Great Quality
For a kitchen gadget that you normally categorize as a "can do without" item, I have found this a very useful kitchen tool. I had used the mesh type before and found they didn't last and were a pain to clean. This is a quality item. It is easy to clean and does it's job very well.

Best of it's kind I've seen
I've seen cheaper versions at Target and honestly, I haven't tried them, but this one is SO nice and SO sturdy that I trust it completely. It cleans easy and I can already tell will last a long time.

I wish I had had this with me when I started cooking.It would have saved me a lot of criticism about technique.This worked beautifully when I was frying up burgers.In the moment it took me to grab it, I had a nice array of oil dots around the pan.

This is one of the little items that makes a big difference. I am not a gadget person. I like a lean, clean kitchen. This splatter screen helps with the clean! I can't believe how well it works and how well it fits on any size pan. Get one...you'll love it!

When I remember to use it, this splatter screen makes light work of cleaning off the stove. It is great. The screen is very fine and the larger size one covers our Farberware skillet perfectly. You can also use it on smaller things. It lets the air out and keeps the grease in. It washes quickly and easily. The grease doesn't cling to it at all.

Must have for your microwave.
I don't know what I would do if I didn't use thses.My microwave always stays clean and all you need to do it hook it on the side of your microwave or fridge with a magnet hook.When you are done using it, just rinse it real quick and hang it back up to dry. Simple and effective.

Convenient idea!
Simple idea. Replaces limp, wet pieces of waxed paper or plastic wrap. Protects the inside of the microwave from splatters and traps steam for easy cooking.
I love these
These are excellent!Instead of reaching for a paper towel, I grab one of these (choosing a size that completely covers the top of the item I am microwaving), and then wash it when finished.I did notice that the smooth side should be on top to prevent it from curling up when it gets hot.I really like the fact that you can see through it since I couldn't see through paper towels.

Inelegant design
I purchased this through Amazon but returned it.I intended to use this with their 3qt 10-inch saute pan. But it is huge! It is not an elegant design for this size pan. All Clad should have designed a screen that matches this pan instead of a one-size-fits-all from 8 inches to 13 inches.Furthermore, the unique handle that curves over the screen takes more storage room.My wife didn't like it.Back to the drawing boards All-Clad.

Worth every cent!
If you're an All Clad chef, you know the quality.Accept no substitute for a splatter screen. I was tired of wiping up grease splatters all over my stovetop, around the dials, on the floor, etc... The cheap flat screens just don't stay on the pan. The edges of the All Clad Screen make it foolproof for staying in place.The handle design saves space in storage.One size fits everything up to 13 inches. The screen is a high quality design, not a window screen that gets punctured sooner or later. I can tell that this screen will never bend out of shape either. Yes, it was more expensive than the cheap flat ones, but you'll appreciate the performance and durability advantages!

$2.99 at Target or this??????
Let's face it.All-Clad is expensive.It may last for 100 years but I would rather buy a set of 3 (different diameter) splash guards at Target for 'cheap'.

Love it.....Keeps most of the grease away from the stove top
I just got this splatter shield last week and have used it everyday so far.It works great to keep the grease away from the stovetop.Like the previous review, the big "Pops" escape, so you may want to use the splatter screen too.Previously, when I used a screen, the food loses it crispyness...I mean that's why you would stirfry and fry for.This splatter shield allows the condensation to escape and you can keep a closer eye on your food and turn and stir as needed without moving the shield.Great invention...now I need a bigger on for my wok!!!

Works great!
We're glad we didn't see the 1-star review, because we wouldn't have bought this, but we did buy one and it works great. It keeps most of the splatter -- including from bacon -- in the pan, keeping the oven probably at least 90% cleaner than usual, and it works better than a splatter screen. (Only the really big pops under high heat sent any grease out of the pan.) We're very happy with this device.
