Television top shelf
This item works fairly well, although we had to buy some non slip, rubber matting to put under it as otherwise it would try to slip off. But with that under it, my cats have jumped up on it and it has yet to fall.

Double TV Shelf is good for not much other than garbage
This shelf is flimsy, unstable and certainly not something you would want to trust any expensive electronic equipment on. Look for something else. This is a lemon.

Just What I Wanted!
We bought a combo TV (TV/VCR/DVD) for the bedroom and needed a place to put our Tivo unit.The TV has a large footprint, but not much flat space on top.I looked and looked for a simple shelf to put on top to hold the Tivo unit, but amazingly couldn't find much.This shelf does the job perfectly.There's also a second shelf to put dvd's, videos, etc.One nice feature is the double sided adhesive they put on all four legs, so the shelf doesn't slide around and fall off the TV. ... They aren't kidding...
anyone can put this thing up. AND it was straight and so solid! I was really surprised. I got these in several sizes. They look so nice and took me minutes to put up. The quality is good and the instructions were clear and easy to understand.

pretty solid; dark cherry redder than expected
I bought the 18", 24", 33" Flying Nun shelves.Note that the 33" has a larger depth than the 18" and 24" so it looks a little odd if you line them all up
