Perfect size!
Mom was thrilled about getting this for Mother's Day.It's perfect for cooling cakes and cookies and... pretty much anything else you can think of!Not to mention that it is the perfect size for the little space on the counter next to our stove.It can hold around two dozen cookies or a pretty good sized cake, yet it doesn't tilt on one side like alot of other designs do.It's simple to clean as well, and the spaces in the grid are smaller than dimes, so cookies don't fall through.

IT'S A RACK AND IT COOLS..
Not too much you can say about a cooling rack, except for that it works.It is large enough to fit almost 2 dozen cookies on, and it doesn't tip over like my mom's used to.I throw it in my dishwasher and it comes out clean and hasn't warped or anything.It is pretty sturdy too, and won't bend with weight, as I have set a large pot on it.I would reccommend it.

I LOVE THESE
I have had my cooling racks for 10+ years.I wouldn't give them up for anything.I have't had a problem with the legs bending.I use them to cool cookies, cakes, and to dry pasta.You do have to cool the cookies about 5 minutes before transferring to the cooling racks but it takes me that long to get organized anyway so it's not an imposition.Cakes have to cool 10 minutes before transferring as well.I do a lot of cooking and baking and have very little counter space so use these a lot!I was looking for them to give a set to my daughter for Christmas with her pasta machine I'm giving her.I'll tell her if she doesn't like them, give them back to me next year as my gift. :)

Good Enough
I purchased this cooling rack and was somehwat disappointed with it's performance. The legs that make the racks stackable bend easily and so the tiers are no longer level and cookies slide around on them. Also, you need to let your cookies cool on the cookie sheets before transferring them to this rack because the distance between the bars is so wide that cookies don't get enough support and will brake and fall through if they are too warm. Nevertheless, they still work and are great when counter space is a premium, just make sure you let them cool before using this cooling rack.Read more

Love it! Big enough for a real batch of muffins
This is your basic, dirt-simple, dirt cheap, no bells and whistles cooling rack. It's lightweight, dishwasher safe, but most of all, it's big enough to be useful. I can finally dump most of a two-pan batch of muffins onto a real cooling rack without fear.

Time to bake cookies...
This is much larger than it looks in the picture and that is why I love it. It is perfect for cooling cookies, a cake or just about anything you are baking that needs to be cooled down.

This is the best cooling rack I have ever seen.I have used it primarily for cookies, but it works great for other baked goods as well.Because of the small grid, nothing gets bent or broken.The size is perfect for putting many cookies on to cool without trying to squeeze them together. Clean up is a breeze.Just add a couple of recipes and this would make a very nice gift.I know I wouldn't want to be without it.

Useless.
The rack is made of incredibly thin wire. It was bent out of the box, but I could reshape it very easily with my fingers.
Not as good as it seems

I concur--not aluminum
I was intrigued when I saw an aluminum cooling rack that was deemed "sturdy".Well, sturdy it is.Aluminum, it is not.Though I didn't call Kaiser, I did try putting a magnet to it and, lo and behold, the magnet attracted it.Can't do that with aluminum.Also, the spacing between the wires is too wide for fresh-from-the-oven cookies.Need to try finding a better rack.

I received the cooling racks only to find that they are constructed of heavy gauge steel with chrome plating, rather than being aluminum as described (I even called Kaiser to confirm).Their appearance and weight are nearly identical to the racks in our oven.These may not be suitable for someone looking for general-purpose baking racks for home use.
