So simple to use--just switch this digital thermometer on, insert the 4-3/4-inch stainless-steel probe into any food hot or cold, and in no time an accurate reading appears to one-tenth of a degree Fahrenheit. The LED display registers temperatures ranging from -40 to 302 degrees Fahrenheit, making the thermometer useful for testing everything from hard ice cream for Baked Alaska to a large roast. Since the thermometer head is not oven-proof, the device should not be left in foods during cooking. Turning off the thermometer saves battery power, but the only drawback to this product is that the on/off switch is tiny and difficult to move. The protective sheath for the thermometer features a pocket clip and loop to conveniently hold the probe, and lists various types of meats along with the USDA recommended internal temperature for each. Clean the thermometer carefully by hand to avoid immersing the head in water. A five-year warranty covers the thermometer against defects.Read more

Not the product on the description, but Amazon made it good!
I ordered a meat grinder from Amazon.I was going to attach it to the countertop.When I received it, it was a model that wasn't able to handle a clamp, so I sent an email to Amazon.I told them that the product they sent me was not the product in the description which as a clamp-on type.
Pretty decent grinder
To begin with, I did not receive the table clamp model from the description, I received a bench mount model.I believe it's the same grinder, you just have to fashion your own mount.I screwed mine to a piece of 3/4 in. plywood and use a C-clamp to fasten it to a tabletop.All other aspects are as described. It is solidly built (it IS cast iron, after all!) and the tin plating is well done. This is a small meat grinder, but I am not butchering a side of beef, I just want to grind 2 or 3 pounds of meat at a time. I ground two pounds of tough pork shoulder in about 5 minutes. The first time you use it, throw away the first pound of meat you grind, regardless of how well you think you've cleaned the parts.I was ready to stuff my sausage when I noticed globs of grease in the meat.It stuffs sausage casings well, but you need three or four hands to do it efficiently.My grinder came with a booklet of about 60 pages of sausage recipes that is worthwhile. ... Actual content of kit does not match description
I didn't receive what was described in the online ad. What I got was 1 sausage stuffing attachment, 4 cutters and a 40 page booklet entitled"Sausage Making at Home".
