My very firstpercolator
I love this percolator which I purchased from Amazon.I emailed the company that makes this Bialetti Amerikana percolator and they were very helpful to me in instructing me on how to use the percolator.I have always used a drip coffeemaker and I feel that the percolator coffee makes the house smell like you are really making coffee. Even though it takes longer to heat up because it is make of 18/10 stainless steel, the end result is very good in my opinion.The percolator coffeemaker brings back fond memories of my grandmother's house in Canarsie, Brooklyn.

I love my kettle
I recently purchased the Breville Cordless Kettle and I could not be more pleased with it. I have only used it for a little over a week, but I use it almost constantly. I have just begun to develop an interest in brewing teas and this kettle is fabulous.

Great for a crowd
This is a GREAT coffee maker!I often have large crowds and making coffee once is a pleasure.Also like the way you can choose the temp you want your coffee kept at.

Delonghi DCU62 Deluxe 60 Cup Coffee Urn quit working.
The coffee urn is less than 2 years old and has been used less than 2 dozen times.In contrast, my Farberware 55-cup urn is 20 years old, has been used over 200 times, and is still going strong.)
A Must for Entertaining
I bought this urn to complement a West Bend urn I already owned so I could have urns for both decaf and regular coffee when I entertain. Now I wish I had two of the DeLonghi. The clear tube outside shows the water/coffee level, and the interior basket is marked so you don't have to measure the grounds before filling. Two lights, red and green, indicate when the coffee is perking and when it is ready for serving. Even unplugged after brewing, the coffee is kept hot for hours. Easy to clean and high-tech looking with its stainless steel and black exterior, this urn makes a great addition when entertaining large groups of people. (Perked coffee takes longer to brew than drip, so start the brewing a half hour or more before the coffee is needed; this urn brews quicker than does my West Bend, but it still takes time.)
