4-0 out of 5 stars Love them, but cracking is definitely an issue!
I have been using Foodsaver canisters for just over one year now, and I own quite a few, of varying sizes.A good percentage of them have cracked over that period of time.(I hand wash the bottoms, wipe out the lids as directed, no temperature extremes, no abuse. They just crack in my pantry.)Normally, experiencing this (repeatedly) would be enough for me to swear off a product and never mess with it again, but when they're working, they work really well, and I have to say that Tilia's customer service stands behind these canisters. They have cheerfully replaced every single one that's mysteriously cracked. (I did not ask them to replace the one my husband dropped and destroyed!)Because they've given me no hassles about replacing their canisters, I have little hesitation about continuing to purchase their products. My recommendation is to keep a record somewhere of the date and place of purchase for your canisters; they'll want this information if you call for a replacement. The warranty period is one year; when they send a replacement, it's guaranteed for a year too.
1-0 out of 5 stars foodsaver cannister
I was very unhappy with this product.I ordered several cannisters and 3 out of 5 cracked after the first use!!!I did everything that they recommended and they all cracked in the same manner. The people at Foodsaver were very happy to replace them because they are under "warranty" but I am surprised to see how fragile this product is.FYI, they will not warranty the products sold on E-Bay.I should have listened to the reviews and not taken a chance on this product.

4-0 out of 5 stars No problems for over a year
I don't know how I ever got by without a Foodsaver before.I bought mine over a year ago, along with extra canisters, and I've had no problems so far.I was surprised to see so many reviews about cracked containers - all of mine are fine, and I use them often!I only handwash them, like the directions say, so maybe that's helped prolong their life. The whole system is great; the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's so expensive (accessories too)! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great product, easy setup -- but make sure its compatible with your printer
It's rare to buy a wireless network product and have it up and running successfully in just minutes. But that was my experience with this Netgear wireless print server.
5-0 out of 5 stars Quick setup on two PCs and a Mac G4
I needed a way to hook an old Dell desktop, an old IBM ThinkPad, and an old Mac G4 to an old HP Laserjet. The newest piece of this hardware is three years old. My router is a new Belkin N1 (which I really like) and it's located upstairs. Initial configuration of the print server and setup on the first PC took about 20 minutes, setup on the second PC about 5 minutes and setup on the Mac about 20 minutes. Here's what I did:
4-0 out of 5 stars Works great once your network can find it
I would not have got this thing working if not for Hooper's review below.I too use MAC filtering and so I added the MAC address on the box to my list -- nothing. Then I remembered having seen something to this effect in the reviews here when I was researching the device.Once that was done, the rest worked flawlessly.Would have been nice if the installation documentation acknowledged this fact.

3-0 out of 5 stars Worked great till it died....
We used the thing to death...literally. Used it daily. Loved it when it worked, but 6 months later the water tasted funny and the heating element started putting off this wretched smell that wouldn't leave the air. So we tossed it, and now we're on the search for another one. But finding one this size and as pretty isn't easy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Water Tastes Like Plastic & Filter is of Poor Design
On the plus side, the kettle boils water quickly, it's inexpensive, and the overall design is clever. Unfortunately, a couple of problems with this item may force me to abandon it.
2-0 out of 5 stars Hmmmm boils water....but
I only gave this 2 stars because the filter keeps falling off and without it securely in place and the lid shut just right it doesn't turn off!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Faucet Water Filter
This is the best water filter I have found also have a Pur but like my Brita better

3-0 out of 5 stars Works fine - but flow of water is _very_ slow after a while
We got this system about 10 months ago, and are on our 3rd filter now. It works great - our water tastes much better when it's been through the filter, and I assume it's also devoid of most of the nasty stuff in it. The one downside is that the flow of water through the filter is pretty slow, and it gets slower as your filter ages. One has to have patience to fill up a quart of water - takes 30 seconds easily when your filter is not brand new.

5-0 out of 5 stars brita water filter
I have previously used the Brita water container, but the on tap water filter system is wonderfully easy to use!NO more awkard handling of a big water pitcher.I also enjoy the ability to switch between unfiltered and filtered water. It is small in size and not too bad to look at. ... Read more

Editorial Review

You don't need a 6- gallon oil vat to enjoy deep- fried foods at home--this petite deep fryer makes four big servings with just 4 cups of oil. A compact 7 inches in diameter, the fryer features easy controls for precision frying: it automatically maintains the proper frying temperature, letting you focus on cooking instead of fussing with the controls. The fryer features a snap-on lid, so you can store oil right in the fryer for reuse. All surfaces are nonstick for tidy cleanup (the fryer is not dishwasher-safe and should never be completely immersed in water). A hand scoop is included with the fryer for easy stirring, lifting, and draining, and the 120-volt AC cord unplugs from the outlet, while the attached handle makes the fryer easy to move around the kitchen. The fryer has a two-year limited warranty. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love my FryDaddy
I should have bought this years ago. Yeah, it splatters some, but so does using a frying pan. I find that if I put frozen foods (french fries, etc.) in a collander and rinse the ice crystals off with hot water a few minutes before I put them in the hot oil, they don't splatter as much.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best and easiest!!!
I got this fry daddy for my mother...she just remodeled her kitchen and she has always used a fry daddy. The last one she had worked for her for more than 15 years...she swears by it.It the easiest thing to work, just plug it in and it does everything itself. It's easy to handle and it's never let us down!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great wedding present!
It was on sale, it showed up on time, they loved it.

3-0 out of 5 stars This was a wedding gift purchase
This was not a purchase for myself, it was for a wedding gift that Macy's did not have in stock, so I honestly cannot rate the item, but I can say that it got to my house in the time frame stated.

4-0 out of 5 stars MMMMMM Waffles
I bought this as a Valentine's Day gift and it is great. The only issue is that the handle gets a bit hot. It is really non-stick, the color code works great for telling you when the waffles are done. The waffles do break apart into the heart shaped pieces as soon as you take it out of the maker, so bigger waffles are not too easy to make. It cleans up really fast except for batter and crumbs being stuck in the hinge area. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for College
My suitemate owns an older version of this product. I'm going to buy one at Wal-Mart when I get the chance because I'm addicted to this device. It's compact, quick, and really easy to use for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, Ramen, you name it! I recommend this product for anyone living in a dorm room!

5-0 out of 5 stars Boils water faster than a gas stove!
I got this at Wally Mart for less than 14 bucks. It is great for boiling water for 1 or 2 cups of tea or coffee. It works alot faster than a tea kettle on a modern gas stove! (It also replaced a Braun electric water kettle that leaked water & cost alot more than the Sunbeam Hotshot!)

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice and fast, wish it were taller
I like it a lot, especially the speed -- there's no need to walk away and come back when the water's boiling. The only drawback is that although it's plenty big enough for a normal mug, some of my taller ones don't fit. ... Read more

Editorial Review

For those who cook large quantities of food for storage, FoodSaver vacuum packaging systems offer excellent protection against food spoilage and freezer burn. This jar sealer attachment fits on pint- and quart-sized Mason jars and is for use with any FoodSaver machine that has an accessory port. The lid forms a tight seal on Mason jars while tubing (sold separately) inserts through the top and removes air from the jar with the help of a FoodSaver machine. The jar sealer works equally as well in packaging liquid foods, such as jams, sauces, or mustard, as it does for dry goods, such as brown sugar or spices. The sealer can even re-seal the same container multiple times (in case someone keeps dipping into the stored jars of raspberry jam). Vacuum packaging with this lid can keep food fresh three to five times longer than keeping it in a plastic food storage container in the refrigerator; however, it is a different process from canning and should not be confused with traditional canning methods. Features

  • Compatible with FoodSaver vacuum packaging systems
  • Lid fits all pint- and quart-sized Mason jars
  • Seals in freshness for 5 times longer shelf life
  • Great for sealing sauces, jams, liquids, and dry goods
  • Re-vacuums jars easily

5-0 out of 5 stars WORKS GREAT IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT
This jar sealer is a necessity if you have a Foodsaver!Much cheaper than using those expensive canisters and it keeps your food fresh! There's nothing better than opening a jar and hearing the whoosh of air going in!Lets you know it's fresh! For all of those reviewers who had problems with it sealing, I have a tip that should eliminate those sealing problems. When you seal the jar put TWO mason lids on top, one on top of the other. Then seal the jar.The top lid should pop right off and the bottom lid will be vacuumed tight and secure! (If the top lid doesn't come off right away, just give it a few hours and it will come loose.)Not sure why it works this way, but it does! For those jars that you seal for longer than a week I would recommend checking the seal every once and a while.I have had a jar lose it's vacuum a time a two. BUT a great majority of the time it remains sealed.Highly recommend!

1-0 out of 5 stars Ineffective
I had hoped to use this with Mason jars to greatly expand my available vacuum storage for crushable/bulk items, without paying the high price for the containers. But it doesn't actually work, even when you think it does.

1-0 out of 5 stars $100 Down the Krupper
I bought this on a friend's recommendation that Krups makes good products. This was apparently not one of them. It will make espresso - sometimes. The power is on, the indicator is lit, but nothing happens. Sometimes if I fiddle with it for 10-15 minutes, it will mysteriously come on. This morning I didn't have time for that so I gently placed it in the trash and went to a coffee shop. For $100 I could have gone to that coffee shop 25 times, which is more than I got out of this piece.
4-0 out of 5 stars Fine coffee and espresso maker
We replaced a Krups espresso machine and seperate coffee maker with this machine. Both had served us well, and so far, this one has as well.It is a rather large unit, deep, and sticks out quite far on the counter. That is my only, minor, complaint.Coffee and espresso both are great with the machine.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great coffemaker for the price
I love this coffeemaker. It is quiet while it brews and takes only a few minutes to make an entire pot.I don't use the cappacino portion too often, but I like having only one machine on my counter instead of a coffemaker AND a cappacino machine. This is a very nice product.I would highly recommend it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars don't buy a rival type-low, med., high setting cooker
Having used and worn out a West Bend slow cooker that I received 30 years ago, I shopped locally for a new one, and, being unable to find one, bought a Rival 3 heat setting crock. Is is a crock, as you cannot slow cook at normal low heat levels, it cooks to hot and fast. Finally, located the cooker I want here, with the variable heat setting, and I'm back in business. Local stores are loaded with worthless cookers. If you really want to "slow cook", buy one of these West Bend cookers, there is nothing else like it that I've been able to find.

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally, a slow cooker that actually cooks slowly!
I read many reviews before I purchased this, as we have a Rival crockpot that cooks way too fast even on low. I discovered that many of the Rivals simply control the temperature by cooking on the high setting and turning off occasionally to let it cool for the "low" setting. The problem is that they don't always turn off long enough to slow the cooking.
5-0 out of 5 stars West Bend 84755 5-Quart Oblong Slow Cooker, White
Superb product. This is an newer model of a West Bend slow cooker that I had used for years to slow cook roasts. It is slightly larger than the older modeland is greatly improved by having a glass lid. It is my favorite cooking utensil.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Iced Coffee
I have been using the Toddy Maker over 10 years, after I moved south for awhile.I was introduced to iced coffee and the cold brew method by a friend in Grad School.I have been hooked ever since. It is very simple to use and tastes much fresher than the concentrates you can by in the grocery.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great coffee but tepid
This system easy to use, produces outstanding if not superior coffee.I give it 4 stars because I cannot take this great coffe with me in a thermos. It's an inherent characteristic. The recommended procedure is to combine 1/3 uber coffee (what the Toddy system produces) with 2/3 hot water.I agree this produces a wonderful cup of coffee. However, 1/3 refrigerated liquid and 2/3 just off the boil water produces a tepid product that is great if you want to drink it now but is too cool to spend half a day in a thermos.Again though, one great cup of coffee.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Coffee EVER
I had switched to tea because I could no longer tolerate regular brewed coffee. The acid was tearing up my stomach.A friend suggested Toddy because of low acid content.I was hooked immediately.Once you try it you will never be able to stand a brewed cup of "acid" again. The coffee tastes great no matter how many times you reheat it. The best cup of coffee you will ever drink! ... Read more

Editorial Review

When the aroma of freshly brewed coffee--from freshly ground beans--wafts into your bedroom in the morning, you won't need your alarm clock. Preset this coffeemaker for your desired wake-up time, add coffee beans to the grinder, and in the morning the beans are ground to a medium grind and hot coffee awaits in the 10-cup stainless steel, double-wall insulated thermal carafe. You can also program the machine to start brewing at the end of a dinner party to avoid having to get up from the table, or to have hot coffee waiting after a brisk winter walk. When making fewer than five cups of coffee, use the 1-to-4-cups setting to improve extraction and heat; coffeemakers without this setting often lack the time to heat up properly, and coffee comes out cooler. A disposable charcoal filter removes chlorine and odors from tap water, improving coffee flavor, and should be changed every few months. Other features include a gold-tone commercial-style filter (or use No. 4 basket-style paper filters); capacity to use preground coffee instead of beans; 30-second Brew Pause, which allows a cup be poured before brewing is complete; and an audible tone to indicate the pot is ready. The grinder removes for easy cleaning, and all removable parts can be washed safely in the upper rack of a dishwasher. The Cuisinart Grind and Brew measures 15 by 8 by 7-1/2 inches, and comes with a three-year warranty. Read more

Worst coffee maker I have ever owned. Can't measure water in pot.Have to press buttons for every pot up to 4 cups and another button if don't want to use grind and brew. But worst part is that I have had trouble with it since the get go.It is supposed to be factory reconditioned but after 3 months has a mind of its' own.I got mine from Smart Bargains who told me I had no recourse other than to contact Cuisinart.Guess I learned not to buy reconditioned or from Smart Bargains!

3-0 out of 5 stars Cuisinart DGB-600BC: Cleaning is a drawback
Regarding the Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew -- great idea at first, but a troublesome item to keep clean. It is a lot simpler to merely use the common separate coffee grinder and a more conventional coffee pots because what you gain from the convenience of "grind and brew" you loose in cleaning out all the finely ground coffee that seems to be able to collect in the oddest places. I am an engineer, age 82, and it seems to me that a little research on the upkeep required to clean out all the places where the fine coffee grounds collect should have resulted in a product that is less frustrating. The fact that the grinder part and the coffee basket come out for "easy" cleaning sounds okay but wait until you find all the corners where it takes a brush (provided) to rake loose the sticky grounds that running water will not take away. Then, there is the impossible problem of cleaning out the accummulation of finely ground coffee grounds from the parts that do not disassemble. Daily maintence of a separate coffee grinder and coffee maker involves much less time to keep clean of stray coffee grounds.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great coffee
This coffeemaker is well worth the money and the time spent on a bit of extra cleanup every day.It makes great, consistent coffee. It keeps it warm for a really long time.Get some Weiman Stainless Steel wipes and keep the outside looking great.Yes, you do have to wash and dry the interior components each day, but I think it's worth it.You can do everything at night before you go to bed, set the timer, and wake up to great coffee. The only issue I have is that it only makes 10 cups.Oh, and the grinder is pretty loud. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Lovin' it!
I really like the electric skillet. It cooks evenly and is easily cleaned. There are 7 of us in our family, and I use it to cook bacon and eggs, french toast, pancakes, fried potatoes, fried chicken and much more! It is the perfect size for those with large families. We also take it camping with us, and it great for grilled sandwiches, heating up tortillas, or just about anything. I hope it lasts a long, long time!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Big
I love it but it is very big.It is too wide for the cupboard I intended on storing it in.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Skillet!
I have cooked with electric skillets for over 40 yrs, and I have to say this is the best skillet by far I have used. Its over sized and very deep. I noticed some are saying its for large families, but if you're frying something you don't want to crowd the food, or it steams instead of fries. Also, the non-stick surface is really top grade. I highly recommend this product. ... Read more

Editorial Review

With its programmable clock, this versatile coffeemaker not only has hot java waiting in the morning but can brew the coffee directly into either the 10-cup, glass-lined carafe, or one or both of the Thermos-brand travel mugs. Hamilton Beach makes the brewing process easy: a guide inside the water reservoir features mug symbols for the precise amount of water to add, and scalloped ridges on the coffeemaker base indicate exactly where to position the mugs. Care should be taken to ensure the coffeemaker is resting on a level surface, since a slight tilt could result in uneven distribution when both mugs are used simultaneously. A mug is placed under the brew basket with its lid screwed on tightly--a 360-degree ring of holes around the mug lid allows the coffee to enter during brewing. In addition, the holes enable the user to drink from any side, whether the handle is grasped by the left or right hand, a convenience that many car cup holders overlook.Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars You can have mine!
This is the most disappointing coffeemaker I have ever owned! First off, I like my coffee a bit stronger, and it can barely accomodate the extra grounds.Second,it spits and sprews and steams like it's working for all it's worth. Third, the coffee never tastes good. It always has a bitter quality to it. The water runs in too fast I think. I called Hamilton Beach because all it did was steam one month after I bought it. They sent me a chemical to run through it; said it was probably clogged. This BTW was even after I ran the vinegar treatment through it 3 times in the first month. I have since retired this unit that cost me $45.00 new. I am using a little 4 cup Black & Decker that cost $12.00 and I am much happier. Anyone want my Hamilton Beach? I'll sell it cheap!

1-0 out of 5 stars Hamilton Beach Thermal Carafe coffee tastes bad
I recently purchaseda Hamilton Beach Thermal Carafe coffee maker. The coffee has a chemical aftertaste-it tastes like new plastic. In addition, the coffee is very weak- as it brews, it pours through the filter at one speed (rapid). I have seen other models make stronger coffee with a setting- made by the user - to control the rate of water flow through the filter.

3-0 out of 5 stars Beware of false "free shipping" claims
I just purchased this item on line and it showed "free shipping" and no tax. When I got my confirmation they are charging me $26.46 for shipping which was the highest price of anyone on line.I could have purchased it at Bed, Bath and Beyond with a 20% coupon on there price of $69.89.I have contacted Amazon and I am waiting to see how they handle this. This was very upsetting to see the confirmation email come in. I used the 1-click ordering system which does not show you a confirmation on screen but emails you one.I would avoid this option if I were you. ... Read more

I'm here purchasing the third carafe for my coffee maker. This carafe is nice to look at but extremely fragile!

5-0 out of 5 stars replacement carafe
The carafe was a perfect replacement for the one that I broke.

3-0 out of 5 stars Krups Rplacement Espresso Carafe
Product was good. Shipping was safe and fast. I was glad to be able to find a replacement carafe for my particular model of espresso maker. The one problem I have is that the lid I had from the orginal espresso carafe is not a good fit with the replacement carafe. I have to remove the lid to poor the espresso out of the carafe. I would have ordered the lid also if I had known the original lid would not fit.

4-0 out of 5 stars Love My Krups!
We love the Krups machine becuase it makes both types of coffee. It's extremely easy to use, I've had no issues with it. Only real complaint is the cost to replace the espresso carafe. I also wish the coffee door where the coffee filter goes was removable for easy cleaning. Other than that we love ours! Buying one for my daughter.

3-0 out of 5 stars Replacement carafe
I purchased this carafe to replace one for the Krups 1500 coffee/espresso machine which I received for Christmas.I believe it will work, but the handle is attached with a screw which looks like it requires a star shaped screwdriver.I cannot find a screwdriver with a long enough shaft to fit in the handle and undo the band to replace it with the handle and lid which was on the original carafe. Will have to cut off the handle, I believe. ... Editorial Review

This unusual rotating waffle maker is sure to elicit admiration from brunch guests. Made of brushed stainless steel with black accents, the unit not only looks elegant but cooks professionally. After ladling the batter into the deep nonstick bottom plate, the top is firmly closed. After ten seconds, by means of the insulated handle, the waffle maker is rotated upside down and allowed to cook for the remainder of the required time (recipes and times are included in the user guide). The result: two perfect 1-1/4-inch-thick Belgium waffles, crisp on the outside, moist on the inside. A dial features variable browning settings, and two lights indicate when the waffle maker is on and when to add batter. Two curved fixed legs keep the maker upright and a drip tray fits between them to collect any batter overflow. A release button on the handle allows it to collapse for storage. Measuring 7-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches, the cook plates can be wiped clean or conveniently removed and placed in the dishwasher. With the handle collapsed, the waffle maker measures 13 by 8-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches and is covered by a one-year warranty. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Waffles!!
I was very pleased with this waffle iron. To my surprize, the waffles did Not stick to the grills and every waffle came out perfect every time! Infact, just as a test, I made a waffle without any oil or whatever, and it came out great! I also like the unique way the iron rotates and how fast the waffles cook. Clean-up was a breeze as well. For me, this product is worth the price! I only regret not purchasing it the first time around. I had previously purchased another brand of waffle iron.... and what a complete waste of money it was. I have never used Krups products before, but if they make all of their products as well as they make waffle irons, they've got my vote! Thank you for making a such a great product. I am so glad that I purchased this item. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Editorial Review

Called the BrewStation because there is no "pot" involved, this 12-cup countertop unit from Hamilton Beach keeps coffee hot and fresh until you’re ready for a cup. The enclosed brewing system only dispenses coffee when you depress the trigger with your mug--otherwise, the coffee stays inside, where it's kept hot and flavorful. Mid-brew dispensing makes the appliance handy for anybody in a hurry, and a translucent indicator shows you the liquid level at a glance. An internal warming heater and double-wall thermal insulation maintain brew temperature and freshness, so there’s no hot plate to scorch coffee or make it bitter. Operation is similar to other electric makers, and the entire brew tank removes for easy cleaning. A clock and timer let you set the coffeemaker in advance, and an automatic safety mechanism cuts power after two hours. Other helpful details include a power indicator light, a drip tray, and a water filter. The station measures 10 by 10-1/2 and needs 14 inches of under-the-cupboard clearance. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I love, love , love it !
Ive had mine for about 3 yearsnow . I bought it when it first came out and its still in perfect working order. I just love it ! The coffee tastes great and the ease of use is incredible. I will never go back to a conventional coffee pot ....ever !

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Tasting, Great Looking, Great Price
This is definitely not your conventional coffee maker. It is pretty to the eyes, but most of all, it tastes absolutely wonderful! The coffee served from this maker could easily be passed as a Starbucks brew.I was convinced to buy this when I sawand tasted it at a neighbor's house. She then said it was reasonably priced as well. After checking online at all the sites available, Amazon's of course beat all other prices. This truly is a great buy.Besides the marvelous taste that all comment on, it is the perfect alternative for coffee drinkers who are not morning people.Because it can be programmed to start brewing, shuts off after two hours, and you can get your coffee while it is still brewing, we morning rushers can still have our favorite coffee that gives that needed kick. The only complaint is the lack of clarity in the cleaning directions that came with the coffee maker. This was not impossible though and overcoming the confusing and inadequate technical writing is well worth it.

3-0 out of 5 stars A matter of taste...
This is a nice idea and a nice looking unit, but the taste of the brew is noticeably different from what I get from my old unit with a glass carafe. I think the glass is the key. This unit brews into a plastic resevoir, and it seems that the plastic imparts some taste to the coffee.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great rice but you'll have to be patient
I had a cheap rice cooker which I used several times a month, but one night while scraping the stuck-on rice off the aluminum pan I promised myself I'd splurge and get a nicer cooker with a non-stick pan.I browsed the Amazon pages and read the glowing reviews here and bought this machine. We've had it about 3 months now and it does indeed make great rice.We make meals for 2 people so the size is perfect. It's small and light, and with the retractable cord it's easy to store under the counter.
5-0 out of 5 stars Zojirushi Rice Cooker is a 5 star machine.
This rice cooker makes perfect rice every time so far. I have had it only for a month now but it is great! Perfect size, attractive appliance, the cord retracts into the unit, I can't think of any changes that I would make. Would definitely recommend this unit!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best thing that happend to rice making in like 100 years
I had previously barrowed this contraption from some close friends I loved it so much I tryed buying it from them since the item held personal value to them they were un willing to budge, so one day I started to use my nugget and decided if the rice maker eventually needed to be returned my world would turn up side down, it just seems as though cookig rice over the stove is a chore instead of something that easy, now I know that sounds lazy but this rice maker is the easyist to make white rice(or that just what I use mine for anyway)sure I cook spanish rice differently in a cast iron pan but white rice is alot of what my husband and I eat anyway. So I ordered my rice cook on July 4th I told my hubbie it would be an awesome birthday gift, it was delivered by July 11 and the perfect white rice and contiuned flowing in my apartment ever since, it's easy and quick I work 10 hrs and my husband the same maybe even 12 on a busy night I come home for lunch and make 2 cups, I love rice so it's practally my dinner alone, but it feeds both my husband and I when we are plumb beat from working. this if the fluffiest most tender white rice I ever made, I would suggest this product to anyone who was serious about making good rice, Danielle Scott ...
