This electric kettle is hot to trot!!!
I have had this kettle for over 5 years. It is a true workhorse. I use it several times a day. It boils water faster than a kettle on the stove, and its brushed stainless exterior and black plastic handle and cover complement my kitchen decor nicely. There is no plastic inside, which is hard to find in an electric kettle. You really don't want any plastic inside because of the controversy over heated polycarbonate plastic releasing potentially carcinogenic chemicals. Better to err on safety's side when it comes to your health. There is a clear fill indicator on the side of kettle that lets you know how much water is in the pot. The kettle also has auto shut off. Hot water at the touch of a button
We really like this pot..no pumping by hand and it's easy to maintain.The filter at the bottom will plug when using "hard water" so if you notice the stream diminishing just pop it out (a magnet holds it in place)and soak it in vinegar..if worst comes to worst, use a needle to open the metal fabric again. ... Cute but cumbersome!
I bought this Gizmo because I thought it would save space and be easy to use.I was wrong!Not long after I had it, it started to become very difficult to use.I couldn't get the opener to work at all when docked in the station.Soon, I couldn't get the blade to line up and the opener was coming off after only cutting a short distance around the can.I eventually had to trash it.Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Handy and fun
I got this as a christmas gift a year ago and have had more coments about it from friends and family than anything else in my home.I'm planning on getting one for my Aunt for her upcoming wedding.Unlike some of the other products, the charger and storage are the same thing, plugs into the wall, fits under the counter.You can use it in the charger or take it off for bigger cans and let it run around the can.Works fantastic.I love it. ... 1 Year Later It Is Not Worth The Money
At first we loved the kettle.It performed well, being used 5-6 times a day.There normally is a little condensation on the heating element, but right around the time the 1 year warranty expired, we noticed more water at the base.By the time we noticed that one of the windows had a leak, it was after the warranty expired.
My Kettle is now not working after 4 months!!
I am from Scotland and hence drink a lot of tea, so I thought the Dualit would be the perfect kettle for me.
Expensive but WONDERFUL!
I would actually give this 4.5 stars due only to the price (but they don't give us that option)

An amazing peice of cookware
I was given this electric wok as a gift and I absolutely love it. clean up is amazing. I can either wipe it down or put the whole thing in the dishwasher. also the steam vent on the lid makes cooking vegatables alot easier. Love that didn't last
Breville has won many design awards of which it should be proud. Who wouldn't prefer the sleek beauties of the sort Breville makes to the clunky plastic vessels that proliferate like so many action figures gone to graveyards. But function matters, especially at the SK550XL pricetag. And that's where this relationship faltered. First the good points:
