This beautiful set is easy to use and clean. Truly 'leet tea
Aside from the small problem of the plunger not staying in the "up" position during brewing, this is a flawless teapot. The leaves stay in the infuser, the plunger doesn't massacre the leaves, and you wind up with a perfect cup of tea without having to annoy an overburdened ship's computer. I'm impressed. Disappointing
Although I'd read other reviews before I bought the press saying that it leaked, I was optimistic that maybe this was just a sporadic problem as the other products I have from Bodum have worked well...but no, mine also leaked into the wall the very first time I used it...great idea, shame about the final product

One incredibly disappointing purchase
The plastic cup part of this product is incredibly fragile and cracks. My first bodum travel press was broken when I bought it (unbeknownst to me) and the coffee leaked into the walls of the cup- totally disgusting! Also, coffee leaks straight down onto your clothes from under the lid with every attempted sip. I just replaced it and after one use the plastic has cracked and now the mug is completely unusable. I would pay for this again if I thought there was a chance of it lasting a few months, but so far this product has not lasted for more than a day, what a waste!
Good idea, poor product
I have owned two of these travel presses.The first one I had did not seal properly when closed. The press spilled all over my white shirt on my way to work.I could never get it to seal properly so I sent it back to Amazon.They sent me another press and after two uses the plunger broke.I sent that one back as well and got a refund.

We bought this coffeemaker because it seemed cool in the way that it brews the coffee.
Real Coffee
After visiting overseas I was NOT satisfied with the coffee I got here in the States from automatic drip coffeemakers.I purchased the Bodum coffeemaker and have never had a better cup of coffee.Wonderful taste and aroma not to mention I have had people wait in my kitchen just to watch the Bodum make coffee.

Not the best out there
I started using French presses a few years ago and have owned several. I find them very versatile as I can also use them to make hot or cold tea at my desk. This item does keep your coffee and/or tea warm for a few hours. However, it does not unassemble to clean the mesh filter, making it difficult to clean especially in the case of tea. If you are only using coarse ground coffee, it works fine but you do still have a few grounds stuck in the mesh filter. I have really enjoyed the presses that were fully able to come apart, they are much easier to clean that way.

Very pleased with this product.
The press makes great coffee and I've had no problems with the beakers.I've had mine for almost a year with no problems outside of the screws on the handle coming loose.That's a quick fix and didn't affect the performance of the product.

I broke the glass carafe of my press, and would like to buy a Lexan carafe so this doesn't happen again. However, the only way to get a Lexan carafe is to buy a new press with a Lexan carafe. This is a little silly and a little wasteful. I love my press, though. ... Read more
