Combining two tools in one, this gadget cuts a pizza and then serves the slices. The innovative design places the handle in the middle and has a circular rolling blade on one end for slicing. The other end features a 5-inch triangular-shaped server. While the premise of this tool is very clever, it can be a little unsafe: the open pizza cutting blade ends up facing the host's body as she uses the server end and there is no safety cover included to protect against injury. Additionally, the server may prove to be too narrow for serving up more substantial slices of pizza. The entire piece, handle and all, is made of polished 18/10 stainless steel, which is dishwasher-safe. Great but not essential.
Not many people can rationalize spending twenty dollars on a pizza cutter, but I previously worked at a pizzeria and often make gourmet pizzas at home. This cutter is sharp and rarely requires multiple cuts to slice through all of the crust. It is really useful on those thick pizzas, like spinach and feta. Plus it looks pretty cool hanging on the wall behind your cutting board. I almost never use it for any non-pizza cooking, and a heavy, sharp knife works almost as well. However, it's a fun item, and if you find yourself looking for a nice gift for somebody who makes a lot of pizza, I definitely recommend it. ... Read more

Really solid, well made, a joy to use
This pizza cutter will be the last one you'll ever need if you treat it well.The design is deceptively simple - it's just a pizza cutter - right?Well, I've used mine for pastry, pasta, and other doughs.It screams through the thickess or thiness pizza crust - actually cutting the crust rather than just hacking at it like some less well made models.My only warning - keep your fingers out of the way!
