Loved it.

Ugh
I bought this pan as a Christmas gift for my husband.It would have been easier if I had just put a match to my money and burned it.He has given up using this pan.He even read the directions thinking he was doing something wrong.Every egg he placed in it stuck to the side of the teflon rings.What a shame.The only use would be to throw the rings away and just use it as a regular pan.Don't waste your money.

Where've you been all my life?
I was very pleased with the impressive quality, design and function of this egg poacher. The eggs came out PERFECT. They popped right out of the cups. No messy clean up. Also, the generous handles to pick up the cups were not overlooked; they were so easy to pick up with an oven mitt. No fumbling with a fork to get the cups out like with some other egg poachers. The beautiful brushed stainless steel pan and glass lid were also extremely well made. I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally find the perfect poacher!

Perfection
A very high quality piece of specialized kitchen equipment. Does a perfect job of poaching. The glass lid lets you moniter the cooking process and it's vented. Has a nice weight and the teflon cups keep the eggs whole.Read more

I don't usually write reviews but this product has made me very happy and I would like to relay my thoughts on.
Now I Can Have Poached Eggs the Healthy Way
When I found out that non stick cooking surfaces caused cancer, I reluctanly put away my egg poacher and started looking for one that didn't have the non stick egg cups. I might add that I looked for a long time before I found this one. I highly recommend this stainless steel egg poacher to anyone who wants a product that not only cooks poached eggs perfectly, but does it the healthy way. I couldn't be more pleased.

If you are looking for a good egg poacher look no further, this is it. Why buy yet another electric appliance to take up valuable cabinet space? This poaches eggs beautifully and can also double as a skillet all on the cooker you already have. It only takes 5 mintues to poach an egg with a soft yoke, 7 for a firmer yoke. I use this several times a week for breakfast. This is a piece of...
I wanted an egg poacher insert that did more than 2 eggs and I didn't need any more pans.I purchased this in spite of negative comments.Well, here's my opinion.It only fits into the large dutch oven I already have.The cups are not large enough to hold large eggs without the eggs spilling. Water easily boils over--over the eggs and even over the pot onto the cooktop.I'm going back to my microwave poacher that I picked up for $1.00 even though it does only 2 eggs at a time.

Adequate, large, poor non-stick
This poacher measures 9" across and requires a wide pan/pot with a lid to fit into.I found it barely fits in the classic Revere copper (or aluminum) bottom 4.5 or 6 qt stockpots - I discovered that these pots, although a little over 9" at the top, actually narrow a little so the poacher doesn't quite reach the bottom, but it still works.So beware of this if you measure your pan.
Poach me some eggs, woman!
This thing works great!Just the ticket for some nice poached eggs.It helps to have a nice big pan with a lid to cover the whole getup, otherwise you need to turn the eggs to really get them to cook, at least up here in the mountains.But for what it is, namely a piece of steel covered in teflon with four egg-sized depressions stamped in it, it's pretty durn good! ... Good product
We have been using this poacher in my restaurant for the last six weeks. It is easy to use and seems to be standing up well to commercial use.

Almost perfect!
I like this poacher alot.I have three hungry men in the house so I went with the 6 egg poacher instead of the 4 egg option.The pan is good quality 18/10 stainless steel... It has not bent or warped since I've owned it (about 1 yr)which alot of cheap pans do.It has a nice glass lid that's also heavy duty...which enables you to watch your eggs cooking.The handles on both the lid and pan itself are sturdy and easy to grip.The cups that hold the eggs are good quality...non stick...with no sign of peeling or scratching.My one and only beef with this poacher is the method used to attach the small handles to each egg cup is not the best.One had to be replaced after the first use.My husband changed the screw on it ..and now it's the way it should have been.In all fairness...I haven't had to change screws on any of the other 5 cups yet...but if they come loose...we'll know what to do.

Egg Head great for hard boiling.........
I own this egg cooker and am shopping for a different one.This works wonderfully for hard/soft boiling though.The alarm can be heard in just about any room in the house, so there's no chance you'll forget your eggs are done.The reason I'm shopping is that it only poaches 2 eggs at a time and the trays for this aren't well designed.They are square at the bottom and the eggs stick in them requiring manual scrubbing after each poaching.If you're not interested in poaching, this is a great cooker. ...
