Very Good, with all the expected strengths and weaknesses
I got this Microplane rotary grater to replace a tired old Mouli rotary grater of a very similar design. I picked it for the famous 'Microplane' name which works so well in the form of a straight rasp shaped grater. I was also drawn to how neatly the three leaves of the holder fit so snugly together, holding the cylinder so firmly in place, unlike my wire / metal device which seemed to be in danger of falling apart with a slip of the hand.

I just got the rotary grater and I am delighted.It is super-sharp and grates both hard and soft cheeses effortlessly. So far, I have tried it with parmesan and mozzarella. I have used both drums for the parmesan and both produce pleasing results.I like the fact that it can be used with the right or left hand. (I'm a lefty; my husband is a righty.) It also cleans well in the dishwasher.

Flawless, as far as I can tell
If you are into stainless, you really can't go wrong with this one.The three settings work great, it cranks out a lot of pepper with each twist, it is attractive, sturdy, and easy to fill and operate.There really isn't anything else I could ask for.

Pretty good pepper mill
This mill offers an easy and consistant grind.It has three settings of courseness, and the fine setting actually "fine", unlike some other W&B pepper mills.It's a little hard to fill because a non-removable cross section in the body, but that really my only complaint.I've only had it for a few weeks, so hopefully it continues to give a consistant grind in the future.

First I bought the Wm. Bounds tapered pepper mill with the crank on the top.That one was not very good.Kind of difficult to turn the crank, very course pepper, difficult to spin the courseness regulator and the little knob at the top kept getting loose.This one is great, easy to grind, good pepper texture, no top knob movement and comfortable to hold.Would definately recommend. ... Great Product
I have been using one for 15 years.Holds 7 of 8 heads.I love the large capacity. Saves energy by avoiding multiple roastings. It is tough androasts evenly. The glazed base makes for easy cleaning.
