Label color comes off!!! Reconsider...
It's nice to have so many options and not only the standard ones. The labels come off very easily. I am not sure it's such a good idea in the end.

Not so great
I'm a fan of many Oxo products, but I have not been happy with these spoons. My main complaint is that the hanger-like device that holds the spoons together is badly designed and annoying.It's hard to maneuver between spoons, so you wind up just taking them off and leaving the spoons loose.I'd rather have spoons that stack well and that are held together by an enclosed ring.My second complaint is that the round shape doesn't fit in narrow bottles.I'm going to purchase the Cuisipro instead.On a positive note, the Oxo set of 3 plastic bowls are absolutely fantastic.I use them every day and am buying a set for my sister too.They are lightweight, the grips are great, and they clean up like new.

I really like these measuring spoons.The ergonomic grips are really nice and I appreciate them much more than I thought I would, especially when pouring into the spoon from a large jug, etc.

most inclusive in sizes and best price
The plastic had me a bit worried but I really disliked the size variations of the metal ones that pushed one to consider also buying the "odd" size set.Now I'm reading to go and I don't feel guilty about having thirty or forty dollars spent and taking up space in my cupboards. I use them constantly.I would prefer metal ones since I put these in the dishwasher but in order to get the equivalent sizes, I would be spending a fortune.

Functional and frugal!
Several of my European friends (who use the metric system) needed cost-effective kitchen tools to measure ingredients for American and UK recipes and asked me to find them a solution. Since this set offered both cups and spoons for less than other items offering only one or the other, and they wouldn't be using them every day, I figured this was the answer.

I bought this set of measuring spoons and cupsbecause it was the cheapest.I mean, who needs $20 measuring spoons?But I have found that I really like the overall design of these cups and spoons better than many of the more pricey ones available.The are comfortable to use, and good quality.

Excellent Product, many uses, great multi-tasker!!
I have had this tool for a few years now and it continues to work just fine.
Pretty good
It worked great through the first couple of batches of cookies. After that, it started losing it's lubrication. It got squeaky and a little more difficult to use. I thought it was just the one I had, but I had ordered two. I tried out the other one and it had the same problem. Other than that, it's a pretty good tool. It did make nice looking cookies and meatballs.

They work - what more do you want?
We added these to the cooking draw since it seemed like the one set we had was in the dishwasher whenever we wanted it.As a second set, we like the idea of the "odd" sizes.We have found it is a nice complement to our standard set and that having two sets in general reduces hassle.Quality is nice, but it is a set of measuring spoons, not a fine car (so I don't get to hung up on that).

I find the odd sizes are very useful - why use two spoons when one will do the job? Beautifully made, heavy steel.

These have nice highly-polished scoops that clean easily. The symmetric oval shape is the best (from experience). The shape easily fits into spice jars, etc. The shape also allows you to eyeball say 2/3 of a scoop if you need to without dirtying up another spoon. Read more

Great cookie scoop!
This is a perfect cookie scoop.I like to make slightly larger cookies, and this scoop gets the cookie dough out perfectly every time.Because the cookies are larger, it is a good idea to flatten each blob of dough slightly before baking. (as I did when I worked in a bakery)I have not used this scoop for anything else, because I only bought it for cookies.It does not look like it would work that great for ice cream, but I don't know.I love making cookies with it!!!

Not good for ice cream
I notice this item is not billed as an ice cream scoop. Odd since it is the classic ice cream scoop design. It's probably fine for cookie dough or even sherbet that is softer than ice cream, but for ice cream it is not sturdy enough. Keeps breaking
I find that if you have hard ice cream to scoop the more this ice cream scooper breaks.Squeezing this hard sometimes pushes it out of it's gears and it is a pain to get it back on line.Read more

Very nice
This is a very nice set of small measuring spoons-- excellent for measuring baking soda, salt, etc for recipes. They are very sturdy and much better than the inexpensive plastic products you find at the discount stores. This set also comes with 2 things not shown, a nice ring to loop these together, as well as a matching S hook to hang them up when not in use. I really like this set and would recommend this to everyone!

Perfect Set of Spoons
I LOVE KitchenAid Cook's Tools and Gadgets. I especially love these spoons and the cups that they make that match them. It stead of being flat on the bottom they are rounded. This makes it easier to get all your ingredients out of the measuring spoon or cup and into your recipe. Spoons are too wide
I liked the look of these measuring spoons, but I've hardly used them.The spoons are so wide, even the smallest measure cannot fit into any of my spice jars.Definitely impractible.

Quality design
There are three things that set these spoons apart from the competition.The most important is the handle design.The curved handle acts as a support so that the spoons rest level on their own.If you have ever measured out a liquid ingredient before you needed it, then you know the issue with trying to put the spoon on the countertop; the spoon tips to one side and the liquid spills.I usually end up trying to wrinkle a piece of paper towel for just the right height to support the handle, and then hope I don't accidentally bump it.In the KitchenAid spoon's design, the curved handle is an elegant solution to this problem, and I think it really represents their "for the way it's made" slogan.The second bonus to the design is the smooth connection between the handle and the cup.This is great for leveling powdered ingredients.In competing designs I've used, the powder gets stuck in the nooks and crannies, and it's a nuisance to remove.With ingredients like garlic powder, small measurement errors make a big difference.The last nicety in this set is the grouping ring.I've used designs where you can only remove the spoons from one side, and it's annoying to remove all the spoons just to get to the last one!KitchenAid has a simple cut in the ring to remove spoons, which allows you to remove them in either direction, as well as getting to the spoons in the middle of the stack.Also, the ring is oval shaped so that if you hang the spoons, they won't accidentally slip through the ring's opening.For something as simple as measuring spoons, this set is a great piece of work. ... A must have
As long as it measures correctly, why pay more for a set of measuring spoons? Now that I have them, I don't know how I got along without them in the past. They are really easy to clean - which is sooo important when you have a complex recipe calling for a lot of ingredients!
