5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Small Room Heater!
I bought this heater after seeing how highly rated it is- and you guys were right! This is the best little heater ever.I bought it to keep me warm in the bathroom (I have one of those awful new house designs where the master bathroom is completely open to the master bedroom.)It works great.Gets very hot or just warm thanks to the dial. The only down side is that there is no off switch- but it is just as easy to pull the cord out of the wall as it is to turn a switch off!Portable and can be taken from room to room in one hand.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Heater for Office or Bath Room!
I love this heater. I use it all the time at work and it keeps me warm and toasty. I love that it has a dial so that if you get too hot you can turn it down. It heats up super quick and turns itself on and off to keep the right temperature. Its nice and small and has a nice look to it too.I like it so much that I'm buying another one to keep my bathroom warm for when I take showers.Oh, and for the people that say there is no on/off switch, you just turn the dial all the way down to turn it off. The light stays on, but the heater will not come on if you have the dial all the way down. Trust me, I have it plugged in at work all the time.

4-0 out of 5 stars ultra portable, fast heat !!
We ordered it urgently since our living room was getting cooler.

No more worrying about overheating or starting a fire, a ceramic thermal cut-off mechanism shuts the heater down if it's accidentally tipped over or covered with curtains, blankets etc. A dual heat-flow setting makes it easy to regulate. Choose the "hi" setting for 1500 watts or the "lo" setting for 750 watts. And, an adjustable thermostat helps fine-tune temperatures and conserve energy. When winter is over, the fan operates without heat for summer cooling. A built-in handle and wide solid base ensures optimal stability and convenient portability. And, this quiet operator is perfect for any room in the house. An anti-freeze setting automatically turns on the heater when the temperature reaches 44 degrees Fahrenheit. 5-0 out of 5 stars Reliable low cost heater
Very reliable and low cost heater fan for use in a small area. Been using it for 2 years with no problems.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best $20 spent
Best 20$ I've ever spent. It does have some flaws as stated previously in other reviews, the knobs are hard to read but I've found that I use it so much that I really don't need to be able to see it anymore. The thermometer seems stable, I never have a problem with it getting too hot in the winter, and it manages to heat my efficiency apartment very well. The cord is 'regular' length so it's not tiny and I don't need an extension cord. Over all on a students budget I've definitely found a winner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cold office, warm hands
I love this heater. It's extremely quiet. It has to be, since it sits on my desk facing the left side of my keyboard, keeping my hands nice and warm.

4-0 out of 5 stars Amazing heat output
Recently bought because our furnace went out. This is able to keep our house super warm, maybe even too warm.
2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
This radiator was a big disappointment. Even if my heater is on lowest setting both of the red lights come on, indicating that it is on the highest setting. Analog thermostat has no indication of what temperature I have set it on. 96 settings are tiny 96 pins that are needed to moved to set on and off periods (you can move many at a time though). However, cannot set different on and off periods for weekend. Even when it is off, it makes a little periodic noise --- like a clock which is disconcerting at the least.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best electric space heater I have ever used !
I have tried the quartz and ceramic heaters which often require a small fan to circulate air past the elements to heat the air. I have also been in homes that use natural gas for gravity heat, central air, built in electric ceiling heat, and a natural gas wall heater. Most of the gas or electric element heaters that I mentioned tend to dry out and remove some of the oxygen from the air which can cause that uncomfortable "soar throat and headache" feeling. These DeLonghi oil-filled radiators don't seem to negatively effect the air since they use clean electricity and simply heat up the air through efficient convection and radiation. This model TRD0715T has side metal tubing that creates more of a vacuum effect which seems to make the hot air blow out of the top of the unit without the use of a fan. DeLonghi rightfully nicknames this as a "Dragon model" since has the effect of a forced air heater without the noise or extra electricity requirements. On low 700W, medium 900W, or high 1500W settings you can feel the hot air at least two feet above the top of the heater. A simple analog thermostat dial enables you to choose your desired temperature level for the unit to operate at. Other nice features include a 96 position, 24 hour timer that allows you to customize when the heater turns on or off throughout the day. There are also some nice safety features such as an automatic shut-off if the unit is tipped over or if the temperature of the unit gets too high. Although the sides and top of the device get hot it does not burn you if you happen to accidently touch it. These devices are very efficient compared to the other electric heaters and many people use them as very efficient room space heaters and they are able to turn down their central air systems to save on gas or electricity.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great value space heater model
In the middle of February the temperature dropped down to the upper thirties (degrees F) at night here in SoCal. To make things worse the main central heating source in my house which is a natural gas wall heater that has seen better days. After a week of less than dependable operation... one night during its heat cycling phase it took longer than normal for the pilot to light up and a larger than normal ignition blew out the pilot flame. While I waited the next week for the wall furnace to be serviced I had to rely on a large quartz technology space heater as my only source of heat. After a night of low fifty degree temperatures in my room I thought it was a good idea to purchase an additional heater. Most places were sold out of their space heaters so I went to the "big W" mart to see what they had. While searching for another quartz heater I discovered that this DeLonghi SafeHeat model EW0507 was the only electric space heater that they had in stock. Since it was getting late at night, it was raining, it was going to be another very cold night and the price of this heater was actually very good I made the purchase.
5-0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly effecient
We (like lots of others) were socked with a nearly 100% increase in our natural gas bill last month. We decided to get a space heater to decrease the number of times the main furnace needs to 'kick-in'.In our modest 1600 sf home, we place this heater in the center of the house and leave the interior doors open most of the time. To our surprise, the house maintained its temperature without use of the furnace except for a few times when it got really cold. We did not even have the thermostat turned very far up, only about half-way.
3-0 out of 5 stars GOOD PRODUCT WITH DEFINITE LIMITATIONS
I bought this product last December with the hopes of being able to warm my shed up just enough to be able to work on my Harley, without all my tools being so freezing cold they couldn't be handled! Did it work? Yes and no. Provided the ambient temperature was at about 40F degrees and above, then the heater was just adequate enough to allow me to work. Anything below that though, no soap! Even with the addition of my usual starting up and running the bike for a while (to add heat to shed work area) proved to be inadequate for our typical South Dakota 'Ice Age' periods!

5-0 out of 5 stars SUPER SAFE QUALITY
This mica panel heater is a tremendous upgrade from my previously owned ceramic heaters. First of all, I am using it with the wheels and not as a wall mount. There are two heating levels 750 watts and 1500 watts. You choose the level. In addition there is an excellent thermostat. A real plus is that the unit can be turned off without undoing your thermostat setting. Heat is practically instant - not like oil filled radiators. The heat produced is enjoyably "ambient" without the feeling of a hot blast with cold spots around it. Best of all, it is silent. Because of the design, no fan is is needed. Air circulates freely off of the large mica surface. Of the many electric heaters I've owned, I think this is the safest I've found. I'm not afraid that it's going to burn down my house. Of course, as with any appliance, be extremely cautious with its use around children. ... Read more

we bought this heater almost a year ago to use in the home office area.we have no heating system in that room and it gets pretty cold. we keep honeywell running at 70F for approximately 6 hours a day and it works fine and heats up the room efficiently.yesterday we purchased the delonghi TRN0812T to put in the baby's room to save some space. we hope delonghi will do the job as good as honeywell.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good
Gas prices here in California skyrocketed recently. We have an older, less efficient gas heater I haven't replaced yet. So we bought two of these Honeywells to switch to more electric heat. We're very satisfied. They warm up the room quickly, stay out of the way, and won't burn you to the touch. My big dog sits with his behind right up against it, and hasn't hurt himself yet! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A great little heater !
We bought one after reading the reviews and tried it in our large basement which is always a few degrees cooler then the rest of the house. After having it on for an hour the basement felt wonderful. no degrees of difference. We were shocked that this little heater can put out somuch heat. No longer using blankets when watching T.V in the basement. I am going to get one more in case they stop making this product. It is light weight and has a handle on one end to easly roll it where you need it... also it is wonderful if you have small kids around it. The grill is warm yet not hot enough to burn your hand.A great product!
4-0 out of 5 stars Good heater!
I got Bionaire BH 3900 heater from BJs for $59 only.Amazon.com's market place is far too expensive to shop. I used to shop a lot at Amazon.com in the past, but now I have to go somewhere else, as lots of things I wanted were no more available at the Amazon.com, although I could still get it here ( from the third party seller) but the price & the shipping rate are ridiculously high, like this model here Bionaire BH3900, you could get it for $59 each at BJS, why pay $103 plus shipping here ? I got my two NEW delonghi oil filled radiators ---MG15T for $63 and HM25T for 74 ,which included $13 & $14 shipping rate from the Neweggs.com, I odered it yesterday morning & arrived this afternoon, I didn't pay for the express delivery, just a standard shipping, I was very impressed by newegg.com.If I had purchased from here I would have to pay a lot more!

2-0 out of 5 stars Worked great for 4 months
I purchased this unit at Sears about 2 years back. It kept me warm through the night and I could agree with other reviewers that Bionaire was a great product. After the winter was over, I put the unit away in my closet. When another winter arrived, the Biornaire heater was put to use again, but this time the unit did not perform as well. The heater shut itself off after 10 minutes; I followed the reset instruction but the heater was on for less than five minutes and shut itself off again. I called the customer service to report the problem because the unit was used for only 4 months. They offer me a replacement unit which is a HS3800-U, at my own shipping cost. The lesson here is to purchase a warranty with your bionaire products. That way, you are not struggling with a decision of whether or not you should spend money on the shipping ( both ways ) or just put that money toward a new product. ... Read more

Freestanding heaters come in several different varieties; hot-air blowers, natural gas burners, and circulated-oil warmers. Then there are reflective heaters, which use electricity to warm a metal screen that then reflects heat out into the room. The Soleus Air MS-12 reflective heater has a few advantages over other types of heaters; it doesn't burn up oxygen like a natural gas heater, and it doesn't stir up dust as would the blower variety. And it's practically silent, without the ticking and pinging common in some of the other heater types. Read more

After reading all the reviews and hearing about this on the radio, I went ahead and shelled out $100 for this.I had really high expectation, having never spent so much for a heater before.I have happy to say that I am completely satisfied. This heater doesn't overwhelm and dry out the room with too much heat.Instead it circulates the heat over time (you should probably give it a good half hour to properly heat the whole room) evenly heating the whole room and leaving absolutely no cold spots. After spending some time in my room, I had completely forgotten how cold it was outside.Other bonuses are that it is very easy to operate and has a thermostat so you can set it to the exact termerature that you want your room to be.My only minor complaint is that for its price, it should have included a remote control.Otherwise, it is a wonderful heater.

We use one heater in the master bedroom which is both large with a sitting room and has a cathedral ceiling. The temperature differential between the floor and ceiling is at least 10 degrees. The DVH effectively circulates the air to blend the cold and warmer air.We have the heater pointed toward the bed creating a warm cloud over the bed.We have two young children and bought a unit for each of their rooms. The Vornado series is absolutely cool to the touch so their is zero concern that they will be burned. We run the units on low in their rooms since they are so effective.Although care needs to be taken, we move a unit to point into their bathroom door before running the bath water to warm the room as the tile can make the bathroom quite cold.Running the unit non-stop assuming the heater never cuts off costs less than a dollar a night when running on high and half that on low.We can drop the thermostat in the whole house by three to five degrees, save money, and be far more comfortable. These are truly amazing and effective heaters.

3-0 out of 5 stars Yes and No Voranado
Yes.It does heat very well, cabinet stays cool.My problems are:1)It interferes with AM radio reception even when in a far away room in the house. You really cannot listen to any AM station while the heater is on; 2) there are no "grab" handles, only an indentation which make it slippery and hard to grasp to move around. This is a major drawback for us.Otherwise it's the best I've ever had, heating-wise. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

The Soleus Air MS-20A ceramic wall heater is a modern, electric version of the old-fashioned freestanding gas heaters that used ceramic bricks to hold and radiate heat. The MS-20A uses less ceramic material to achieve greater heat production than those dinosaurs did, and it has a few other improvements, too. First, the heater's PTC ceramic element --PTC stands for positive temperature coefficient-- allows for more rapid heat transfer to the desired temperature setting. There's also a built-in fan and a 7-1/2-hour timer. And because the MS-20A is electrical, there's no dangerous open flame burning off the oxygen in the room. Oh, and the best part--remote control. Settings on the MS-20A can be adjusted without ever getting up from bed or from the comfy chair. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Does what is should
I've found this heater to be pretty good.It mounts on the wall relatively easily (good for a house with pets and babies) and has been pretty reliable. Its controls are, indeed, quite unsophisticated (no temperature gauge and a simple timer), but that probably keeps the cost down; better yet, this heater works and is pretty quiet.Seems like someone on this list has had some bad experiences, but so far, so good with me.I'lm going to buy another for my basement.

Pros: Wall-mountable; Puts out a good amount of heat; Relatively quiet; Cool to the touch
5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful
Wonderful little heater, works well; doesn't seem to jack up my electric bill much at all; doesn't get hot on top, bottom or back; looks good; light weight and compact size, plus it has a remote control and timer. Couldn't ask for more for this price. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Little Heater
After reading dozens of reviews on dozens of heaters, I gave up and ordered what looked good.So far, I very happy with this one.Although assembly was indicated, it came fully assembled. It heats my son's bedroom (10 x 12) in very short order and it takes the chill off my living room (16 x 22).I switched to a pellet heater as my primary fuel and there are some areas of my home that just stay cool.I'm confident this will do the job on all but the coldest of days (Mid-Michigan).The directions are easy to understand and the remote is simple to use.The only drawback is the LED panel is super bright for my sleeping preference (great nightlight for a kid) and when the timer (max 7.5 hour) shuts the unit off, it seems to erase the preset room temp.It then defaults back to 75 degrees.Could be I haven't figured it out yet but either way, that's a minor thing to me.Overall, I think I got a good deal on a good heater. ... Editorial Review

Keep toasty when Jack Frost comes nipping by basking in the warm breeze of this fan heater from Italian industry leader, DeLonghi. The fan heater oscillates to spread heat throughout the room. Best used as an enhancement to a central heating system, separate use of the fan heater also provides comfort in the fall and spring months during cool mornings and evenings. Small and medium rooms benefit most from the application of the quiet fan heater. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars So far So good!
I have an office that is a decent size, on the smaller size- but has a very large window and thin walls so it is arctic cold at times. I purchased this heater based on the reviews and the remote control...the remote is great, as is the safety feature. I have only had it a couple of days, but so far I am very happy. I have the thermostat cranked up as high as it will go and the heater on the highest setting and its so quiet I can barely tell its running. My office heats up so quickly my coworkers have been stopping by to warm up!
5-0 out of 5 stars Exceptional Little Heater
I can't say enough good things about this heater. I've used plastic fan heaters for years, mostly Holmes. But Holmes seemed to have none that fit the bill this year, so I decided to get 3 different DeLonghi ones. This is the one I've used the most. I'm using it to heat a large bedroom, and it does so without any problems on medium heat. It has more safety features then any other heater I've ever owned also--it will turn off if badly jolted, if tipped over, if any vents are blocked, if it starts to overheat for any reason. It also will not turn on if it's not on a hard flat surface. This is very reassuring with the pets. I personally would prefer not to have a remote control heater, but for such a terrific little heater, I'll use one. :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Good Heater
I bought this for my Husband, He uses it in the Rec room. He loves the fact that it is remote controlled as well as it really does heat up the room. One of the features that he likes is the fact that it rotates around like a cooling fan. There is a tempature controller on it as well.
