cap becomes clogged with grounds when it overflows. If you don't clean it out, it just happens again and again! Makes great coffee, but CAREFULLY get the basket and coffee pot aligned so you don't have a disaster on hand.

Good value
I bought this to keep coffee at my desk. It works great. It keeps hot coffee hot, and it does not leak. This version has the Capresso brand name on it, which appears to cause at least one person to submit multiple nasty reviews of it. If you search for the Nissan Travel Companion, you will see that it is the same unit. There it gets excellent reviews and five stars. I am not mad at the Capresso company, so I will give the unit five stars right here.

Don't buy it, product is defective
Amazon should read some of these reviews and take this product off the market.It is as defective as stated in other reviews.It looks good and works for a hot New York second, but don't get too confortable, because sooner or later this thing will fail you.I should have returned it as soon as possible but put it off and let the time expire.Now I am stuck with it!

DON'T BUY THIS
It looks nice, but the quality is terrible. The "button" mechanism worked for hours, then a metal spring holded by a PLASTIC washer disasembled, maybe the heat deformed the 1 cent plastic washer thus making the thermo useless. Dont buy this thing. ... Read more
