beware the size....
... this is not a 14" baker in the sense that measurements are commonly used when talking about cookware.It's inner dimensions are much smaller.

much smaller than advertised
I am very disappointed by this dish.Although the dish is very attractive, the advertised size is a substantial overestimate of the actual baking area - as pointed out by an earlier reviewer.The length of the dish's package measured exactly 14 inches, handle tip to handle tip is about 13.5 inches, and the baking length is roughly 10 inches.If you want a 14 inch baker - choose another product!

I use this pan every day!
This pan does it all... bakes lasagne, small roasts, casseroles, potatos, vegetables, desserts, cakes... and it is so beautiful, you can take it from the oven right to the table. I like to put my whole weight on the pin and these handles facilitate that.
Also, this pin can roll inside a rectangular pan and I won't feel the need to buy a pastry roller now.I only wish it was made of a nonporous material and was dishwasher safe.

The placement of the handles allows for you to apply pressure with ease. I have found that I can roll thin, flaky crusts with less effort than a regular rolling pin. NOT FOR STOVETOP USE!
Excellent baking dish but not for stovetop use as pointed out in a previous review. WILL EXPLODE IF PLACED ON STOVETOP BURNER!!!!
Item is bigger than advertised.
Item is great but is 1 1/2 quarts istead of one quart. Wouldn't be a big deal but I also bought the seven piece set so now I have 2 1 1/2 quarts. Item cooks well and is easy to clean up. Would buy again.

As Good As Le Crueset (Now - NOT)
This is an excellent item. It cleans up well, and I have used it in the oven only at this point. I bought the red version and the interesting thing is, that as it heats, the red color darkens. When it cools down, it goes back to it's original color. It is less expensive than the Le Crueset, but so far, just as good.
