Amazing!
I love this product! It is so incredibly easy to clean - it redefines the nonstick pan category. Everything I have baked in it so far comes out effortlessly, perfectly shaped, with no pre-greasing necessary. It works very well for creating frozen deserts too. The down side is that the wells are relatively small compared to a regular muffin pan. I was also concerned about a distinct plastic smell while baking but the pan was perfectly intact. Sturdy
I use Wilton's paper liners to make mini cakes and brownies.Cleanup of baked on dribbles have not been a problem so far.I own two of these.I have no regrets that I don't own the 24 piece pan because the smaller pan means one is more likely to have room for it in a fridge for a quick cool. ... It takes some getting used to, but the pliable silicone construction carries many advantages such as immediate cool-down, the prevention of burnt edges and crusts, and a foldability that extends storage options. Cooking times may be slightly shorter but the pan comfortably bakes a dozen 2-1/2-inch cupcakes, muffins, or mini quiches. Nonstick surfaces help food to release easily but greasing is still a good idea--especially if regularly being washed in the dishwasher. Freezer-, microwave-, and oven-safe up to 500 degrees F, the pan seamlessly transitions from cold to hot and back again if needed. Contact with direct heat sources such as burners or hotplates should be avoided and sharp metal tools can damage or cut the material. Spectacularly easy to use and maintain
My mother just started using these, and is raving about them. She's made muffins for years, and switched from standard tins to the non-stick ones. She just recently switched to the Lekue silicon ones, and it appears there's no going back.Read more
