Insert the card into the appropriate slot and enter a personal ID to get a personal greeting and an exact balance. You can also insert real dollar bills and coins, and the machine will add those amounts to the account. A cash drawer at the bottom pops open for withdrawals. The beeps, lights, and robotic voice resemble those one might find on a spaceship; it's almost as if you're withdrawing funds from the HAL 9000 rather than the ATM machine down the block. Also, the language seems a bit beyond the toy's target audience. ("Enter your name and secret PIN number for real personalized banking.") Not worth the money (or saving for it)
What a disappointment. My son eagerly opened up the box and set up his name and password and that's about as far as he could get before it started dying.After feeding about 5 quarters into it, it stopped registering the amount.Also, the quarters made the coin slot mechanism too large and now won't register the smaller dimes, pennies, etc. I think we'll just go back to the old-style piggy bank for now...

Great Concept - Horrible Execution
My mother bought this for my [...] son.He loves the idea, but has a hard time getting it to work.The machine takes bills only about 10% of the time.It's extremely frustrating for him.Second, the bills and coins dump into one compartment.When you open the compartment to make a withdrawal, they all tend to spill out.If they improved both those problems it would be a great toy.As it is now, I would not waste my money on it.

I think it's junk but son likes it.
My son is having fun with the bank but he does get frustrated with the bill feeder. It is very touchy and doesn't accept the bill most of the tmie. The coin slot isn't always accurate. Most times it counts pennies as dimes so your balance is off. I wanted to take it back but my son (age 6) says he still likes it and just opens the "withdrawal door" to put the bills in when the feeder won't take them. Money jar
How cute is this.I got it for my 2 year old grandson.He already had a little water jug full of change but when I tried to count it for him he just kept putting the money back in.This is soooo much better.He is learning to save and I don't have to add it up!!!

Broke within one hour
Great idea...poor design!We gave this bank to my son for his birthday and it stopped working within one hour.He was very excited and then very sad!

Just what I needed!
I looked everywhere for a stylish yet functional letter holder for my kitchen.I was skeptical after reading the review below, but I am very satisfied with my purchase!Compared to less attractive holders, it's a good price.It's a great size (big enough to hold what I need, but small enough to be somewhat inconspicuous in my kitchen).It anchored securely into the wall; it's lightweight (not flimsy) and definitely sturdy enough to hold all of my junk.Besides holding my mail, I use it to hang my keys, hang my stethscope for work, my ID badge, and other things that I use on a daily basis.Highly recommend.

pretty good cord control
I bought this station just to control the hydra of cords needed to charge two cell phones and a PDA.It does the job pretty well.I would have made the top deck of the unit level, not slanted, so that recharging devices stayed on top easier.The unit does get dusty but that is more my bad cleaning habits than a design flaw.It seems a little pricey for what is not much more than a powerstrip inside a box....

Gooey labels and not enough pockets
The pockets on this organizer are fine - they are a good size and hold most coupons, but there are not enough pockets to hold a large number or variety of coupons.The "labels" that are included to mark the pockets are gooey stickers that make the pockets stick to one another.I'm not sure what's wrong with them, but they turn to goo, especially if they get warm while sitting in your car.

awesome pen
I just love this pen.It fits great in my purse or pocket and works better than pen I've ever used while making notes on a small notepad while hanging upside down from the rafters pulling network cable.My only complaint about this pen is the clip.It comes off really easily when I remove the pen from pocket and I can see it getting lost soon.

Definitely worth it
I have been looking for a nice pen to get back into longhand writing for day to day notes and journaling. I was concerned primarily with smoothness and ease of writing. Second was length because I would be carrying it in jeans, dress pants, coat pockets, etc and in dress pants particularly a long pen falls out easily.

Nice, but . . .
This is a pretty alternative to a metal or plastic file box, and the hanging folders fit perfectly. However, the top doesn't fit or lap the sides; it does cover the basket, but it falls off if touched.

Many Uses
The built in hanging file frames are handy and useful, but these can be used for anything from storage of blankets to keeping smaller items all together in one place. I've used these to store just about everything. Unlike a regular file cabinet, this is a much more portable solution. They can be placed in any room of the house and are easy to carry around because they have handles on each side.

A bit below expectations
I wanted to love these cubes, but the fabric is not great for appearances, and I have broken the inside wire on two of my cubes (I bought two sets). The price is great, however, and I love the three sizes that come in each set. Perhaps my mistake was that I expected too much of the cubes. I use them sparingly now, which really defeats the purpose of purchasing them. As much as I still like the colors and sizes, I would not repeat my purchase.

Not sturdy.Not for long term everyday use.
Great idea collapsible storage.I liked the idea of storage that wasn't plastic because we already have so much plastic storage!At first I thought they were great but now I can't say I would recommend them except... Great Sorter for end of the day change
I have had one of these sorters for over a year and have had no problems.I use it without the wrappers so there are no jams.When i get home each night I just throw the change from my pockets in there and once a week hit the sort button.When I see a full chamber I wrap the coins and put in a safe place until the next time I go to the bank.Its so easy to use.I have one in each bedroom of my house so everyone can use it.

Great Product
The product does exactley what it is intended to do.Drop the coins and and they sort into there respective chambers.I have been using the coin sorter for several days now and have not had any jamming issues and all the coins were deposited into the correct slot.They have more expensive products that may be better suited for your needs, however for simple coin sorting of extra change at the end of the day, this product is perfect!

Good functional furniture for the price
Vietnamese rubberwood filing cabinet and printer stand. Not bad to look at, easy to assemble, all parts fit, drawer opens easily and closes square. Recommend for home use, won't make an heirloom, but functional and sturdy.

Easy, Sturdy and Beautiful!
I've put together two of these, I use them as night stands. They are easy to put together. The come with instrucions and extra screws. I suggest using a POWER DRILL though to screw them together because the pre-drilled holes for the drawer are a snug fit. Unlike some other reviewers that said they "hammered" theirs together and were wobbely, mine is VERY STURDY. About 30 minutes total.

I almost didn't get this file cart after reading several of the reviews on here where people talked about having difficulties putting it together.I did get it though and I'm glad.I don't know if this product has been improved or I got lucky with a good one, but it was easy to put together and is a sturdy, nice looking piece of furnature.I put it together in about 20 minutes and didn't even need to use the instructions (or a drill or a hammer).The only draw back I can see is that the drawer has a weak bottom and was really only made to hold files. ... It may be fire proof but it's not drop proof!!!
I don't know if it's fire-safe (haven't had a fire) but it's certainly not drop proof. I moved last year. The safe was stacked on a box about two feet off the ground. My husband accidentally knocked it off the box and the safe fell open! Curious about wheter this was a fluke, I closed the safe, locked it and knock it off the box again. Same thing- it popped right open.
A review NOT from a seller
The other review is so obviously someone from SENTRY that I thought I'd add my two cents. My house hasn't burned down so I don't know if this works, but I've read other articles that say it does. It is heavy (since the foam contains water to evaporate and dissipate heat in a fire), and there is no rubber grips on the bottom, so it can slide around a lot. It's a lot cheaper and more convient than renting a safety deposit box.

No problems with this organizer
I was surprised to read that the other reviewers here had a bad experience with the customer service and with the quality of this desktop organizer. I received it well-packaged and in perfect condition, and it works great!! I've been paying my bills consistently on time for the first time ever--I hate to admit-- but that's how helpful it has been to have this. And it's not unattractive on my desk. The only issue for me is that it's a bit too big for my space. But the dimensions are listed, so you can measure it before buying (which I did not do).

This item fell apart the moment I took it out of the box.The sides literally came apart.Do not buy this product.The company should be ashamed for even selling it.

disappointment with vendor and product
I received the organizer from office depot-completely broken. I called them for their procedure on returns, asked for a ups p/u from my office. They said absolutely no problem. They ended up with a p/u from my home address..wrong! They finally picked up the item a couple days later. Today I receive emails saying they refunded me the amount-well less than the amount. after emails and phone calls maybe it was straightened out.I will see. I wasted more of my time than this was worth. Office Depot customer no-service dept has the brain power of a peanut. The organizer is not well made-cheap quality. I ordered one from QVC and it is gorgeous.

Great motivation for saving
My [...] daughter bought this for herself with some money she got for Christmas last year.Since then, she has saved every penny (except for a quarter here and there for a gum ball) to deposit in her "bank".The digital display only excites her more as she drops in her change or dollars so she can see her savings increase.There is also a zero balancing button inside the vault so kids can start counting all over again rather than withdrawing all of their money first.It has helped her dramatically with respect to seeing the benifit of saving money and not wanting to rush to the dollar store every time she earns some money, and has also helped her with her money counting skills.This past school year she was introduced currency and it's values, and having this ATM machine made learning fun.
broke too soon...
My son loved it, it was great at the start. But then the trouble started, batteries died, balance never matched, the bill feeder broke, atm card got lost, finally the combination lock broke. It just wasn't worth the money.

Mixed feelings
This bank is great if you don't plan on opening it often (or don't want it opened by you children!).The lock doesn't work very smoothly, and usually doesn't open on the 1st try.It also does not recognize $1 coins.Counts them as quarters.Otherwise it is a great concept, and has taught my children that there needs to be money IN an ATM before it can be taken out and used.Both my children also like that they can quickly see how much money they have saved. ...
