Not worth it...
The construction and stability of this unit is sub par at best. Save yourself the trouble and go to Home Depot and get their Storage Unit-it is much better quality and is about the same price.

Help!
I purchased this item awhile ago and am very happy with it.I was wondering if anyone still has the instruction manual and could help me out.I turned it into two separate units and would like to make one tall unit again, but I can't remember how!Specifically, how do I attach the two shorter pieces in each corner to make a tall unit?I don't recall there being any extra parts needed to do this.Any help is greatly appreciated!

More stable than others
Besides being heavy and bulky, putting this together wasn't too bad. Once you have the first shelf or two in place, it's all downhill from there. It's been a while, but I don't remember cutting myself. This one is more stable and squared off than another one I bought with all metal shelves--that kind of shelves can bend in the middle, and I had a terrible time getting them square!! An added benefit is the fiberboard material--I stained it dark blue and coated it with a few coats of polyurethane, so it looks really nice and the shelves will last longer. Don't even bother.If you're looking for storage, organization this is NOT the item for you.Fresh out of the box this thing fell apart and was worthles.It falls apart everytime you open it (sides detach), the batteries fall out b/c of poor engineering, and it's CHEAPLY made. Amazon has yet to deliver but is asking for a product review!
I was short shipped. Had a very difficult time getting in touch with Amazon to discuss the problem. Have now been told that the item is on back order and I will have to wait 8 weeks for delivery!!

Horizontal Sliding Shed for bikes usually
I have to comment, this is 2nd online store for this shed, we already have one, and we bought it at Home Depot (standard stock item) about 2 yrs. ago, for $299.99.... I want another one for additional storage other than bikes (Mfr.# 3752) and the price only went up to $329.99.... so you can get it cheaper, you still could rent a home depot truck for $20 and still come out less expensive. Our plastic lock broke the first year, as one other review has mentioned, i do agree, overall, quickly assembed under 30 mins., and roomy and plastic has no signs of wear.Good luck shopping!

This is a very good product. Easy to put together. Only one little flaw, the place where the lock goes.It is made out of plastic. It could be broken into in about three seconds.
