Expensive but worth it.
I bought my first Alfi carafe 15 years ago after a trip to Europe.All of the hootels we stayed in used them to pour coffee.I liked the way it looked and the waiters assured me it would keep hot liquids hot all day.Well, it does provided that you prefill it with hot water (and then obviosuly dump the water before filling with your beverage).The thing will keep stuff steaming for 7 or 8 hours.If you can afford the freight - it is well worth it. ... So far so good!
I've used the whisk twice since receiving it and have not had any of the problems described by previous reviewers...I suppose time will tell!It whips well and is easy to clean but does seem a bit flimsy.It might be tough to use it to combine a cake or brownie batter but for eggs and liquids it gets the job done.

Excellent tool.
I believe this material is the best when it comes to mixing and preparing food.I love this whisk is so easy to work with. I recommend it.

It'd be nice if it didn't fall apart.
I can see I'm not the only one who's had this problem.The strands of plastic making up the whisk aren't secured into the handle very well (there's a plug forced in there that they slide into).I've "broken" it and fixed it multiple times, including about four times while mixing the last thing I made.Very frustrating.It is a nice size, and a good non-scracth whisk, but not worth the trouble unless you're willing to superglue the plug in when you (inevitably) have to re-build it (which only takes a few seconds once you figure it out). ... My sister and I had first purchased the flat spatulas which we loved for its heat-resistant and durable qualities, so for her birthday, she'd asked for the spoon spatula. Outstanding design; works just as promised
Despite my misgivings caused by the negative review listed here at Amazon, I purchased this grater on the strength of Zyliss' reputation. I found that it is a delight to use. It has an excellent design and works just as promised. Neither of the 2 negatives in the other review were true. Then tension on the spring is just right, and there are no dangerous sharp edges to fear. I highly recommend this grater with no reservations whatsoever. You will be completely satisfied with your purchase.

I purchased this slotted spoon along with several other KitchenAid silicone tools several months ago.This is an extremely large utensil and is generally best suited for use in larger pots and pans. The spoon will hold quite a bit and makes quick work of removing veggies/bones/meat from soup stock. It has proven to be non-marring to my non-stick and enameled cast iron cookware and cleans up well in the dishwasher. ... Read more
