Great little scale
We have used this scale for several years--It's been great for weighing mail for postage, for weighing clay in the studio, and for weighing food. I broke my first one, either by putting something way too heavy on it, or when it dropped off the counter. But I have loved it so much, I am reordering the same scale again.

I bought this as a replacement for a non-digital scale and I just love it. It is convenient, accurate, easy to use, and doesn't take up alot of room.

A Fragle Device!
Digital kitchen scales are kind of like microwave ovens - once you experience them, you'll never be without one.And when this particular one is working, it's a wonderful thing.But I found it to be rather touchy.You must be very careful not to bang it around on your counter while using it - mine eventually went belly-up due to a drop of 8"!God forbid you should drop it on the floor.

Fabulous For Flat Glass Burners
This canner works with flat burners.The bottom of the canner has a flat raised inner section that fits over the largest burner of my flat glass cooktop perfectly.Then the overhanging sides of the canner are raised about 1/2 inch, so it won't ruin your glass cooktop.It's a wonderful canner with various safety features built in.READ THE MANUAL and you will feel very confident using it.It does a wonderful job.I didn't have any problems keeping the pressure to the correct level.

can't handle super hot temps but it can't rust
My hand me down metal funnel has rust along the seam where the blacksmith smelted the metal sheet together to form the cone.

Was very impressed with the funnels-when put in container to pour liquid you don't need to worry about it tipping and you can use both hands for whatever you are pouring instead of having to worry about holding the funnel in place.

Great little tool
I just got the Aerolatte this morning and am blown away with it.Everyone should have one for mixing, and foaming milk.this helped produce the perfect cup of coffee in the kitchen, I ordered a French Coffee Press with it.Boiled the water, grinded the beans medium grind then steeped the beans and water for 4 mins.Poured it in the cup then used the aerolatte to foam the milk.Poured it in and created a cup of coffee that was so smooth it would go with any meal.the milk added such an extra creamy dynamic to my morning cup.I thoroughly enjoy this little device, it has power to spare! Be sure to put it back in the case after using it.

Complete and utter disappointment.
I was overcharged a considerable amount of shipping costs due to misrepresentation of the product weight (according to the shipping company AND other websites it weighs 10.3 lbs yet I was charged shipping costs for 22.5 lbs!) Both this site and the supplier's site continue to list the weight as 22.5 lbs. Since both companies are aware of the "discrepancy" it is intentional misrepresentation and I believe many customers are due a considerable refund. As if that weren't enough, I didn't notice at the time I opened the box that the pot had substantial damage to the rim yet the lid didn't, so it appears it was packaged after the damage occurred. I had to hammer-out the dented rim and re-paint all of the resulting chipped-off coating. (After all the aggravation I just couldn't bring myself to send it back and have to communicate with the supplier again)! This must be the worst online purchase I have ever experienced! If the weight represented is not corrected on both websites I will report it the Better Business Bureau.

Excellent Buy...especially from Uncle Joe's!

Very useful.
This is a review of the Large Cookie Scoop. Works great for perfectly proportioning cookie dough, as well as for evenly filling sectioned baking pans with other batter such as cupcakes and muffins. Much easier to use, with less mess to clean up than home improvised tools for the same jobs, such as a tablespoon or serving spoon. Continues to survive the sanitize cycle of the dishwasher just fine and comes out looking brand new each time.

Not just a pretty gadget

More than you expect
I bought this item in a store in Austin two years ago. I was regretting the purchase the moment I paid (I thought that $20 was too much for a milk frother, because all those cappuccino and espresso machines include a frother, but it never works as you expected, so, why this little thing was going to work better than those machines?). But then I tried it. I made a mess the first times but I loved it. Some weeks later, I went to a store to buy an old fashioned-Spanish style coffee maker. A perfect combination for my Aerolatte! Broken again
This product does the job it is designed for when it works.Unfortunately it just does not last very long.I've had three because I have an expensive, built-in older microwave that doesn't have a rotator so I really need this type of product.I wish there was an alternative.

My first Micro-go-round lasted years, worked fine and enticed me to buy a second one.Wow, it lasted all of 6 months.It was not even worked hard.What happened that something so simple would break so soon.I thought of taking it apart, but better yet I'll just order a second one for the next 6 months.Any bets as to whether it will last that long?

Couldn't live without it!
This scale is a foodies dream.We owned the same one in England but lost it on the move home.So we bought another!It takes up little space and can be stood up on its side because it is square--for storage.The ease of transition between grams and lbs / oz is really 1 touch of a button.I like the ability to zero out with an empty bowl from your kitchen on it and then measure flour, etc usng the same bowl.The batteries last quite a while.If you're in the market for a kitchen scale...look no further.

Broken in less than 1 year
My Salter 1001 scale started having problems within 3 months and broke within 10 months.I am sending the scale back to Saltier for replacement.A good scale while it worked, but what pain this has become.

Good kitchen scale, not for precision weighing
Bought the Salter 1004 Digital Kitchen Scale a few months back and have used it to weigh everything from food to a pine wood derby car.While it's not accurate beyond one quarter of an ounce, it is accurate enough for weighing sliced carrots for a stir fry. So if you are looking for a scale to weigh gold dust, look at another model.

The Salter 1004 11-Pound Square Stainless-Steel Digital Kitchen Scale is one of those appliances that you are delighted to leave out on the counter. The scale has a small footprint, stylish design and cool stainless steel construction. Functionally it is simple to use with a push of a button (or two if you want to switch between grams and ounces) with a clearly visable LCD display. Almost Perfect
This deveiner works better than more expensive ones that I have purchased. The handle is very comfortable, however the plastic teeth do tear the shrimp a bit if not very careful. If the teeth were made of very razor sharp metal, it would be perfect.

Great tool for a messy job!
I love OXO things anyhow. But this one proves WHY. The fat rubbery handle is easy to hold, doesn't slip. The curve and serrations are designed just right. I had to clean several pounds of shrimp. The thought of doing it buy just my fingers was depressing. I checked AMAZON.com for "shrimp deveiners" and this (among other) tool showed up. Boy, a worthy tool at a very reasonable price!

Best scoop
This scoop works extremely well on ice-cream, sorbet, gelato, you name it.I'm able to scoop as soon as I pull the ice-cream out of the freezer.Previously, I would have to set the ice-cream on the counter to defrost a bit.However, with the Zeroll, the heat from your hand immediately transfers to the scooper and cuts into the ice-cream.Remember not to put the Zeroll in the dishwasher!

It really works!
I try to make my own ice cream as often as possible - generally it's softer and creamier. But with the effort it takes, it doesn't happen to often so Baskin Robbin's it is. And anyone who knows Baskin Robbin's knows that their ice cream can be so packed it's hard to scoop. I bought this scoop and kept my fingers crossed the whole time. I'm happy to say that it works! AWESOME!
If I could give it 10 stars I would. I have NEVER tasted better meat,chicken, or fish. 20 mins in the tumbler with ANY marinade and the food is 200% infused with the flavor of your marinade. The clean up is SUPER easy. Throw the tumbler in the dishwasher and take 1 minute to wash the top. No need to remove the rubber seal from the top, as that will decrease the longevity. The seal doesn't let anything get in that will contaminate it anyways. This is absolutely the indespensible kitchen item for non-vegetarians :-) As a test I put in thawed thick cut bacon in it with some maple syrup and pepper and it was so good I made another pound immediatly afterwards. Works excellent on venison. No gamey taste and as I said earlier,,it totally infuses the meat with flavor. Additionally you don't have to baste your meat in between flips on the grill or whatever technique you use. Buy this product NOW! I know it sounds like a review written by an employee of the company, but I assure you I'm an Air Force man with a wife and two kids. We use this machine at least 4 nights a week.

pure garbage - refurbished
I didn't even bother completely unpacking the thing. Old worn unsealed box, all the plastic surfaces looked as is scrubbed with 'Comet cleanser', sheen of grease residue on plastic too. The bag that the instructions were enclosed in had been through the mill too. I've been a long time Amazon customer and this is the first time I've seen this type of garbage. Therefore I put it on the manufacturer and not Amazon. If I buy a used, refurbished item I don't expect to pay full price.

Best ice cream 'scoop' ever
Like other reviews say, this is the best ice cream scoop ever (well, "spade").I've had mine for 2 years now.No matter how cold or hard the icecream/yogurt is, the spade cuts right through.I considered getting the type that has anti-freeze type liquid which supposedly helps.I'm so glad that I got this Kitchen Aid spade - it works far better than any other scoop that I've tried.The handle is perfect as well, and the whole thing is well-balanced.
