Good product for the price!
This is a good pan for the price!I wanted to give our daughters something to start with in this type of cookware, but thought Le Creuset a tad too expensive.I liked it enough to add one to my collection of cookware too!My only complaint...there are no instructions for care and usage included and no warranty or manufacturer information anywhere.Amazon has been useless in helping me find the information I need, BTW.Still, for $50 this is a good pan to get! ... Emile Henry is my favorite.
This is one of the best Emile Henry pieces I own. For many years I've used this generously sized roasting dish for chicken, roasts, vegetables and lasagnas and to this day I am amazed with how good my recipes turn out.It's outstanding in the way it conducts and retains heat and is so easy to clean. There's nothing quite like having Emile Henry bakeware in my kitchen. My recipes taste better and my table settings look beautiful. I've replaced every glass and ceramic baking piece I've ever owned with Emile Henry and look forward to adding more pieces to my collection

Very disappointed
After only a few uses I put this roaster in the oven (from room temperature) at 400F with food in it to cook for Thanksgiving. After about 5 minutes we heard a VERY loud pop. The dish broke exactly in half and created a huge mess in the oven. My guess is that it was a flawed dish, but after 8 months of e-mailing and calling the company and getting no response, I am giving up. I won't buy Emile Henry items again based off of this experience and their lack of response. ... Read more
