Strikingly attractive and contemporary, this thermal carafe is clad in translucent plastic, with a green marble knob on its stopper. The carafe is for tabletop use only (not for travel). Insulated with a glass vacuum liner, it keeps 17 ounces of hot drinks hot or cold drinks cold and does so stylishly. For a firm grip, there are finger-sized grooves on either side . Cleanup requires nothing more than a rinse inside with warm water and a swipe outside with a damp cloth. The carafe stands 11-1/4 inches high and is tapered toward the top in a manner that classical architects would admire. Cool Carafe for cool beverages!
This carafe is great for summertime, when you want something really cold to drink.I also use mine daily for iced coffee!I really like that it has its own look and is different from all the other carafes out there right now.

For the price this carafe is fantastic.It looks great on my table when I have a luncheon.The soft color adds a character to the setting.

Ridiculous product
At $... on Amazon sale I ordered this product hastily--thinking I knew what a thermos was--without reading details. To my regret.A thermos that isn't good for travel?And isn't good for dairy, for juice, or for carbonated beverages?To me, this is as close to useless as a product can get.
