KitchenAid's Artisan stand mixer is a substantial piece of equipment: 325 watts of mixing power make child's play of creaming butter, kneading dough, and whipping cream. The kid in you will appreciate how quick and easy it is to mix up a batch of cookie dough. This model comes with three attachments: a flat beater for making batter, meat loaf, and all textures in-between; a wire whip for egg whites, mayonnaise, and more air-infused creations; and a hook for mixing and kneading yeast doughs. All three are solidly constructed and easily secured to the beater shaft with a simple twist. This model also includes a pouring shield for guiding ingredients to their proper destination, and the bowl itself locks tight to the base. Standing about 15 inches high, jutting out a foot, and weighing more than a grown woman's bowling ball, this stand mixer isn't the sort of appliance you'll wipe down and put away. MAKES A GREAT PROP
The main reason I bought this mixer was because I wanted the whole retro-appliance look for my kitchen.I was actually less concerned with how it works.
Absolutely no comparison this is the BEST
My original mixer is almost 12 years old and recently was given to my mom because we received a brand new mixer as a housewarming gift.This is by far the BEST stand mixer on the market.I love the ease with which this product works, it is invaluable in your kitchen.It whips cream in 2 minutes (chill the bowl first), but can also handle heavy dough or batter, like breads, without any strain on it's motor.My 12 year old mixer works exactly like my brand new mixer, and in the 12 years that I've owned the mixer, never ever had a problem with it.No maintenance! You will never regret purchasing this product.

There are already many great reviews of this outstanding product, and all I can really add s : just go ahead and order it.Amazon has the best prices, and if you're debating between the Pro model vs Artisan, you can't go wrong either way.There both plenty powerful and big enough for any home uses.The tilt-head Artisan series is more compact and easier for most people to use, so it will likely be the best choice (the price difference doesn't hurt either).My girlfriend and I became a little too attached with the notion of the Pro model, and it almost made us delay the purchase (until we could afford it).I'm glad we wised up and ordered the Artisan.

A chunky little countertop unit, the Krups ToastSupreme Compact Toaster handles frozen bread, fresh bagels, and browning preferences from light to dark. Though neither the sleekest nor the sturdiest model on the market, the toaster is a fine average-use model with some of the features of higher end machines.

do not buy this toaster
I should have paid more attention to the other negative reviews before buying this piece of junk.After six days, it quit functioning.But by then, I was happy to return it -- the toasting was inconsistent and uneven, much worse than the $12.00 Proctor-Silex I was replacing.How hard can it be to make a toaster that works reliably?Krups apparently has a problem.

Last summer my mom bought me a mini food processor, to augment my full size Cuisinart.I thought to myself, "what a joke".In using it, I became hooked with its convenience and ease of clean up.Just this past winter, a friend gifted me this mid sized Kitchen Aid processor.I put away the small processor and I haven't used the full sized Cuisinart since.This machine is quiet, powerful and so easy to clean; no sharp corners or crevices to trap food.In spite of its smaller size I can whip up a loaf or bread or pizza dough and chop all the toppings.It is esthetically pleasing and functionally flawless.Don't spend any more than you have to for one machine that can do so much! ...
