Great Product - Saves Money
I've really been enjoying my food saver.I didn't really think it would save money overall but it defintely is.It keeps meat and vegetables very fresh tasting even after a significant time in the freezer.I don't have to throw away more pork chops that got lost in the bottom of the freezer and suffered significant freezer burn.I also find you can re-use the bags (from non raw meat storage) if you cut them appropriately so that's not a total waste either.Great product, helps me save money and is easy to use and pretty minimal storage size too.

Doesn't Last
I am now on my 3rd foodsaver in six or seven years. While they are working properly they are great. After about two years, they always seem to stop drawing a vaccuum. The vaccuum pump will run and run but it will not draw a vaccuum. With all the freezing my family does we will continue to keep replacing them because the quality of the vegetables is extended by well over a year. It's worth it to us to replace them every two years. I just wish Tilia would build one at reasonable price that would last about five years.

Died after three weeks
For the first three weeks I was very happy with this product. It sealed both bags and canisters quickly and efficiently.

It is a kind of entertainment to watch how this relatively small machine pops popcorn. it is very funny and the final result is super delicious. I didn't have any problems so far and I am very glad that I found this popcorn popper. My wife and I like to use it very often. Recommended.

WOW! This machine is amazing!!
If you have one of those hot air popcorn poppers, better get rid of it and buy this one! No more putting in popcorn and having it blow back out into the bowl, no more having to fight a warped lid! This machine works very well! I made 2 quarts of popcorn and had a total of three unpopped kernels in the bottom of the bowl when I was done, and two half popped kernels. Beat that you roaring-warped-lid-hot-air-popper! This machine is silent (aside from the popping corn) This popcorn popper DOES require you use a little oil to pop the corn. For 2 quarts of popcorn (1/3 cup of kernels) you need 1 TBSP of oil, which is almost next to nothing. It pops fast and does a thorough job of it. The popcorn I used was NOT gourmet popcorn or any fancy, expensive brand. It was ordinary no-name bulk popcorn from a large bulk food store around here. I recommend this popcorn popper!

Love it
I make about 5 - 6 quarts of yogurt with this machine every week. My kids love them. My favorite is to mix with honey and frozen mixed berries. My kids love yogurt with real mapple syrup and granola or crushed M&Ms. We have yogurt for breakfast almost every morning, that's why I have to keep making them.

I love yougurt and this is the ideal machine. A one quart nancys yougurt container fits in the base. Using one quart containers makes it soo easy. So I never even transfer the yougurt. I had a machine years ago with the little cups, whata waste of time.

Burned Out After a Dozen Uses
For some reason, this unit burned itself out after six months and only about a dozen uses. It was great up until it almost caught fire, never to work again. It was always used according to the instructions: never more than half full of kernels; always popped dry without oil or butter. I would NOT buy this again.

Just a fun machine, nice light popcorn fast
I remeber a family friend had an air popper when I was a kid, one of the old originals, and the game was always to blow the top off of it. Well, the first thing that came to mind when I got my first appartment after college for warming gifts was an air popcorn popper, that was 7 years ago and 3 places later.I love this machine. I have a traditional popper as well, and their is always the microwave, but you never really realize how much oil is stuck to the kernal in traditional poppers.This machine makes popcorn fast and so light, it great to eat without anything. One thing is a caution at the end, if the last few kernals are not popping, when you stop the machine, take a second or two (using oven mits) to tilt the machine to drop the unpopped kernals out. Although usually their may be one or two only (does an excellent job) don't let the kernals burn on the hot grates, hard to clean up, and it smells.Also, at the end of the pop, it can get a bit crazy trying to catch the last few flying kernal the come shooting out the air flow, they even pop sometime outside the popper in the bowl. I find it fun, and kids would help by chaising them, so a few cheep seconds of entertainment for the family as well. So, if you like a light popcorn that is much healther, this is it.Presto has made this machine or a form of it for years, and they do it right. Enjoy

Works great; healthier and cheaper than microwave popcorn
It works great, it's healthier than microwave popcorn, and in the long run it's cheaper too. Pour in half a cup of kernels, plug it in, and within a couple minutes you've got a bowl full of fresh popcorn with only a few unpopped kernels and virtually no cleanup. It's not much louder than most microwave ovens and it's far less likely to burn the popcorn. Only one minor complaint: butter doesn't really melt completely in the cup on top (make sure you have melted butter ready to go if you want it). An on/off switch might've been nice but that's not a big deal unless you want to keep it on your countertop permanently. Oh and this product is identical to the Presto PopLite (ASIN: B00006IUWA) just with a different label (it even says so in the description above), but you get a coupon for 50 cents off Orville's with this one.

Fast, easy and perfect low cal snack
After reading about all the harmful chemicals that possibly end up in microwave bagged popcorn, I decided to look into a hot air popcorn popper.I use this machine at least 3 times a week.I really like it other than it is a little loud and blows popcorn dust on counters and floors and I wish it had an on/off switch other than unplugging it from the wall.I have a GFI protected outlet so I don't feel too uncomfortable with this issue.It makes great popcorn and pops most of the kernels.It makes the perfect low cal, low fat, high fiber snack with minimal effort and preparation and easy clean up.
Simply amazing and easy to use
I recently bought this awesome popper and it works great, both for the price(got mine for $15 from amazon) and performance. It does pop within 2-3 minutes and leave very few unpopped kernels. I am a college student and I know what it takes to clean-up...but hey great news...this is very easy to clean...I just wipe it with a paper napkin and its as good as new.

Great Product
I had been wanting to purchase a food saver for over a year, so I finally decided to go with this model since it matched my kitchen. With the $25 discount from amazon and free shipping I got a really good deal. The only thing I have found wrong with this product is the guides that hold the suction line for storage will not stay on. A small drop of super glue solved this problem for both, therefore I rate this product as a five star.

Great Product
I must admit. I was a little skeptical about what kind of quality I was going to get by spending over $20 for this thing. The quality far exceeded my expectaions, as it is a hefty, sturdy, well made product. It works well.

Tender at LAST!
I'm blown away! With 48 blades, this product really does the job quickly and quietly.No more BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! echoing off the walls which only produced a flat but still tough piece of meat.I'd gladly pay twice the cost for the Deni because it works!It's very sturdy, very sharp and easy to clean in the DW.I'm using cheaper cuts of meat sucessfully in recipes I had stored away because of toughness or price.Marinating is faster and more effective, cooking time can be reduced.Keep it away from kids.Protect your countertop.The best kitchen gadget I ever bought!!!

Excellent item, but.....
I use the tenderizer every time I grill meat.It really works like a charm.And you get a li'l work out in too.The only drawback is cleaning.I seem to remember reading that it is easy as tossing into dishwasher.Well, youwill find small pieces of meat stuck between the blades.Be careful with this since it is raw meat.It is easily disassenbled to be further cleaned.Or just use an old toothbrush to dislodge meat.Oh yeah.Blades are REALLY sharp.Be careful. ... Food Saver Rolls
I like to save money by buying in bulk and portioning out foods for each meal.It cuts down on defrosting time of chicken, fish, steak, hamburger, etc., by wrapping individually instead of in one big lump. My 4 yr. old Tilia Food Saver is still working fantastic at keeping freezer burn off my frozen meats and fish. A healthier yogurt!
This yogurt maker is very easy to use. I personally like to add a little vanilla and honey to the finished product but you don't have to if you prefer the plain.The only negative thing about it is that if you use the recommended amount of milk and fill all 8 containers you are left with very small portions. Therefore, I fill only 7 of them for a reasonable size portion. I also like the fact that you know exactly what is in your yogurt and you can control the amount of sugar added as well.

Before buying this yogurt maker I looked at several different kinds and determined this one to be the best. For one thing, it has eight jars instead of six, and you can also buy an additional eight jars.The jars are not glass, so they're not as likely to break.The jars go into the yogurt maker in two rows of four each, rather than in a circular arrangement, so all the jars should get uniformly warm and the yogurt in each of them should come out the same consistency.All in all, a nicely-designed set.

Horrible Product

So convenient & idiot-proof; my favorite kitchen appliance!
I was a bit skeptical when I read all the rave reviews for this toaster. All 100+ reviews sounded too good to be true. But the reviewers weren't lying.I don't know how to cook anything other than instant noodles & microwave dinners. But I managed to use this toaster to make my own "Egg McMuffin" in just a few minutes! You can't imagine the self-satisfaction I got from that. I couldn't even make an egg before without difficulty, but now I can easily accomplish that with this toaster. I'm also not much of a housekeeper, but cleaning up was a breeze. Just wash the 3 small trays and wipe the heating/water tray with a paper towel soaked in some white vinegar. I would have to waste a lot more time & wash a lot more stuff to make the same thing without this toaster, not to mention I don't actually have the skills to make it without this thing.

Far and away the best and easiest popcorn!
For years, I used an air popper -- but would have never bought it had I known about the wonderful Whirley Pop. It is light and easy to lift, and pops the world's best popcorn, WITHOUT ANY UNPOPPED KERNELS!Although best with coconut or peanut oil, plain old canola oil does just fine.Also, if I add salted butter to the pan with the oil and popcorn, I don't even need any salt -- and need A LOT less butter than I did with the air popper.Also, with the air popper I always had many unpopped kernels, and, no matter how careful I was, had popcorn all over the kitchen.No such problems with this ... It is WONDERFUL in all respects.HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION.

This makes great popcorn
I purchased the Whirley-Pop a few weeks ago and it makes very good popcorn, but you have to be careful not to keep the heat on high during the entire popping time.I put the heat on high to start the popping and then turn it down to medium. If you leave it on high the popcorn burns and sticks to the bottom of the popper. I think it would be very good if the popper was made in a heavy stainless steel, it wouldn't be so apt to burn.However, this being said, it makes great popcorn and the wire stirrer keeps the popcorn moving. Every bit of popcorn popped.

Really glad I bought this
I don't like popcorn, but my family does, and I started to dread the smell of burnt kernels stinking up the microwave from popcorn popped in those paper bags.Nor did I want to sacrifice my All-Clad saucepan to pop plain popcorn on the stovetop.I bought the Whirley Pop on a whim. Amazing!
I have had this product for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! Cocoa ALWAYS comes out perfect. I've never used it for other drinks as I am not a coffee drinker, but I assume they come out just as good as the cocoa! I would recommend this to anyone :) :)

Starbucks quality hot chocolate @ home
I received this item as a gift and it was the best present anyone could have given me! Not an item I would typically buy for myself, this hot cocoa maker has changed the way I feel about hot chocolate and other warm beverages. It is so easy to use allowing anyone to make Starbucks quality hot chocolate (and other beverages) out of store-bought powders at home. It's AMAZING!!!And every time it heats it to the perfect temperature making sure that even the youngest don't burn their tongues.
Many flaws and problems...makes a good cup of cocoa though.
The first one I bought leaked after a week.It was replaced and the second machine leaked after 6 months...could not take it back because the store stopped stocking this machine.

Never got it started
I wanted to like this machine and was excited to receive it. Unfortunately the top wouldn't fit properly into the base and it had to be returned. I'm ordering a different brand today.

Excellent grinder
I was buying pre-grinded coffee in my local coffee shop, unit I bought some very nice beans. So, I decided to buy a grinder. After some research on the internet, I decided on Capresso Infinity. Now I have it for about a month and it works perfectly, grind very well, no mess whatsoever. Overall, a very very good product, that exceed my expectations. Highly reccomended.

Good coffee requires a good grinder!
I am delighted, and completely satisfied with my Capresso 560 cone burr grinder.After giving up on blade grinders five years ago, I had used a Capresso 551 flat burr grinder.This grinder was a great improvement and I was satisfied.Over the years, because of things that were my fault, I had to write to Capresso for help.Their response was fast, complete and satisfactory.When the 551 gave up (likely from overwork) I bought an inexpensive Melita burr grinder.On its finest setting, it would not grind nearly fine enough for my espresso machine.

Best Kitchen Gadget Ever
I'm so happy I accidentally stumbled across this when shopping here. It's really as good as everyone is saying here. It's small enough to tuck away nicely, and cleanup is a snap!
replacement
The purchase of this salad shooter replaces our 7 year old shooter. The old one stopped working due to a worn out switch. I was informed by Presto that these items are not repairable. They do not carry parts to repair them. So now my wife has a new shooter that she uses daily and that saves her a lot of time. And now I don't mind helping her with grating the veges as the shooter takes all of the work out of it. It's also very easy to clean. Any one who cooks a lot should have one of these

Great price for these rolls
You can't beat this price for these rolls. If you own the machine, you'll want more of the bags to seal and store, for sure. This is the best price I could find on this product.

These Are Okay, But I Like the 11" Better
The basic concept appears sound.Smaller foods need smaller width bags.However, in practice we rarely use the 8 inch width.There are a few things that fit better in the 8 inch width, but considering that almost everything that we routinely use in the kitchen will fit in the 11 inch width, we tend to use that width most of the time.
rolls vs. bags
The 8x11.5" quart bags are more convenient to use, but I figured the 8" x 22' rolls would be more cost-effective.As it turns out, the rolls (at $18.69 for 44 bags' worth - assuming a foot per use) are slightly more expensive than the bags (at $18 for 48), so you might as well get the bags.As for being able to use more or less as needed, I've found that I can re-seal or re-use the bags, thus leaving me an assortment of available sizes when I've used their previous contents.It is occasionally useful to have larger sizes, so I would recommend purchasing the bags in the quart size & the rolls in the larger 11" x 18' to give a wide range of useful applications. ... Not so green thumb!
Aerogarden doesn't live up to it claims.Plants on outside corners underperform. I contacted Aerogarden directly and they sent me a new pump, which means you have to disassemble the unit and take the plant pods out to install. New pump doesn't seem to make much difference.Save your $ and grow your herbs outside during growing season!

Cool gadget - one caveat
This is one of these more useful kitchen gadgets. Every time I need fresh herbs for a recipe, I end up buying one of those expensive packs, use one or two twigs, and end up tossing the rest, and everytime it irks me. So this looks like it solves that problem, and do so without becoming this huge time sink that a full-blown herb garden would do.

I only just purchased my AeroGarden, so I have nothing to harvest just yet, but I wanted to comment on the high quality of the package, and the ease of setup.I was very pleasantly surprised.The instruction manual was clearly written and diagrammed.You simply screw in the light bulbs, attach the light to the base, add water, drop the seed packets into their slots (clearly marked), cover them, plug it in, drop in a couple of tablets and you're good to go.

Easy, effective and delicious
I've been making homemade yogurt for about 6 months and got this to make low fat cream cheese.It's so easy that I thought I was doing something wrong.Pop the yogurt in and and next day I have delicious, fresh - as in FRESH - cream cheese. Wonderful with bagels and super base for dips. So much better than the fat free cream cheese from the store. Eggordinary Egg Cooker
I found this gadget to be quite suitable for my everyday needs. I would definitely recommend this cooker.I'm always overcooking my eggs, but with this cooker it basically impossible to overcook your eggs.

We are very pleased with the Oster egg cooker. We have had it for approximately one month. It took us a little while to get the proper water level to cook only two soft boiled eggs at a time. Now that we have, it is excellent. Cooking two poached eggs to perfection is very easy. Hard boiled eggs are a snap! We purchased this model because of the automatic shut-off which works just fine. We have found that using filtered water rather than tap water keeps the cooker base cleaner. However, regardless, it is easy to clean and we have used the cream of tartar which takes care of any residual minerals that build up. Not my favorite appliance
I was given this sandwich press as a gift.Honestly, I feel it is just another specialty appliance to take up storage in my kitchen.If I could open it up all the way so that I get more surface area than my skillet - and have it double as a griddle, that would make it more worth having for me.But other than toasting/pressing a sandwich, I would use my skillet for any of the other uses it suggests because I can adjust the temperature on my range. I wish the sandwich press temperature was adjustable.
