Great but can suddenly explode.
Great measuring cup set because of the value, the numbers are easy to read and it is nice to have three sizes in a set.I used them every day for over a year because I love to cook.

More than perfect....to me.
I was lost for 5 days without my old one, which DID break but only after 6 years of daily use.My old one didn't have a cover, so it was an added bonus to receive that with my new one.Highly recommended, especailly to someone who bakes a lot and needs precise measurements.Beats having to take out the measuring spoons sometimes and other times helps do the conversions when you need to know how many tablespoons in a cup, etc.

A Great Cup with a Minor Flaw
This cup measures in multiple units and has extra room at the top, to minimize spills and allow room to mix ingredients in the cup. This means it's larger than other 1 cup measures, which may annoy some users.
Since this one came free....
with the Oxo pastry brush, it is hard to rate it at less than 5-stars.Has been a staple in my kitchen for many many years.Now I can use 1 for dry and one for wet (i.e. for pancakes) without having to stop and wash/dry the single.Way to go, Amazon!

I've used this to measure my milk then add the instant pudding and mix it directly in the measuring cup with the beater. I used it as a small mixing bowl. It's a great size. I like the handle 'cuz any size hand can hold this. If you are looking to measure in 1/4 cup increments, you need to get a smaller measuring cup like the 2 cup size.The purpose of this big size is for measuring in large quantiies. As for the quality of this product.......It's a pyrex. They last forever.

Mediocre Handle - No Quarter Cup Measurements
The handle is too short and slippery. It should be a full closed loop. This measuring cup just seems like it will, at some point, slip out of my hands.

Great idea!

a wonderful product

since the company was founded in HongKong in 1978 and then moved to the mainland 18 years later.Having put the ethinicity thing to rest, I will say that both these and the measuring spoons are heavy-weight and of excellent quality.I also like the larger than average variety (7 vs the typical 5-cup set).I would still give AllClad (which is French but made in the USA)the edge, but you will pay a hefty premium for AllClad.

Great Little Kitchen Items!
Although small, these little cups come in really handy.Have small amounts of liquid to measure before you measure those tablespoons of sugar or flour?Now you don't need to be concerned, just use a little OXO cup and move on!I use them every time I bake and leave the measuring spoons dry or completely alone.Just love them and need another set!

Pyrex 2-qt Glass Measuring Bowl
I bought this bowl so I could easily mix pancake and crepe batter.I have been more than pleased with it.Since it's by Pyrex, it's microwave and dishwasher safe and the handle is great to hold the bowl steady while whisking your ingredients together.

Anyone who knows Pyrex knows its products need no review. I grew up using my mom's pyrex measuring cups, so I didn't hesitate to buy these when I needed some of my own. The prices are always reasonable, and they are the most durable products. Great idea - needs a little better execution in design.
I really love OXO equipment and I've tried to replace most of my older kitchen gear with much of their stuff.These measuring cups are really nice.The vertical-read measure marks are both easy andmuch more natural than holding a gallon jug of milk above your head while you keep your eyes at counter level!I'm really surprised this hasn't been copied since this style has been out for a long time.The plastic is solid, and I've used boiling water in them without cracking.They have also been through the dishwasher with no noticeable changes.

most inclusive in sizes and best price
The plastic had me a bit worried but I really disliked the size variations of the metal ones that pushed one to consider also buying the "odd" size set.Now I'm reading to go and I don't feel guilty about having thirty or forty dollars spent and taking up space in my cupboards. I use them constantly.I would prefer metal ones since I put these in the dishwasher but in order to get the equivalent sizes, I would be spending a fortune.

Functional and frugal!
Several of my European friends (who use the metric system) needed cost-effective kitchen tools to measure ingredients for American and UK recipes and asked me to find them a solution. Since this set offered both cups and spoons for less than other items offering only one or the other, and they wouldn't be using them every day, I figured this was the answer.

Great measuring cups
I really like these measuring cups.They are sturdy, solid and have long handles, which are nice for keeping your hands out of whatever it is you're measuring.Thay are stainless and can go into the dishwasher.It is great that they come with a 1/8 cup measure which most sets do not.1/8 cup is 2 Tbsp, which is required for a surprising number of recipes.My mother liked them so well, she wanted her own set, and she hardly even cooks anymore.

Not sure I care for these
They look cool, definitely, but the handles are not comfortable and I get the sneaking suspicion that the cups don't measure so perfectly.That said, everybody else seems to be happy with them, so don't mind me.

These cups are great!I love the 2/3 and 3/4 measurer - they are so convenient!I recommend these to anyone who loves to bake.

Disappointing
I thought these measuring cups were going to be great to have, since they include the 2/3 cup and 3/4 cup "extras" that come in so handy.However, I have found two things I don't like about them: 1) ingredients don't release well from the texture of these cups, for some reason, and 2) the measuring cups I own are black (I assume these are the same, although there is currently no photo on this site) and started out with brightly colored dots on the handles with the "1" or "1/2" inside them.After only having them a few months, the dot on the 1 C. measure has completely worn off and a couple of others are showing wear.These have always been washed by hand, too.This is particularly inconvenient because the 2/3 and 3/4 cups make it much harder to distinguish by size just by looking at them.Someone needs to go back to design and start over. ... Easy to use, I reach for these first
I've been using these for a couple of months and every nasty, gloppy mess I throw in it, including shortening, butter, cream cheese, sour cream and others have slid right out and cleaned up perfectly fine. I spend less time cleaning up then I would have with glass as more is pushed out. I haven't had any problems with them sticking and have yet to find a complaint with one and have gone so far as to aquire a 1 cup version. They both sit out and are never put away as my glass measuring cups are.
