A Great Value
This pretty, roomy and well made casserole is about 1/2 the price of Le Crueset and is a really great value. I love mine. I also serve hearty fall and winter soups in it and it can go in the oven, etc., like all cast iron. It's heavy too, but that's a price you payfor having the best cookware in the universe (enameled cast iron). It has all the great properties of cast iron without the drawbacks (does't rust, is non-reactive, etc) Anyway, this is exactly as good as Le Crueset but at 1/2 the price! ... Read more

More Than One Way to Fry a Donut
I'm a proud celiac chick from Finland, but I'm also a lover of homemade donuts. Now, for those of you who don't know what celiacs are, we can't eat any wheat or gluten. In plain-speak (no, I'm not implying you're stupid), we can't eat flour. It runs along the lines of an allergy, although the experts will gladly look down their noses and tell you it is NOT.
My mom has this and I want it!
I found that any (non moist) cake mix will work.Mix it according to the directions and pour it is as if you were making cupcakes.The pudding and moist cake mixes don't turn out as well but can be used.I also add apple sauce in = amounts in place of the oil.Any store bought frosting watered down makes a great glaze.Or you can sprinkle on some powered sugar or hey, eat them naked.They are good with nothing on them at all!

No U.S. recipe...
A fine, well-made pan....BUT...the only recipe which comes with the pan is obviously European and lists ingredients in liter quantities, as well as items not common to the U.S.(such as "1 package of vanilla sugar"...what in blue blazes is that!)...as a result, I've only been able to admire the pan...can't use it till I find a recipe! ... As good as can be!
These au gratins are great for one or two servings and their flattish, open design allows the contents to cook and sizzle and be displayed in the most appetizing way.Well made and relatively easy to clean, they fit in my toaster oven as well.

Cute and High Quality.
I own pieces of silicone bakeware from several different manufacturers, and I would have to say that so far, this Le Creuset item is my favorite. Anything you can bake, you can pour into the heart shaped spaces of these pans and everything comes out perfectly. None of the commonly seen complaints on some other brands. Namely, no baked goods half stuck, no funny odors, and no greasy residue that won't wash away. Cleans up quick and easy, either by hand or in the dishwasher. Definitely heavy duty. This pan is not the thin type others stores pass off at the same or higher price.This pan has some impressive mass to it. This is one of thoese items that will be passed down from generation to generation. These will last a life time and then some.

As with all Nordic Ware, this pan is superb in baking the cake properly with no burnt spots. This pan makes even a "box mix" look special - so you can imagine how special a homemade cake would be in this lovely pan. If you like to bake and present something special, this is a great pan to use.

Nordic Ware Bundts Are the Best!
As an avid cake baker, I won't use anything but Nordic Ware bundts. The quality is superb, and you can forego time-consuming and messy frosting and decorating by using a shaped pan. They look so professional; you can use a simple glaze or just go plain! One hint: use Wilton Cake Release and you won't have to scrub around in the nooks and crannies to get all of the cake crumbs out.
