Jar sealer really works
I got both the regular and wide mouth jar sealers and I use them a lot. I put leftover green salad in a jar and sealed it!Not a speck of brown on any of it.Just as fresh as the day it was made!Also did the same with fresh fruit, such as apricots and sliced peaches.Just great! You must have the right jars in order for it to seal, however.They have to be the newer canning jars, which have a slight rim just below where the ring screws on.I have some older jars that have no rim, and the sealer doesn't fit snuggly on them.Also, one older qt. jar had too large a rim.This is a great way to keep food from spoiling before you can use it up!

Works well
The jar sealer works as promised.Using mason jars provides a cheaper/reusable alternative to the Foodsaver bags.The only trouble I had at first was in releasing the vacuum to open the jar, but I got the hang of it after a while -- I just had to patiently twist a spoon underneath the lid to release the seal.

Throw away your knife block
My sister suggested I try a magnetic bar for my knives. I bought this one and wonder why it took me all these years to do it! I can put a whole knife collection on the bar (I have 3 chefs knives and a about 8 other assorted knives.) I also keep my kitchen scissors on the bar. It is off the counter and out of the way. I think this is a great way to store your knives. My knife block is going to the thrift store. I gave it only 4 stars because I have had it only a few months and I do not know how it will last.

Incredible asset to kitchen organization
This item is extremely well built, sturdy and very easily mounted, with easy removal should it be necessary for moving, remodeling, etc.Extremely good with holding lOTS of knives of all sizes.For lack of horizontal space to mount, I had to mount it vertically, and attach knives on an angle - even with this unusual mounting, the knives are held very securely and do not shift or slip.I am VERY pleased with this product.

More than perfect....to me.
I was lost for 5 days without my old one, which DID break but only after 6 years of daily use.My old one didn't have a cover, so it was an added bonus to receive that with my new one.Highly recommended, especailly to someone who bakes a lot and needs precise measurements.Beats having to take out the measuring spoons sometimes and other times helps do the conversions when you need to know how many tablespoons in a cup, etc.

quality concerns
my butter keeper arrived. I ran it through the dishwasher, top rack, then filled it as directed and enjoyed it until it was empty. Then I put it in the dishwasher again, top rack, and took it out this am and it has a crack in it. Not a surface hairline thing but a crack I can feel, which let water in to the china, leaving a stain. This was in the top part, which I've thrown away. The bottom may come in handy as a small container.

Keeps butter soft...but it falls in the water
Maybe I'm doing something wrong by putting too much water in the bottom, but mine isn't working properly.I may see if amazon will exchange it for another.It doesn't seem to make an "air tight" seal at all.Mt butter was very soft, but it fell into the bowl of water.I really wanted to like this product.Meh.

A mistake that turned out great!
I ordered this set without looking close enough to see that it wasn't the similar Weber Style "professional" tool set.
Large, durable, and easy to clean -- what more could you want?
I recommend this set of tools mostly for the size of the tools, durability, and ease of cleaning.They are rather stylish as well, if that matters to you.Along with Weber's 18-inch grill brush (you'll be sorry -- and singed -- if you get the short brush), you'll have all of the tools you need to grill.

Junk
I used these for about a month and ended up never pulling them out of the drawer again. Stickyest non-stick item I have ever used. Even when sprayed with Pam the eggs stick. If the eggs are well scrambled they leak out from under the ring. The one thing correct in the description is that they are easy to take apart. So easy that if you try to use the handle to pick up all four at once it falls apart and drops them all.

Easy to Use....Great Item
I received my egg rings last week and have used them twice now.So far I've got to say I think they're terrific.I make my own McGriddles and Egg McMuffins...saving money on those "quick" drive thru runs.The four rings attach to the handle making it easy to cook several items at one time.I use the handle to remove the rings and set them aside to turnover the eggs or pancakes.I'd recommend them...In fact..I'm ordering a set for my son whose the cook at his house.

My son and daughter are HUGE fans of the Egg McMuffin and wanted to make them at home . So when we found these great little items we ordered them, recieved them quickly and have used them frequently. They work as designed although we found that some eggs (maybe from a different farm?) stick just a bit. To solve this minor problem we just run a butter knife at a slight angle to free them. Great for slow barbeque
The Polder is an excellent device, especially for a slow barbeque when opening the grill dissipates heat.Only fault is that whe I accidently left it out , later rain destroyed it.

This is a great timer.Very easy to use.It's the second time we've purchased this timer.The first one finally stopped working after about 2 years heavy use.We kept the probe, which is fine, as a spare.I give it 4 stars rather than 5 because it would be nice if the alarm was a little louder.It is hard to hear over the sound of frothing milk.Still a great timer.

A Great Cup with a Minor Flaw
This cup measures in multiple units and has extra room at the top, to minimize spills and allow room to mix ingredients in the cup. This means it's larger than other 1 cup measures, which may annoy some users.
Since this one came free....
with the Oxo pastry brush, it is hard to rate it at less than 5-stars.Has been a staple in my kitchen for many many years.Now I can use 1 for dry and one for wet (i.e. for pancakes) without having to stop and wash/dry the single.Way to go, Amazon!

Broken again
This product does the job it is designed for when it works.Unfortunately it just does not last very long.I've had three because I have an expensive, built-in older microwave that doesn't have a rotator so I really need this type of product.I wish there was an alternative.

My first Micro-go-round lasted years, worked fine and enticed me to buy a second one.Wow, it lasted all of 6 months.It was not even worked hard.What happened that something so simple would break so soon.I thought of taking it apart, but better yet I'll just order a second one for the next 6 months.Any bets as to whether it will last that long?

simple things make a difference
Having the pass-through grip revolutionizes this tool. Seems so obvious and simple a fix in retrospect.

Great little tool
I give it 5 stars for scraping but if I needed the numbers printed on the blade, well, they wore off. I don't know whether I accidentally scrubbed them off or the dishwasher suds were too rough. It doesn't matter to us because we don't use the numbers, but if you do, be a little more gentle cleaning it.

I've had 3 scrapers and I can honestly say this is the BEST of them. I crushes from vegetables to dough so easily. The handle allows a very firm grip. Not heavy or too big. It wonderful and I reccommend it without a doubt.

Great for the price
In the process of replacing all of the small appliances in my kitchen, I decided to go with black or black/brushed metal for all of the new items, and I realized it was time for the 11-year-old white drugstore can opener to go. I recoiled at spending over $20 for a can opener, but I didn't want something that wasn't going to do the job; then I found this little beauty on clearance at my local grocery store. What a great product! It certainly fills the bill, in that it's black, and it opens cans! I haven't tried the knife sharpener yet, but this unit does a great job opening cans. It's much quieter than its predecessor, and I have had no problems whatsoever opening large, tall cans. It's true the cutting assembly does pop off a bit too easily, but to me, at this price point, it's also easily popped back on and forgiven. I'd buy this unit again in a second.

great lil opener
Bought this opener because I was tired of trying to open tall cans with an average size electric opener.Not only does it open cans that are taller, but it does it with ease. Locks on can top, stays on through entire cycle. My last opener would often get half way through the can and miss spot before juming off track. Not this one! I am very pleased.

Weird plastic smell
It does work and you dont have to worry about green eggs anymore. But as the plastic egg is boiling there is a strong chemical/ plastic smell in the kitchen that's kind of scary. I hope Im not eating any strange chemicals.

Truly practical as well as beautiful
When my dishwasher broke down I went looking for a nice dish rack until I could get it repaired. My existing dish rack was still good but not at all exciting. I read and re-read the reviews on this dish rack for several weeks before I took the plunge and bought it.It was fairly pricey, and I didn't know if it would be big enough.

Best Cheese Grater yet !
I have bought many cheese graters over the years trying to find the perfect one to grate Cheddar cheese,with it being a soft cheese that's a real test for a grater.....but this is the first grater I have ever bought that did a perfect job...It's easy to crank (because of the larger handle it has) and it's really easy to clean because the grater barrel is bigger around than other graters....I have gotten rid of all my other graters that I have now because this one is simply the best !!!

Wonderful Scale!
After reading over the reviews on this and a couple other scales, I settled on this one and I am very happy I did!It's pocket size has made eating out so much easier.And it's digital readout is absolutely wonderful.I fix many meals at a time and seperate into smaller 'serving size' packets.This scale has made measuring out 2 oz of protein so much easier.The reset key is great too.I can use either the top as a measuring tray or my own plates.What a wonderful kitchen gadget.

The Polder 932-00 Pocket Size Digital Scale is great for monitoring the calories you eat.I have purchased other scales and returned them because they are not accurate in the ounce range and are too big.The Polder is very accurate and very easy to use.It uses the units of grams and ounces.These units match all ingredient labels on food.The tare feature allows me to weigh more items at the same time.I always use the tray for weighing food since it is so easy to wash.The best part is that I can weigh my food after it is cooked.This allows me to eat more food since food shrinks on cooking.The scale's tray is also a cover for the scale.I have taken it on trips, and it works well.The only shortfall is that the scale is very efficient and turns itself off sometimes before I am done.Now that I know this, I work around it.I also purchased another one for my daughter.

Every fridge owner should buy this for their peace of mind.
Somehow we endured a terrible GE fridge that the repair department insisted was working fine from 1998 until last week!Well, our new fridge works because I now get to experience chilled MILK again in my home.I bought this thermometer just the same and my years of privation have left such a mark on me that I will probably always want one of these for whatever fridge I call my own.

Taylor is known for its thermometers.I have used many of them through the years.This professional freezer-refrigerator thermometer is great.We had problems with our refrigerator/freezer and after my husband fixed it, we needed to have an accurate reading on both compartments.We like this one because it is large.You don't even need your glasses to check it to see if your fridge or freezer is in the correct temp. zone because the areas are clearly marked in color.It also responded rapidly when moved between the two compartments.The angle of the dial makes reading very easy.

Handy buy prone to failure
The convenience of these sized bags is great. Unfortunately, I have had to throw at least a third of them away because they won't hold a vacuum. Were it not for that fact, I would have given these five stars.

Foodsaver vs Rival Seal a Meal
These bags are super convenient and they're small enough to portion out a single serving.I bought these for my Rival Seal a Meal since I can't seem to find this pint size by Rival.I've had mixed success in using Foodsaver bags in the Seal-a-Meal, but that's not so much a product flaw.I have noticed however that the Rival bags feel thicker than the Foodsaver bags.Overall these bags are good, and they're a convenient size.
