Great Multi-tasker
Great little bowl for temporary storage or portioning.Sturdy enough to stand up to some abuse.Silicone doesn't retain any food odors or any other odor for that matter.

Nothing like Pyrex
I love this set. It comes with the perfect sizes and there is nothing like pyrex. They're versatile and can be used for many different purposes. You can't go wrong with these. The price is so right too.

I bought this set about two weeks ago and have been satisfied overall. You are getting exactly what you pay for; three basic glass bowls that are fairly sturdy and seem very durable. My only complaint is that they identify themselves as `mixing bowls' and are really all too small to do any real mixing in. The smallest one is the size of a cereal bowl, and the biggest one can only hold enough salad for 4 people. I bought these for my french country kitchen, They look great as mixing bowls or as a casual serving dish, as for the guy thats not a metro-sexual, anyone could of told him the pink mixer and the blue bowls looks tacky, maybe he should be a metro-sexual he wouldn't of gone with such a color combo. A Great Mixing Bowl
Okay, let's not get too excited over a common mixing bowl, but, this bowl is better than the "standard" glass or metal mixing bowls I used to have. The greatest feature is the rubberized bottom which prevents the bowl from easliy slipping on the counter while mixing. The handle is nice and a pour spout that actually works.

missing measure
I've had these cups about a week and thought they would replace my other measuring cups.I love how space efficient they are.However, I've just realized that there is not a one third cup measure making them pretty useless all on their own.

What a brilliant idea! Measuring bowls that can be used for two different measurements each. Why didn't someone think of this sooner? These work easily with an obvious line in the bowls interior that is the 50% measure.

K45SB Replacement Bowl is what I got.
I was really excited about finding a replacement bowl for my kitchen aid mixer.I bake 3 to 4 cakes a week.However, this bowl isbeing advertised as KithenAid K45SBWH, the WH meaning "with handle".I received the bowl without a handle.The handle is a very important feature to me.The advertisement is erroneous and very misleading.I was very disappointed that I didn't get what I ordered.

I have needed an extra mixing bowl for ages but couldn't justify the $50 price tag so when I spotted it here for $30, that was a good incentive to get one. Sure makes things easier when you don't have to transfer ingredients and wash the bowl in the middle of mixing a receipe.

Excellent Quality - Would Purchase Again!
Contrary to the other reviews regarding the lids not fitting, I have had NO problem with my lids. The lids fit great, tight, and the way they are supposed to. You SHOULD NOT put the lids in the dishwasher though. (As with any lid) Bowl quality is excellent and non skid bottoms are excellent as well. It doesn't appear that they will come off...Sizes are PERFECT! Highly recommeded product for the money! I would DEFINITELY purchase these as a gift for someone! The inside is like a brushed steel look - awesome!

GREAT BOWLS, AWFUL LIDS
Like the last reviewer said, these lids don't fit--at all! The largest bowl now has no lid for it because it kept popping off and in trying to force it to stay on, it ripped about an inch right through the curved sealed area and into the center. I bought these bowls for four reasons: 1. They're food grade stainless steel; 2. They have non-skid silicone bottoms (works great, too); 3. They came with lids for storage; 4. Ease of portability to family gatherings, picnics, etc.
misfit lids
I picked these out for my birthday and hubby purchased them for me. The lids do not fit well. So poorly, in fact, that the lids just come off by picking up the bowls and moving them. I filled one bowl with water, put the lid on, and held the lid on with both hands. I turned it upside down over the sink and the water just poured out, even with me trying to hold the lid on. Four little bowls just the right size
I like to prep ingredients ahead of the actual cooking.These are a little larger than I started looking for, all have well-fitting lids and store nicely when empty.But perfect for prep-ahead, (even day before), for such things as diced onions, pepper, celery and garlic.

I'm not sure why a previous reviewer thinks it's okay to give 1 star because of a failure to read the description.These things are prep bowls with about a 1 cup capacity.They are great for holding chopped ingredients, beating a few eggs, and storing any prep that needs to be refridgerated.The lids make it easy to keep the food from being spilled or having ingredients spilled in them.The non-slip bottoms are just like their much bigger cousins and keep the bowls from slipping on your work surface.About the only thing I wish they had are easy to read measuring marks.But their horizontal handle and pour spout more than make up for it.

Beautiful bowl, but misleading item description
This bowl is lovely, but that doesn't fix the fact that it doesn't fit in my Kitchenaid Accolade.The first line under "Features" here on Amazon reads, "Works with any KitchenAid Pivot Head stand mixer", which the Accolade IS (a pivot head mixer).But this bowl does not fit in the base of the mixer, it is to narrow, so it doesn't lock in place.So be sure to check the quart size of your mixer before you purchase this bowl.

JUST THE RIGHT SIZE MIXING BOWL
The bowl arrived in perfect condition and came quicker than expected.I like the size.It is great for mixing smaller amounts. A lot of times the 5 quart bowl that came with the mixer is just too big.

Pyrex is the best!
These bowls are some of the most versatile bowls I've ever used.Not only can you mix in them, they are microwavable and dishwasher safe.I have used these bowls for at least 10 years and they continue to be unscratched or cracked.These bowls are a must for any cook's kitchen!

Smaller than expected
These bowls were a lot smaller than I had expected.Even in the big one I have to be careful when I use my mixers so that the batter doesn't splatter all over the floor and the counter.

Just right!
I like the sizes, I like the weight and thickness of the bowls. I used the large one and it was just right for pureeing a sixteen ounce can of whole peeled tomatoes. I used the large bowl for the wet ingredients and the middle sized bowl for the dry while making banana bread and they were just right. I paid $10 to get them from Target/Amazon including shipping. Did I "Chip" this right
Several commenters have expressed that you have to go easy on Sango because of chipping.Well, I have owned my 8-piece setting and 5-piece completer set for 4 years and none of them are chipped!As a matter of fact, they were stored away in boxes for 2 years when I temporarily relocated and was not using them. Perhaps the chipping is due to washing them in the dishwasher rather than by hand.I used to always wash my dishes by hand and not until recently I began putting them in the dishwasher; still no chipping!I am so happy with Sango, and the compliments from friends, that I am purchasing the 3-piece bowl set.Sango really is a fine show and a great buy!

Hand Thrown Bowls?
I've enjoyed all of my Sango Splash dishes, bowls and accessories. People constantly ask me if they were made locally. There is only one caution in using Sango Splash. Use care when washing and storing to avoid chipping your items.

I throughly recommend these bowls to anyone who does just about anything in the kitchen! They are truly amazing...I received this bowl and a set of glass bowls for a bridal shower gift several years ago.Needless to say I donated the glass bowls to Goodwill and since then have bought the entire set of Oxo Good Grip Bowls.I use the bowls all the time, and can't believe how nice they are and the non-skid bottom is a life-saver!!!

The Easiest bowls!
I was using williams sonoma latte bowls for mixing. THey are cute, and come in trendy colors, but they were heavy and I needed ease of use more than I needed trendiness. Oxo has won me over. I love that the bowls are lightweight and have handles, and they don't slip! THey are the PERFECT sizes, and easy clean. I have NOTHING bad to say!

You will never buy a different kind of mixing bowl again!
This is the single most helpful thing I've run across.The non-stick material on the bottom of the bowl allows you to whisk and mix without fear of the bowl scooting across a surface.The handle is so simple to hold onto.There is a slight pour spout and although mine is a couple of years old, it is in great shape.Indestructable!

Before I bought this set, I read others' reviews and based on that I bought it.I love the measuring glass cups.I have one of a different brand and liquid always runs down the side when I'm trying to pour, but with these it doesn't.They work great!I would definitely suggest buying this set.
