5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing for the money
I wanted to enter the world of espresso at home without spending a bundle.I figured if I used it a lot, I'd upgrade to a better maker later.I decided on this model after reading reviews here and elsewhere.I've had this model for about a month now and I love it.It is simple to use and simple to clean and makes good espresso.
5-0 out of 5 stars For the price it perfoms wonderfully
I have had this machine now for about 7.5 months and it is just beginning to show signs of breakdown BUT it still functions adequately and with the proper amount of finagling produces almost the same espresso it made when I first purchased the machine. But let me preface the following review with the fact that I ran this machine ragged.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great for the money
Ok, it's not the swankest machine on the market - but I got it for my birthday and I have to admit it does a good job. I worked in a coffee shop as a barista all the way through college and have used some beautiful Italian machines. This isn't one of those - but it makes a good shot of espresso from both the ground coffee and the pod with a decent crema (make sure to tamp it down really well). To all of those out there who are complaining about the temp, remember this is a pump driven machine not a boiler so if you want it hotter, hit the froth button for a few moments to increase the temp, but remember that can also scorch the coffee.

3-0 out of 5 stars Chefs Choice M130 Professional Sharpening Station
From the description of the M130 I was expecting to receive a machine that would be the answer to all of my sharpening problems, but it was not to be. It took many repetitions of dragging my kitchen knives through the number one and number three sharpening wheels before I got any results that resembled what the instruction manual indicated I should get. I'm hoping with time andpractice I can become better adept at putting a professional edge on my kitchen knives, but I would hesitate to recommend the M130 to a novice like myself. Spend less and try one of the less fancy models. You'll probably do just as well. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars What is the world coming to...???
Why do manufacturers always have to change a good thing?
5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for New Users
I have never owned a crock pot before, so I was a little apprehensive.I did a lot of research and finally settled on this item because of size, price and shape of the unit.I am extremely happy with the product. It is perferct for a first time user - not too complicated, but has eveything you need to make the most basic or more complicated recepies. It did not smell at all on first use (many pots have that reputation). It is very attractive and fits nicely on my countertop. The inner ceremic part is very sturdy and cleans up very easily.I do recommend for first-time users that you purchase one good cookbook (many are carried on Amazon).I purchased several, and my favorite so far is "The Gormet Slow Cooker"I have tried several recepies and they were all perfect.I am converted to crock-pot cooking!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the Money
Very nice unit.Looks and cooks great.Nice size. Can handle just about anything you wish to cook.Thought I would miss having three cooking temps to choose from...only has Low and High, but two are more than enough to do anything required. And do them very well.Have made many different bean soups, rice, stews and a soup with TWO chickens and so on, all cooked to perfection.Happy cooking.... ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Loved it, for a while
I bought this cooker seven months ago, and really liked it.It's quite handsome, and I have no complaints about how it works.I've made many fine meals in it.Sadly, the knob broke a few weeks or a month ago.I glued it back together, but today it broke apart again.I don't think it will take a second gluing any better than the first, so now if I want to use it I have to use pliers or something, and I have to count clicks--which are not as distinct as I'd like--to know quite which setting it's on.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent slow cooker
I'm a big slow cooker fan, and had a huge GE unit, which worked well until the lid broke. I quickly got this Hamilton Beach one from Amazon, and I'm very satisfied. No fancy stuff, just a basic cooker, but it serves that purpose very well. The quantity is just right for a dish for four. And it looks good too, with the exposed steel exterior and black crock. For this price, this is the best I can find.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nice size for single person or small roasts
I am happy with the small size. Most slow cookers are 6 quart. This 4 quart one satisfies my needs while taking up less space.I have only tried it once, and my roast turned out dry, mainly because I need to learn how to make a pot roast!

5-0 out of 5 stars You won't be disappointed
Bought this based on the recomendation of Good Eats. I use AB's basic waffle recipe and adjust the proportions of white and wheat flour to suit my taste that day. The temperature control works best set at 7, except when I make cornbread waffles which come out best set at 5. I initially used non stick spray but found in unnecessary with butter in the recipe. The deep texture of the waffles make them great for holding on to whatever you choose to top them.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Waffle Maker!!!
This is truly one of the best waffle makers I have ever used. The temperature control ensures a perfectly cooked waffle every time! Not to mention it's non-stick coating makes it easy to clean, making breakfast preparations and the inevitable cleanup afterwards a snap! I would recommend this waffle maker to anyone!

5-0 out of 5 stars Makes great waffles every time
Round wafflers are better than square ones since pouring batter on the waffler spreads in a circular pattern and evenly fills the area. This is probably why I disliked any square one I bought. We make a lot of waffles and love this waffler. It is consistent in making waffles just the way you like them since you can adjust the browning (making softer or crisper waffles).Well made, reasonable price and wipe-easy clean. Just don't overfill with batter - you'll get the hang of it! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars love it!
This little item has brought great joy to my mornings.I had been using a little bialetti moka pot for my morning coffee and adding milk from the fridge. The Mukka Express is a bit more effort, but is more than worth it.As other reviewers have revealed, it is not foolproof (the reason for the 4 star review). There have been 2 times (in over 30 uses) when it leaked.Unfortunately, when this occurs, you have to start over (much hassle). There have also been a few times when it has not produced much foam (still good, though. I think this has to do with how well I've cleaned it). But, on the whole, the end-product is just as promised - a good strong latte with a lot of foam.Because there's milk involved, it does take a bit longer to clean than the regular moka pot. But, it is not too much trouble for the joy of a good cappuccino at my own kitchen table.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's wonderful. Clean well for happiness.
The mukka Express rocks. But there are some small tips:
1-0 out of 5 stars Save your money
I've followed the instructions carefully each time. About 1 time out of 10, I have a decent cup of cappuccino. The rest of the time, I have spills (despitetightening the pieces carefully) or just steamed milk. It's a pain to clean up as well. I recommend saving your money and buying a better quality product. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Yogurt Starter
This starter is excellent!I used it to make soy yogurt with no problems.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT yogurt
I recently bought an Euro Cuisine yogurt maker and resumed making my own yogurt. There is no comparison - homemade is MUCH better.Starter matters.I tried Dannon plain yogurt as my starter. It worked, but the yogurt wasn't nearly as good. The Euro Cuisine yogurt starter tastes much better, and after the first batch, it "brews" up in only three hours.I think the bacteria are really lively, which is probably a bonus for our gut, too.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Yogurt Starter!
I had purchased the Euro Cuisine Yogurt Maker about a year ago, then just recently noticed that Euro Cuisine came out with their own brand of starter. I have to say, that using the starter made the yogurt making process so much better, because the ingredients they use in the culture is so healthy and it makes the yogurt so much more delicious. I already fell in love with the Euro Cuisine Yogurt maker, now I have fallen in love with their starter as well. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love the little packets!
I have made yogurt with a few tablespoons from the super market or with a previous batch, but sometimes I sweeten the whole batch with honey and forget to reserve some of the good stuff.I probably use these every other batch or so now.
5-0 out of 5 stars Yummmm
I tried this culture and liked it a lot. When I ran out, I went to the health food store thinking culture was culture. WRONG!! I am back again, and getting the good stuff.
5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect yogurt starter
Wonderful to have these packets on hand for starting a batch of yogurt.Use when you have run out of your own live yogurt to start up a new batch. They can be used for all batches, but I tend to use them as a backup. When the supply is getting low, I buy more. That way I am always able to use the yogurt-maker. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Cooks good food, but not smokeless
All considered, I decided to give this Sanyo indoor grill a 5-star rating. It's probably more like 4.5 stars, but Amazon doesn't allow that.I'll explain.
5-0 out of 5 stars Thrill of the Grill
Love this grill. There are three major parts to this grill, a lightweight plastic frame, the actual grill grate with the electric built into it, and the electric cord. There is also a lightweight drip tray. It amazed me that something so simple could cook food as well as my large propane Weber grill. I love that there is no gas to have to run to the store to get, love that I don't have to worry about not having enough gas to cook the meal. The food cooks perfectly. I start most things on high to sear the meat then turn it down with a result of tender on the inside and crisp on the out. Smoke/steam is minimal especailly if you spray the grill before you turn it on. It has ample grilling space without being crowded. I find it as easy to clean as any other pan I would cook with. I let the grill soak elevated in hot soapy water. Food tastes much better cooked on this than baked in an oven. I love mine!

5-0 out of 5 stars Sanyo indoor grill
I would recommend this grill to anyone who doesn't have a outdoor grill or to use during the winter months inside.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great little tool
I just got the Aerolatte this morning and am blown away with it.Everyone should have one for mixing, and foaming milk.this helped produce the perfect cup of coffee in the kitchen, I ordered a French Coffee Press with it.Boiled the water, grinded the beans medium grind then steeped the beans and water for 4 mins.Poured it in the cup then used the aerolatte to foam the milk.Poured it in and created a cup of coffee that was so smooth it would go with any meal.the milk added such an extra creamy dynamic to my morning cup.I thoroughly enjoy this little device, it has power to spare! Be sure to put it back in the case after using it.

5-0 out of 5 stars I loved it, now I really miss it!

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice while it worked
This microwave is compact, attractive, inexpensive, and does the job--for as long as it lasts.Mine lasted one year, then conked out.The timer and clock and buttons still work--everything but the carousel and microwave cooker.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good product for the money
My Husband and I are very pleased with this microwave, easy to use and just the right size.

5-0 out of 5 stars Momma's little helper
I admit, I HATE cooking over a stove. This is the Twentyfirst Century! So, now we have, Voila! This advanced technology - at least since the WWII era when navy radar technicians used to get fried, occasionally, when someone turned on the transmitter when they were up in the superstructure repairing the antenna! This Sharp R-216FS 800-Watt microwave is a winner. This is the third Sharp microwave I've had and I have to say I've found little to fault with any of them. This is the biggest and best of them although it didn't cost a fortune. For the price, they are the biggest bargain in microwaves, I think. This is my first Sharp that had the ability to change the power level, as some of my 'TV' dinners suggest (tells you something about my lifestyle). Recommended. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a small family
The best cooker I have bought till now. However, it is good for a max of 3 cups (not 3.3 as it says), it spills after that.
5-0 out of 5 stars rice cooker
This rice cooker is the perfect size for a single or couple. You will not have to throw away extra rice.It makes excellent rice in a short amount of time.I would recommend this rice cooker to anyone that has a small family.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Really Good Rice Cooker For Smaller Quantities of Rice
Works just fine. It's simple and basic, and good for cooking small quantities of rice.Just right for 2, or maybe up to 4, people. The non-stick coating makes for easy cleanup. And since it doesn't have a "warm" feature, there's even less chance of rice sticking to the bottom. The warm feature isn't really needed, since one islikely to use up what's been cooked during one's meal, before the rice gets cold.

Editorial Review

Perfect for preparing coffee at home before dashing out the door, this coffeemaker brews through the lids directly into either one or both of the 14-ounce travel mugs accompanying the machine. The stainless-steel mugs have rubber, nonslip grips, fit most vehicle cup holders, and are 6-3/4 inches high, with 2-5/8-inch-diameter rubber bottoms. Lids keep coffee hot in the mugs and are deeply indented and sloped toward the drink hole to contain spills. Both mugs and their lids are dishwasher-safe. The coffeemaker uses disposable paper filters (two included), automatically shuts off after the brewing process, and can also be used to heat water for tea, hot chocolate, and instant foods like oatmeal and soup. Made of gleaming black plastic, the coffeemaker measures 13 inches high, 5-1/4 inches wide, and 8-1/2 inches deep, and carries a three-year warranty against defects. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, with 2 qualifications
My Two-to-Go has been working for over two years, making at least one cup every day. It is fantastic, with two qualifications: 1. Throw the cups that come with it in the trash and use a Starbucks thermos-cup. It keeps the coffee hot for hours. 2. Don't try making 2 cups at the same time. Having thrown the original cups away, I only have my one Starbucks cup anyway.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
We love our coffee and our very picky about what kind of maker we use, but when our machine broke down and we needed one in a hurry we picked this one up on sale. We've had it now for THREE YEARS and never had any real problem with it. It heats the cold water up so well we have to give it a few minutes to cool before we lid it or we can't drink it for an hour without burns.
5-0 out of 5 stars This thing is great!
OK, I admit, I did not buy it for myself - my husband bought it for me and it sat for a long time before I used it.But when I figured the thing out I LOVED it!I am so sorry for all of you that lost your coffee maker after just a few uses.I am also sorry it does not fit your "cleaning" requirements.I am very sorry for all of you that had the "coffee explosion."Mine has worked twice a day for a couple of years now with only one coffee explosion and no other problems.I am going to order another one so when my little coffee maker does finally give it up I will have a replacement. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars too slow
What the heck is going on?I ordered this item 3 weeks ago, it has not delivered yet.So I can't even make a review on this item.

5-0 out of 5 stars An easy way to drink more water
When our offices were redecorated, all the water coolers were taken away.Since then, I've been carrying in bottles of water at the start of every week -- or trying to remember to bring them in.Very annoying! This has been the perfect solution for me -- I fill it up in the morning from the tap and have it right at my desk.Easy to use, and the water tastes great. After years of good intentions, I'm FINALLY drinking more water!

4-0 out of 5 stars good filter for the price
I could definitely tell a difference in the taste of my water, and hopefully that means it's chlorine free, but I haven't had it tested. However, it must be doing its job because the filter itself only lasts about a month! I think that its life span just depends on how bad your water is. It works better that my old Brita filter, which I could tell wasn't working because my water still smelled like chlorine with that one. That being said, I would buy the PUR pitcher over again if given the choice. ... Read more

I have been using this cooker for last one month and it is awesome. Earlier also I used this cooker and ordered the same one. Amazon is doing great service with online shopping. I will continue to do Amazon online shopping and advise others also.
5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Rice Cooker
I have an older rice cooker from panasonic. Its made of aluminium & is pain to clean after cooking. This one has a non-stick pan & works GREAT !! It comes with a spatula to serve rice & a measuring cup. Overall, A good buy for the price paid.

5-0 out of 5 stars It is good product
I have used couple of branded Rice cookers earlier, I found Panasonic SR-G18BG 10 Cup Rice Cooker/Steamer is the best one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Brain KF590E
Makes a very hot coffee but the flavor is very good. It has a fast brew time.Only thing that was hard to figure out was the preset brewing timer...once you figure it out, it is simple to adjust.Key = holding the auto brew button down until the light blinks - release and then hold down either the hour or min. key and it will start moving. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Looking Forward to the New Kits
I have to agree with previous reviewwers comments about the selection of herbs in this kit.I would have preferred parsley, thyme and rosemary to some of the herbs in the kit.Two types of basil is just overkill when there is a separate basil kit.
4-0 out of 5 stars Tasty herbs, but why these?
Well, this is the kit I tried first, and the back row of plants & center front are doing the best. Both basils shoot right out of their pods. The Dill and Cilantro are growing tall, and there is lots of mint, but it is tiny. The chives are looped back into the sponge & have yet to try to stand up straight, and the Oregano is sprouting within the sponge, but has yet to come out of hiding. And this is at the beginning of week 2.I believe I could probably harvest a little basil at the end of week 3.
