Nonstick at first, then degrades
I've had this pan for about 5 years. The first batches worked great and I bought pans for everybody, but slowly more and more bits stuck to the pan. I'm using the same cake recipe, so I can only conclude it's the pan that's changing.
Nordic Multi Bundt Pans
I saw these in another catalog and would have had to pay shipping and thought they were expensive until I got the product. I purshased another 6 cakes bundt with different designs. I used the cooking spray and hoped for the best. I made a banana muffin recipie, wrapped them indivudually and put a bow ribbon and gave to my clerical pool as a breakfast treat. The folk were impressed because of the detailing of the muffins and they tasted great. I loved the individual cakes and the pan was wonderful. I have bought several other designs and use them for special occasions.

Great Pan!!
I love all Nordicware products.Their pans are very heavyweight and will last forever.The only thing you must remember when using them is to grease them well.I grease mine with shortening and use a pastry brush to "paint" it on.Doing that I've never had any problems with sticking.Everything comes out beautifully and looks almost to pretty to eat.You will not be disappointed in this pan or any others by Nordicware. ... a nice cutter
This doughnut cutter was a huge help for me. Though it may seem small at only three inches in diameter, it is actually well suited to doughnut-making--they plump up quite a bit in the hot oil. It was easy to use--much easier than trying to cut donuts freehand--and a snap to clean off. The only issue I had was the inner blade, the part that cuts the hole. It wasn't flush with the outer blade, so it would only make a circular outline where the hole should be. I had to insert a turkey skewer into the top of the cutter in order to remove the excess dough from the center. I suppose that this would be helpful for making filled doughnuts, and the use of this cutter sped up the process nonetheless. It's a great kitchen tool to have. ... Read more

Ideal pudding
I had a lot of worries about making the Christmas pudding this year. A few years ago I had attempted to make the pudding and I had another mold and I failed miserably. The pudding just stuck to the mold and I was rather afraid of attempting to make it again. I have since married an Englishman who doesn't think it is Christmas unless there is pudding and of course we received a pudding mold as a wedding gift. This mold help me conquer my fear of making Christmas pudding. It created the perfect dessert. (complete with the flame) The mold is easy to clean and very simple to open and close. It does of course become very very hot when it has been steaming for several hours. Which is a great sign of it conducting the heat well and cooking the pudding. Easy to wash!
I've tried 2 casseroles in the silicone pan and the food cooked more quickly than glass bakeware plus it was so easy to clean. The silicone doesn't hold odors or leave stains. It has taken me only a few minutes to clean the pan vs. 15 minutes to scrub glassware with baked on sauces.. and I did use cooking spray.

Doesn't work for cake
I have made three cakes in this pan and there is no way to get the center of the cake done without burning the edges.Things do bake faster, but the edges are done long before the center, and the net result is a partly ruined cake, whether you go for a done center or perfect edges.Read more
