Works as advertised, but do you need it?
I wanted to hang two 3' stepladders on our garage wall (drywall over studs).I went to one of the big box stores and checked out my options.The standard stepladder hooks aren't deep enough for my ladders.Various other hooks were going to require me to mount a 2x4 across the studs to provide strong enough mounting points.

All of the Rubbermaid Fasttrack items are fantastic.However you should buy this item at your local Home Depot and save $5.00 per rail.Same with most of the FastTrack items advertised here on Amazon.Ladder hook, save $6.50.Bike hook, save $5.00.Ad infinitum.All items have a single digit difference on the item number, those excluding them from the price match guarantees, but they appear to be exactly the same.Happy Shopping, fellow Amazoners.

Strong, sleek, good value, easy to install--ideal wall storage!
After rejecting other garage wall storage options as too flimsy, too expensive, or too "one-size-fits-all," we were thinking of trying to build something ourselves when I found the Rubbermaid FastTrack system online. Rubbermaid states this is a new system supposedly in several stores by March 2005, but so far I've only seen it at Amazon and the Rubbermaid site. We ordered the 56" rail, 88" rail, and an assortment of hooks. For some reason, Amazon is the only place I've seen the 88" rail (it wasn't even listed on the Rubbermaid site).

Not the quality I expected.
This is a very functional cabinet and it assembles easily.The quality is not what I expected from a Rubbermaid product.The plastic is not as sturdy as I have seen in competing products.

Nice, Inexpensive Storage
Bought 2 of these on Amazon.com for $59.99 each with free shipping.I wanted plastic storage compartments for my garage rather than particle board as sometimes snow melting and falling off of the tires can get the garage floor wet.If particle board gets wet it falls apart while plastic does not. The cabinet assembled nicely, with no tools required.The doors shut fine.I suspect that people who have problems shutting their doors have not properly assembled the cabinet.To snap the top of the cabinet into place, you have to have the doors open.They will then close fine.The doors do have tiny holes for inserting a padlock.

excellent product but could be better.
I agree with the other reviewers that this product is great. It is very easy to manage. It rolls without too much effort. It is great, even when hauling things upstairs. I am contemplating buying a second one.
3rd times my last chance
As the title suggests, I have ordered a half dozen of these Pack-N-Rolls - three for myself, and others for friends. They are a great concept.My only concern is the durability of these units. I use mine daily to carry relatively heavy papers and the like, and have destroyed each unit after 4 months by inadvertently catching the front bottom corners on chairs, door frames, etc. and tearing the plastic outer panels. my concern is the front feet act as hooks and catch on objects. I wish the front feet supports were positioned inward so they would not catch on door jams, etc. When this happens with any weight in the unit, the front panels tear. I'm buying a third unit for myself as of this writing, but if I find another unit that does the same job and is stronger... this one's in the trash.

I have two of these rolling crates and have used them for traveling to workshops. I have loaded them full and they have been pulled over all kinds of surfaces. They are very durable and a great deal.
