5-0 out of 5 stars All around excellent oven
I purchased this oven to replace my toaster and to use in place of my large convection oven for daily cooking. So far I have made lamb, steak, and BBQ chicken. All of the meats came out beautifully cooked and moist and tender on the inside. I broil the meats following the cooking times in the Betty Crocker's New Cookbook. Additionally, I made a bagel, which I put sliced side up, increased the darkness by two levels, and used the bagel feature. It came out perfectly and evenly golden brown, better than my previous Russell Hobbs toaster. I do agree with other reviewers that it would be nice to have the option to have it turn off when the timer runs out.Overall, highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars LOL at the bad toaster comments
Doesn't anybody remember the good ole days of using a toaster oven? They're not SUPPOSED to toast on both sides! I'm sorry, but I'm laughing out loud at the folks who've posted comments about this toaster oven not being good because it doesn't toast on both sides. This is a "toaster oven", not a "toaster". Hello!? If you want your toast toasted on both sides, then buy a toaster. lol. What a toaster oven does, is toast the top of things, and it warms things like frozen pizzas, pot pies, casseroles, etc. I've never actually baked anything in one, so can't comment on its baking ability. But this is a good toaster oven...if you use it for its intended purpose. :)

5-0 out of 5 stars I absolutely LOVE this
I'm single and live in a small apartment. I don't like to crank up the oven because preheating takes a good 10-15 minutes, and cooldown just as long. And then there's the fact that it heats up the entire place. Not fun in summer in the South!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Value!
Great little toaster ... especially for the price. Manufacturer seems to have fixed tipping problem by adding another foot to the front of the unit. Mine never tips over, even when pushing down with great force.

5-0 out of 5 stars Recommended
This toaster is easy to use and toasts very well small and medium slices. I haven't had any issues with it and I think that it is very well designed and manufactured. Overall it is one of the products that I often use and the result is very good. Recommended.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice for the price
This is a nice toaster for the price. There are three things I don't like about it.1.It doesn't toast wide slices of bread easily. 2. It has no crumb tray; you just have to dump the built-up crumbs. 3. It's hard to get the toast out--probably because of the type of bread I use. I'm a specialty bread user; I buy the Old World type breads rather than the mechanized American variety. However, the toaster toasts evenly and I really didn't see a different toaster that I wanted to buy at this time. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Very pleased
I am very pleased with this Convection Oven.It cooks fast and thorough and I enjoy the warmer feature.Toasting also works very well. The only negative comment I have is the cleaning of the warmer part is a bit challenging, but this is a minimal inconvenience.Overall, I would definitley recommend this to anyone looking for a qualtiy Toaster Oven.

    5-0 out of 5 stars 1/2 Toaster, 1/2 Oven
Very good buy for $85 +free ship. Bought this one to replace a smaller Black & Decker toaster oven that served us very well over 5-6 years until controls gave out (the B&D still works, just have to keep the button pressed in).
2-0 out of 5 stars Good oven, but controls gave out
We like the features and performance of this oven quite a bit.We bought it to replace a regular old toaster oven. The T-Fal toasts very evenly and I can fit a whole frozen pizza in it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted and MORE
After reading all the reviews, doing research, and agonizing over whether to buy this model or not, I took the plunge - and I am glad I did. I love this toaster. I've experienced none of the problems that I have read about in these reviews. In spite of its size (not that bad actually) and lack of color choices, I would buy this model all over again.
1-0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed
This is my first review ever on Amazon.Everyone (five members)in my family does not like this toaster.
3-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't quite do the job!
I did all this research to find a great toaster. I have been disappointed in most toasters I have owned. I thought Krups FEP4B would be the one. However this toaster falls short. It looks great, it is very attractive on the counter, guests always remark on how cool the toaster looks.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not happy with this toaster - many problems
Received this toaster as a Christmas present in 2004.From day one I was not very happy with it.The knobs and temperature control are difficult to use - sometimes it would bake good, other times it would not.About 6 months ago I noticed the numbers were rubbed off of the timer dial.About 3 months ago the timer dial became loose and it was difficult to set the time.Today the timer dial broke off completely. So I got about a year and a half of poor use out of it.So, don't purchase this product, it is not worth it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Anyone know where I can get a new knob??
I agree with most reviews that the toast function sucks.Although I haven't noticed one side being hotter than the other, a portion of my timer knob chipped and now I have to use a screwdriver to set the time.I've also has a very difficult time toasting nuts! They always get burnt.

1-0 out of 5 stars On fire
Our toastmaster oven caught fire over the weekend. We were lucky that the toaster oven was the only casualty.Of course there was also the mess to clean up after the use of the fire extinguisher. It could have been disastrous.I think we only had the toaster oven for barely 6 months.I will not be buying this model again. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible Product
This toaster is very cheaply made.It reaks of burining plastic whenever you use it.DO NOT BUY!

5-0 out of 5 stars So convenient & idiot-proof; my favorite kitchen appliance!
I was a bit skeptical when I read all the rave reviews for this toaster. All 100+ reviews sounded too good to be true. But the reviewers weren't lying.I don't know how to cook anything other than instant noodles & microwave dinners. But I managed to use this toaster to make my own "Egg McMuffin" in just a few minutes! You can't imagine the self-satisfaction I got from that. I couldn't even make an egg before without difficulty, but now I can easily accomplish that with this toaster. I'm also not much of a housekeeper, but cleaning up was a breeze. Just wash the 3 small trays and wipe the heating/water tray with a paper towel soaked in some white vinegar. I would have to waste a lot more time & wash a lot more stuff to make the same thing without this toaster, not to mention I don't actually have the skills to make it without this thing.
1-0 out of 5 stars Good idea, bad execution
I think this is a great idea HOWEVER, please be forewarned -

1-0 out of 5 stars Liked the product...HATED the reliability!!!!!
I'm currently in the market for a toaster oven to replace this one.We went through three in less than 2 years. The first one broke within a couple of weeks and we took in back to the store. The second one broke within six months and we sent it back to the manufacturer (think it cost us $10 to fix). Now the third one broke and we are looking for another manufacturer.

5-0 out of 5 stars What did I do without a toaster oven?
Since I got this wonderful toaster oven a year ago, my big gas oven has gotten very lonely. This little gem cooks and bakes well, makes great toast, reheats great, all without heating up the kitchen. Getting a toaster oven-sized Silpat baking sheet made it even better. Get this! You'll be asking yourself like I have "What did I do without a toaster oven?"

4-0 out of 5 stars Great oven just ok toaster
Great basic oven for heating and cooking. The convection feature really is a nice addition especially if you have a large regular oven and do not want to turn it on for smaller bakes. The toaster function requires almost always using the highest setting when doing any whole grain products-often you have to add additional time not nearly as good as a basic toaster oven. ... Editorial Review

When set on low for all-day simmering, this cooker from the makers of the original Crock Pot slowly tenderizes meat, turning even budget cuts into juicy meals. A modest 3-1/2-quart size, the oval-shaped crock holds enough chicken, beef, stew or soup for two to three people. The temperature knob has three settings: off, low, and high. The crock, which lifts from the base for cleaning, features a rinse-clean, lifetime stick-resistant coating. As long as extreme changes in temperature are avoided, such as placing in cold water when hot, the crock should give years of service. Both the crock and lid are dishwasher-safe. A one-year warranty covers this slow cooker from defects. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great slow cooker
I bought this smaller crock pot as I also have a 6 quart Crock Pot and sometimes the 6 quart is too big for some of my recipes. It works great and cleans up very easily. I think the removable stoneware was one of the best things they have done to improve the Crock Pot. I am a loyal Rival customer and have always been pleased with their products.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for lentils and Indian dhal cooking
This is very good for Indian dhals and lentil cooking. With pressure cookers, there are spilling and foaming problems when you cook Indian dhals, and the kitchen needs to be cleaned constantly. The slow cooker does not have that probelm.
5-0 out of 5 stars Very useful kitchen appliance
I bought a large slow cooker from amazon and ordered this smallermodel about a week later -- it's a handy size for smaller dishes. It's an ideal design. And it turns out incredible oatmeal! Among many other dishes. It's the perfect size for a three- or four-pound chicken.

5-0 out of 5 stars a toaster that works
After reading about this toaster in the Wall Street Journal, I just had to give it a try.I've had several toasters over the years that never really made that perfect piece of toast. This one is truely the cadillac of toasters and I finally get my perfect toast.

4-0 out of 5 stars so far, so good
Have owned it now for 3 weeks with no problem. My last toaster from a different manufacturer stopped working on one side after 2 weeks. Best part is the lever which raises the hot bread up so you can reach it easier. I like toast dark, and most controls even at the extreme dark setting leave toast only slightly dark. The 10 setting on this really toasts dark.

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor performance
After thoroughly checking toaster reviews and ratings (this got top ratings), I had to return it after several attempts to get it to produce evenly toasted bread.Very disappointing; my old Toastmaster (much less expensive) does better. ... Read more

This toaster at the lowest setting of 1 burns my toast. It also burned one side of a frozen bagel when I put it on defrost.
5-0 out of 5 stars Terrific Toaster!
We love our shiny white Cuisinart Toaster. It's definitely worth the [...] we spent -- a real bargain! We love that it toasts so much quicker and more evenly than the toaster oven we've been tolerating for the past several years. One minor drawback: my husband called me in to show me how the rye bread he was toasting was just a little too long for the slots. We don't see this as a huge deal, though. The bagel and defrost settings are great.I especially like the cool-touch feature -- no one gets burned if they need to handle this toaster immediately after using it.
4-0 out of 5 stars NICE TOASTER
This toaster is great. The cord is a normal length and can be placed out the back or the side. The bottom has a cord wrap to store it. When its plugged in, the number on he dial is always lit. 5-0 out of 5 stars Does what it's supposed to do and looks good doing it.
I bought this oven primarily for toast and light baking (potatos, frozen entres, etc.) but it has been deceptively versatile once you catch on to it's capabilities.Just about anything that can be baked or gratineed in a full size oven can be handled in smaller serving sizes in the Sanyo Convection Oven.
4-0 out of 5 stars Sleek little oven
I bought this as a replacement for my old DeLonghi convection which my daughter was taking off to college. It toasts fine, and I would have given it 5 stars xcept that Sanyo decided to call it digital. Yes, it has a touchpad for 1, 2, or more slices of toast, but what's that about???? This is not a microwave, so the toasting should not be quantity-dependent; why not just have us toast longer? There is also a touchpad for temperature which is calibrated not in 50 degree increments as are our reg ovens, etc, but instead at such odd temps as 180-250-320-400-470; maybe the boxes of frozen food say different things in Japan? That said, I think I will adapt and be able to use this oven just fine.It is exactly the right size for my counter, prettier than my other one, and the shelf is conveniently attached to the door so the food slides out toward you when you open the door, without burning yourself on the hot shelf!

We had this toaster oven for about 30 days and the half of the heating elements when bad.It never did seem to do a great job toasting. The toaster oven part is small which is ok if you can live with that.I do like the idea of having a toaster and toaster oven in one though!

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst toaster I ever owned
On the highest toast setting, I have to push the lever down at least 4 times to get bread even slightly browned. All it does is heat the bread.I've been unable to cancel toasting, resorting to pulling the plug. The mechanism that holds the bread leaves too much room on the side and the bread falls into the oven. For a toaster that gives off a lot of heat, it unfortunately doesn't direct it at the bread. If I hadn't lost my receipt, I would have returned it immediately.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bought this for my daughter who has limited counter space.
She wanted a toaster oven that didn't take up much room and was surprised when she saw it was nice and compact (and good looking)and that bagels or bread could be toasted in the top slots. That gave her more space because she could put the regular toaster away. It does a very nice job, too. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Unique features in a bad product with lousy service resolution.
I bought a Panasonic toaster oven and I am now planning to return what I have. My first unit worked fine for about 4 months and then the rack mechanism broke followed by the heating element at the bottom. I had to send the unit for repair and then (weeks later) was accused of abusing the unit by the servicer, who then claimed an out of warranty problem and refused to repair it. Weeks later, Panasonic sent me a replacement - but the wrong model; more weeks later, I received the right model but it was damagaed upon unpacking it. It's been three months and I still don't have resolution or a toaster oven, not to mention all the time I've spent on the phone with Panasonic - where some folks are very helpful and some are worthless (outsourcing at its best). I cannot recommend this product and for me, the Panasonic brand is tainted.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good oven - beware warranty pitfalls...
We had had this oven for a couple months when the door would no longer stay shut.I tried jamming a wooden spoon against it to hold it shut while cooking, but found this sort of absurd. So I called Cuisinart for warranty service. They said they'd replace my oven with a new one, but I had to pay to ship the oven to their warehouse in NJ and it would take a few weeks. In the meantime my husband found a set of little magnets at our local craft store, and fixed the problem! So I wasn't going to ship the oven to NJ - until a replacement oven arrived...before I even sent the first one out.Hmmmm.
2-0 out of 5 stars nice toaster unless you want toast
I was given this toaster as a gift.It is a nice looking and does not take up too much counter space. The only problem is that it does not toast english muffins crisp. The bottom element does not get especially hot and after calling Cuisinart I discovered the instructions were incorrect. You must turn the rack so it is closest to the bottom burner. After trying this for a few days and remaining unsatisfied, I returned the toaster and pull out my old Delonghi.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great oven, bad shipping
It's a fantastic toaster oven!I've used it to toast and bake, and everything comes out great... and so much more convenient than turning on the big oven on a hot summer day, just for cooking a small amount of food.

4-0 out of 5 stars Brown and slow cook in the same pan?
This slow cooker is a step above the rest. You can sauté meat in the pan to brown it on your stove, then add the "slow cook" ingredients and liquid and let it go on the slow cooker base. They claim that you can use the base as a grill, but I've never tried that part.
2-0 out of 5 stars Watch out for that non-stick coating!
I purchased this slow cooker because it has such a good review from flylady.com.
1-0 out of 5 stars temperature settings don't work
Had high hopes for this slow cooker based on Amazon reviews, but based on my first attempt (buffalo stew) this device should be renamed "fast cooker".All four temperature settings resulted in overcooking.Even at the "keep warm" setting the stew continued to boil, so the stew turned into mush.Don't buy it! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars FINALLY A TRUE "SLOW" COOKER
After trying (and returning) several slow cookers which both overcooked the food on low heat, I purchased this West Bend 84765 model.Put together some potatoes, chicken thighs, broccoli, carrots, etc.Left on LOW for 10 hours....vegetables were juicy and flavorsome...chicken was fall-off-the-bone moist. This is the way a slow cooker should cook....everything should turn out tender and juicy. Thanks for all of your opinions on this site, which convinced me to purchase this wonderful slow cooker!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great cooking
I just love my new pot.I can cook, braise, saute and slow cook all in the same pot.I love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great product!
Purchased this slow cooker after my other one bit the dust. This is an EXCELLENT slow cooker--it looks small in the package, but holds more than you think. The teflon coating is perfect for easy cleanup--aluminum container is light to pick up and move (with oven mits). I've not used the bottom as a griddle, but purchased this as a true slow cooker. I've done chili, soups, meats and am very pleased. Watch the temperature controls until you get used to them. The tote is a bonus-easy to store that way and keep it unscratched, but I've not transported anything. I've tried several slow cookers and this is simply the best design and performance. Light, easy to clean, fairly large (mid-size roasts) capacity. You shouldn't be disappointed if you buy one. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars What is the world coming to...???
Why do manufacturers always have to change a good thing?
5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for New Users
I have never owned a crock pot before, so I was a little apprehensive.I did a lot of research and finally settled on this item because of size, price and shape of the unit.I am extremely happy with the product. It is perferct for a first time user - not too complicated, but has eveything you need to make the most basic or more complicated recepies. It did not smell at all on first use (many pots have that reputation). It is very attractive and fits nicely on my countertop. The inner ceremic part is very sturdy and cleans up very easily.I do recommend for first-time users that you purchase one good cookbook (many are carried on Amazon).I purchased several, and my favorite so far is "The Gormet Slow Cooker"I have tried several recepies and they were all perfect.I am converted to crock-pot cooking!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the Money
Very nice unit.Looks and cooks great.Nice size. Can handle just about anything you wish to cook.Thought I would miss having three cooking temps to choose from...only has Low and High, but two are more than enough to do anything required. And do them very well.Have made many different bean soups, rice, stews and a soup with TWO chickens and so on, all cooked to perfection.Happy cooking.... ... Read more

This large microwave oven services the family that is constantly eating on the run but has gourmet tastes that go beyond packaged frozen dinners. While the oven takes up some counter space (measurements are 21-7/8 by 11-15/16 by 19-7/16 inches), much of that space can be attributed to the spacious interior capacity of 1.6 cubic feet, which can fit larger entertainment-sized casserole dishes. The oven operates on a powerful 1,250 watts for quicker cooking and defrosting and has an attractive stainless-steel front and reflective door that looks appropriate in a professional-style kitchen.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Microwave
I recently received this microwave and I must say that it is the best one that I have owned to date. The Turbo-Inverter defrost works amazing. The first piece of chicken I tried to defrost cooked ever so slightly around the edges. The instruction manual says you may need to shield the edges with foil, since I have started doing that it defrosts chicken without cooking it...something that I never thought possible.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great microwave
Just got one of these and it is wonderful. Easy to use, powerful and looks great.
5-0 out of 5 stars Super microwave, even better price
A reviewer below wrote that this microwave is green. It is not, only the protective plastic that also covers the vents is green. Before you use the microwave it is necessary to remove the plastic or the microwave cannot vent properly. It is stainless steel. Its odd timing dial becomes a blessing once you get used to putting in the time by dial rather than punching it in to set. I have had to reduce the power level since it heats so efficiently.Very good, nice looking machine. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Loved it, for a while
I bought this cooker seven months ago, and really liked it.It's quite handsome, and I have no complaints about how it works.I've made many fine meals in it.Sadly, the knob broke a few weeks or a month ago.I glued it back together, but today it broke apart again.I don't think it will take a second gluing any better than the first, so now if I want to use it I have to use pliers or something, and I have to count clicks--which are not as distinct as I'd like--to know quite which setting it's on.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent slow cooker
I'm a big slow cooker fan, and had a huge GE unit, which worked well until the lid broke. I quickly got this Hamilton Beach one from Amazon, and I'm very satisfied. No fancy stuff, just a basic cooker, but it serves that purpose very well. The quantity is just right for a dish for four. And it looks good too, with the exposed steel exterior and black crock. For this price, this is the best I can find.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nice size for single person or small roasts
I am happy with the small size. Most slow cookers are 6 quart. This 4 quart one satisfies my needs while taking up less space.I have only tried it once, and my roast turned out dry, mainly because I need to learn how to make a pot roast!
