Worst filter
I am totally dissatisfy with this product and this is damn waste of money. Brita base was working for just 2 week initially and now I able to get a water from filter but there is no light glowing either green or red. The base was showing red flash light on end of first week for the first new filter which suppose to come upto atleast 2 months.

i find it a bit annoying that it ends up breaking after 2 years - meaning slipping off the tap and squirting water everywhere - but overall it's a great product.

Does the job, I think
This is a great tool if it really works.The thing is, the taste improvementI'm getting may not be the result of actual filtration, but from the chlorine in the water evaporating.Here's the thing, I tried the water immediately after filtration and I honestly could not taste any difference from the tap.Maybe my tap is clean, I live in NY.However, a few hours later, the water seemed to tasted like nothing and crisp, but that might have been due to the evaporation of the chlorine.I'm not sure.

This is a great water filter and it gets plenty of use in my household.If anything I could say "I wish it held more water,"(I drink 3+ litres of water a day and it seems that I am always filling the darned thing up) - but that would be an unreasonable request.Who would want a dispenser so large that it would be unwieldy to carry to the refrigerator?No one - not even me.So I bought a second one so that one of them is always full!This dispenser is slim so that I can easily fit two side by side in my refrigerator. (Can't have too much of a good thing!)And this filter/dispenser is definitely good - it has a large fill "basket" and the 2 stage filter produces water that is completely taste and odor free.I could easily tell the difference in my drinking water!Lastly, the filters (with usage indicators) are long-lasting.I have filled my first dispenser twice a day for 1 1/2 months and it still hasn't reached the half way point.Very impressive results!Highly recommend.

Great water, good price
Water from this filter tastes great.Installation is simple.Replacement filters are cheap (just bought one for 30 bucks).This works much better than your standard PUR or Brita IMO.Another good feature is the separate spout.If you have a shallow sink this is a must.You can get a glass of water even if your sink is full of dirty dishes. :) ... I Love this Machine!
I live in Los Angeles where the water from the tap tastes like bleach.I used to buy 2.5 gallon containers of water every week.I have tried Brita and I guess I just have a picky palette because I still preferred bottled water.That is until now.The water treated by the machine tastes like bottled water, it has almost no taste at all.And the water is almost sweet tasting.I know the price of the treatment system is off putting, but it is well worth it and I do not have to lug water to my car then from my car to my condo.The machine does make a hummimg noise when it is in operation, and a louder sound when the water is dispensed, but it takes less than ten minutes to process a half a gallon of water.I consider this an investment which will "pay for itself" since I no longer have to buy water from the local Vons/Ralphs.

Highly recommended water dispenser
This is a good water dispenser. It was easy to assemble and it is sturdy. I think it looks nicer than the plastic/aluminum units I've rented from the bottled water companies. Well-worth the money.

Disappointed ...water "dripping" not flowing
This system is easy to install, feel good with the taste of filtered water.However, water started to "drip" instead of flow after just 32 days of use.Too much too pay for that short period of time.

It's not difficult to change the filter in this system . . . it's impossible!
The price was right, and the quality of the filtration sounded fine. So I bought one of these from the manufacturer. It wasn't easy to install one of the two original filters. I finally called tech support at the manufacturer. The tech told me to bang it on the counter to get this filter in - this wasn't explained in the instructions, but that was all right. It worked, and I was happy. The product seemed fine to me. I didn't mind switching back and forth from filtered to unfiltered water; neither did the slow flow of the filtered water bother me.
