Having the right pan for the job
Talk about potato woes. Mine were sticking to the pan, ripping, smooshing against my spatula. I tried home fries on the stovetop, roasted potatoes in the oven. Nothing worked and I was getting so frustrated.
We love it!
We love this new addition to our kitchen.We use it all the time for all kinds of things.We can barely believe how easy it is to clean - it even fits in our sink, unlike pans with long handles.It works great for roasting fresh vegetables then adding cheese and toasted pine nuts.It's also the perfect size for quesadillas.Great for eggs and any kind of sauteeing.Other than things that require boiling in water, we could probably do fine with just this pan in our kitchen.

Great heat, not so great non-stick
I bought a set of these Cuisinarts about 9 months ago. This skillet was included in the set, as well as a smaller one and several pots.
Excellent value!
These pans are heavy, well made with riveted handles. Very even heat distribution and they clean up with little more than a rinse. After purchasing one I went back and purchased the other 2 sizes. Quality product.

Not non-stick!
I have used this pan 3 times, twice to cook meat. It does not brown; the meat stick to the pan. I made stuffed artichokes last night and even though I used olive oil and water to begin the steaming process, the pan was a mess to clean. I have never had any problems with Myers anodized pans, 18/10 pans or,of couse, teflon. I'm not sure what this pan will be useful for but I believe I will only use it for vegetables or rice.

Infused Anodized Calphalon
Very disappointed!My wife and I just decided to clean out 20+ years of pots and pans and get new cookware so we purchased a Calphalon Contemporary Stainless set (very nice and completely satisfied with it), but there are just times when a non stick works better for me.So my wife as a gift gave me a 9" Infused Anodized fry pan.I read the instructions before using the pan.I was disappointed that it wasn't dishwasher safe, but it was a gift.

Nice all purpose wok
We bought this wok about four months ago. We have been using this wok to make regular Chinese dishes, such as frying fish and rice. It works really well -- nonstick as claimed with little oil. We are very happy with this wok.

Better Than Ever
I'm a person that cooks five nights out of the week. I have been using Berndes pots and pans for many years. I find them to be the longest lasting of all my pans and when I do wear one out it's like losing an old friend. If you enjoy cooking then these are the pans for you, German made, German guilty what more could you want.

Wonderful frypan
As far as I am concerned, I would only buy the Berndes brand cookware.This is my third pan, and they are all wonderful and perform as advertised.

Great Skillet
I had this exact skillet for 10 years and it held up great.The wood handle is long and comfortable to grip unlike the shorter curved styles out there.The nonstick surface works great and little oil is neeeded.I was very happy to find this same great skillet and I'm sure it'll last me another 10 years.

Non-stick???
I bought this pan to replace a Cuisinart pan that I've had for 8 years. First time I used the Calphalon, I tried to cook an omelet. I carefully followed instructions for first use, but nevertheless ended up with egg stuck all over the pan, and it took me 20mins+ to clean it off. I'm confused by the bad reviews
I've had this pan for about a week now.I've made sausage, eggs (scrambled and over-easy), meatballs, and sautéed a ton of vegetables.There isn't one thing that "stuck".The foods I wanted to provide the little bits of browning to make a sauce did so, the things I didn't (like the eggs) didn't stick at all!I can't imagine I just lucked out.
Another disappointment from Calphalon
Calphalon states in their website that the so-called infused anodization is not supposed to wear off.After all, it's "infused."In fact, they go so far as to say it's "rare."It may be rare to them, but I've experienced it twice.The first time, they replaced this pay.Now, it's happened again.When the Calphalon tea kettle began to leak (less than a year old), I decided to be through with Calphalon.It's an expensive mistake.The quality is highly overrated.Workmanship is poor.

Best of both worlds
These pans are not a replacement for 'teflon'. They are in between regular anodized, and non-stick, with the best of both. For this reason, I think they are perfect.They brown beautifully, and clean up is easy with the right product.I have this pan, and think it works wonderfully on my glass top stove.I have not tried them on gas, or regular electric burners, but expect the results would be similar. ...
