Nice Size, But "Light" Weight...
I have a number of pieces of Llorente Silicon bakeware and love it.I'd been wanting some square pans, but hadn't seen them offered by Llorente.I saw these on Amazon's site and decided to give them a try.There wasn't any size listed (these are 9" X 9") but I was willing to use either of the standard square pan sizes and took a chance.If these work as well as Llorente, they'll be useful for my purposes (making yeast rolls).However, these are significantly lighter and more "flimsy" than Llorente, so I'd hesitate to use them for batters or items that need to set up. (Hence, my 3 rating.) I think the weight would force the sides outward and might cause some misshapen results.If there were a frame or rack available for these, that might provide a solution.Alternatively, you could probably use these as liners in your metal pans.That would save on clean-ups and would provide the flexibility which makes silicon bakeware so nice. ...
