LOVE this item!
We received the KitchenAid Ice Cream Freezer Attachment for Christmas. Placed it in the freezer and kind of forgot about it. When we finally used it, it was wonderful, and we have continued to use it every day since. We use 1% milk, add a favoite fruit, a little Splenda, and a little Davinci sugar-free syrup. Makes a delicious low fat,tasty dessert. One suggestion...be sure to START THE PADDLE BEFORE adding the mixture. If you don't, it will freeze to the bowl and you will have a heck of a time getting it started. ... Read more

Braun accessory
It is so nice to deal with a European company that keeps spare parts for small well-made and engineered appliances for a longish period of time such that the useful life of the basic product is extended. The device was to replace an item damaged in a move on a 10 year old appliance.This is so diffreent from the typical US company where it have either gone out of business, or expects you to wastefully replace the entire appliance.One day the US will wake up to the environmnetal damage they are causing by their childish and irresponsible attitudes to the world's resources.

I just bought this for $10.00, I hope that it's not as bad as the other 2 people say it is.It seems to be easy to clean and looks nice.Is a bit heavy, but as an extra, I'll keep it.

I received one of these mixers for Christmas, and have only tried to use it a couple of times.Not only is it too heavy to be comfortable as a hand mixer, but the beaters fall out if they are not pressed firmly to the bottom of the bowl.

Not as described
This mixer is not made of chrome, it is plastic with a faux chrome finish.The beaters are not extra large; they have a strange finish and bend easily.The so-called spatula is hard unbendable plastic and therefore useless as a spatula.I bought a white plastic hand mixer at a local store that had good stainless beaters and twice as many speeds for half the price of this one.This is the only time I've ever been unhappy with an Amazon purchase. ... It fits the Artisan mixer!!
This mixing bowl cover set fits my Artisan stand mixer (KSM 150)... even though the Artisan is a 5 quart bowl and is not listed as a compatible match to this bowl cover set.None of the bowl covers are noted to fit the KSM 150, so I wrote to KitchenAid and they wrote back that this one would, and it does!
Good-bye ugly mixer covers!
These covers fit perfectly the bowls that come standard with the K45S mixer. They also wash up quite nicely in the dishwasher (upper rack of course).
