another apple slicer
You may have recalled a previous apple slicer review of mine.I enjoy them so much I can't help but review another one.It's just a lot of fun taking an apple and slicing it into eight handy and adorable little slices.Whether you use green apples, red apples, Granny Smith, whatever.This slicer will deliciously make eating apples exciting.If you're a child you can even enjoy eating healthy foods by using this product.The apple will taste better, believe me.You won't have to mess around with no silly core.Just don't go around shopping online without your parents permission.

Good with a major flaw
This devise cores and divides apples with no problem but it is a pain to clean.Where the metal folds over itself in several places there is a gap that collects bits of apple.Cleaning it with a toothpick every time I use it is a pain. Flushing it under the tap doesn't do it.

This is an outstanding device. in several I've had before the cutter blades were not fastened to the center piece. They would flex as the coring progressed and the slices would be rendered a mess. Corroding ring
Not only does the cap not seal, but once the rubber sealing ring that surrounds the cap rips and corrodes off, as it did on mine after 2 months, then the only thing the shaker is good for is measuring recipes. I had to find a new bottle to store the dressing in, and the MIU Dressing Shaker is now collecting dust in my cupboard.

Unsatisfied
There are helpful recipes on the bottle, however the stopper is not secure. I do not feel safe storing fresh made salad dressing in my refridgerator in this bottle.

Lid/top needs improvement.
I agree with the other review that the top is hard to seat correctly and becomes almost impossible once any oil from the dressing gets on the soft seal. I bought this to replace the Good Seasons cruet which I felt also always had a less than perfect sealing cap. Otherwise, love the polycarbonate bottle. ... Read more

A nice idea, but ...
... after using my apple slicer for about one year, the plastic has begun to crack.And the slicer could, indeed, be larger.I am now searching for a durable all-metal slicer.

Handy tool
This is a great pair for the kitchen. Another fine product from the Oxo people, with their very comfortable and large grips. Why not a 5-star rating? The apple slicer could be larger. It's great for your average size apple, but don't try to use it on a large pear or apple. Otherwise, they are excellent tools for the kitchen.

Not terrible
These tongs are OK but they really do not have a solid feel to them. I get the impression that after some use that the bend is going to suffer metal fatigue and will eventually break.I'd opt for a tong with a hinge mechanism if I had it to do over.

Great multi-purpose tongs
I have had many tongs over the years but this is the best. It is simple yet elegant and can handle just about anything.We have used it for salads, steaks, chicken, etc. and the feel of the tongs are very sturdy.I would highly recommend this item.
