needs frequent brew seal replacement
We have been enjoying a cup of Capuccino every single morning for at least 9 years. Our old model broke and needed to be replaced. We chose the Krups XP 4000 based on it's 15 bar pump setting and because our previous very old machines were from Krups and we were happy with them.

I don't know what's happened on my coffee maker. Actually, it's really fast for shipping so that I can get my product. However,there is something problems in my machine, particularly in making frothy milk which was not going well. And it always happens and drives me crazy. Now I am going to send to the company to maintainence. The shipping speed of product is good. But the quality of the product isn't very well.

A great choice
I bought this machine about a month ago and have made at least one espresso every day.I don't drink straight espress so I can't provide a quality comparison--I typically drink lattes and that tends to mask the finer points a bit. perfect shot every time
excellent flavor, cremma, oh wait...no mess. ok for the purist you dont get to tamp and grind and wash and pick out the grinds and well you get the point. I get the 300 for a xmas present by those who know i love my shots. i made a quick doubble shot for santa so he could finish the west coast. Fabulous machine and coffee
I beg to differ with the reviewer from Los Angeles. The coffee is not watery, and does not taste like "freeze dried instant." Perhaps this person got a machine with old capsules??? Or is using the "Large" cup button rather than the small??? (The Large makes about 4 ounces of "crema coffee" -- which is, of course, not as strong as an espresso.)Read more

I have used this unit for over 2 years now and it's still making great Espresso and Capaccino!Ultra low maintenance and easy to use.This is the only way to make and enjoy coffee.Of course a good coffee helps... I use Medaglia D'oro Caffee' Espresso from Caffe Nero (my local grocer carries it).I've also enjoy illy and Lavazza.You will not be sorry with this product! ... Read more

The Best - so far!
I have had this machine for 3 years and had bought it refurbished. I use it on a daily basis and have maintained it well. The coffee always taste great and stays that way cups after cups. From my point of view this is the best system for home or office use. The pods are only 2 days away via UPS and coffee always fresh. One suggestion, heat the machine well, leave the handle on the machine (empty) for a while and run hot water thru it before brewing your coffee. This will allow you to get a nice WARM coffee. I just bought a second one for the office.

Sheer Perfection
I have had this machine for about a year and I have no complaints. The capsules are a bit expensive, but they are well worth it. There's a reasonable range of strength and taste, but all are excellent. The crema is outstanding -- every time. I can't wait to get up every day so I can have my capuccino, and I have an espresso after dinner every night, which I never did with my old machine because it was too much trouble to fill - heat - grind - scoop - clean.

Great machine and system, but mediocre capsules
I have had three Nespresso machines for a long time now and use them a lot. My comments concern the Nespresso system rather than any particular machine.
