Easy to use!Makes GREAT chicken!
I love this grill.It makes fantastically moist chicken breasts!I only wish I had gotten one earlier.Easy to clean and store.

Convenient and easy to use.
I was a skeptic about this grill. The whole concept seemed kind of goofy to me. Now, after eating a perfectly cooked salmon fillet this afternoon, I wonder why anyone who doesn't have the room for a traditional grill would go without one of these creatures. The cooking was simple and the cleanup was tremendously easy with the removable plates. Of course, you do not get some of the wonders of a real grill: that smokey flavor, the ability to cook large amounts of food all at once, and, of course, gathering around this grill with a few friends and talking and drinking while you cook is pretty awkward. But what a great product!
Just doesn't get it
I bought my grill after several friends and relatives raved about how well it cooks and how easy it is to use.Well, it is easy to use and easy to clean.And I guess you could say it cooks.But it just doesn't get hot enough to call it a grill, no matter how long you preheat it.You get no carmelization of the outside of food, no brown crunch, no grill lines.The food is cooked but there's no "umph" to it.I've had to take the grilled food and throw it in a frying pan to brown it and make it appealing enough to serve.I'm very disappointed and use mine less and less often.In fact, I'm thinking it will probably be making an appearance at my next garage sale. ... what a waste!?!
I was sooo disappointed with this waffle iron. It's the worst piece of garbage that I have ever purchased.And very poorly made. The waffles stuck to the iron (regardless of the amount of oil used). The bottom grill didn't get hot enough and the top grill got too hot?!? I assumed that it was just a defective iron, so I returned it and was sent a replacement. It too, gave me the same problems. I wasted so much batter on this piece of junk. I threw it in the trash. This product is a total waste of time and money. I would NOT recommend anyone to buy it.

Very Disappointing
I'm very disappointed by how poorly this grill performs. The main problem is that everything sticks to it, no matter how well it is oiled. I followed the directions and can't get it to work properly. It's going into the junk bin!!

Perfect every time!
This is my first panini grill and I love it! Just 4 minutes on medium and I get a perfect evenly grilled panini every time. I think because it automatically adjusts to any thinkness when you put the top of the grill down. Heats up in just a few minutes and clean-up is easy; cheese just wipes off the grill. In a crunch for time, I often buy ungrilled panini sandwiches at the deli and pop them in. I usually cook two at a time but there is room for more.

This grill is perfect for my use.I don't have have a tank of gas in my yard or wait for charcoal to get to the right temp.No fire hazard.All I do is plug it in wait 5 minutes and I have a grill top that browns with grill marks and nothing falls threw the grate.The size is very adequate for my needs.I can grill up to 6 chicken breats at one time.I put the cover on, close the vent, and can ensure proper doneness with juicy flavor. The grill cleans easily. I put aluminum foil over the drip pan and just toss.I found a small grill cover which keeps the unit clean and dry.I just love this grill.

Let the Buyer Beware!
I had another George Foreman grill that I used every day for years. Eventually it died. I loved it! So when it came to buying another, I came to Amazon and started to look at the newer models. I purchased this version, attracted by the timer and heat setting, features not available on the gril I previously owned. And the removeable grills for cleaning! Wow! That must be great! Well, no! Since day one the grills barely attached to the body. Took so much effort to get them to adhere, I took to cleaning it the old fashioned way. Half way through grilling, the top grill would come flying off. Since it was heated up to 425 degrees, there have been quite a few burns, and a couple of close calls with it landing nearly on top of my bare feet. Great concept, very poorly executed. Very disappointed. Does a great job grilling, however.

Cooking is fun, cleanup is not
This grill works best with hamburgers and pre-cooked hot dogs.I seldom used the bun warmer though.The only drawback was the grill plates could not be removed to facilitate eassier cleanups.This eventually made me dread cooking on it because it was such a tedious task to degrease and rinse. The next one I buy will definitely be the one with removable plates.

Get the upgraded grill with the removable plates instead.
I wish I had. This one goes to the Goodwill. Grill plates are fixed and a chore to clean. Grill leaves uncooked areas if height is irregular, like a chicken breast. Hamburgers work best. Watch out for burns!

It's The Best Buy For The Money On The Market Today
This machine is not "breakable" as someone at this page has suggested.If you drop it on a tile floor maybe, or it falls from an airplane. Instead, it's the best buy on the market today. We tested all kinds of panini makers. Even the most expensive still produced just a sandwich. This one makes great panini sandwiches for a whole lot less and it will make four at a time. It has a true floating top that allows for sandwiches 2 to 2 and 1/2 inches thick. It's easy to clean off with a paper towel after cooking. It's nonstick so you don't have to add calories with oil or butter. Make a good panini bread yourself or get a nice sourdough roll and slice thinly.Wonderful!

My friend purchased the Breadman Panini Maker a few months ago.Every time we spoke he was making some kind of Panini sandwich.He raved about this panini maker so I had to get one for myself.I LOVE IT!It is so easy to clean.It is such a wonderful item that I would've paid double the price if I new how well it worked. Cooks good food, but not smokeless
All considered, I decided to give this Sanyo indoor grill a 5-star rating.It's probably more like 4.5 stars, but Amazon doesn't allow that.I'll explain.
Thrill of the Grill
Love this grill. There are three major parts to this grill, a lightweight plastic frame, the actual grill grate with the electric built into it, and the electric cord. There is also a lightweight drip tray. It amazed me that something so simple could cook food as well as my large propane Weber grill. I love that there is no gas to have to run to the store to get, love that I don't have to worry about not having enough gas to cook the meal. The food cooks perfectly. I start most things on high to sear the meat then turn it down with a result of tender on the inside and crisp on the out. Smoke/steam is minimal especailly if you spray the grill before you turn it on. It has ample grilling space without being crowded. I find it as easy to clean as any other pan I would cook with. I let the grill soak elevated in hot soapy water. Food tastes much better cooked on this than baked in an oven. I love mine!

Great Easy Cleaning
I had bought my first George Foreman grill at Walmart and it made my food taste exactly like a charcoal grill, but the cleaning was horrible and lengthy.

I had a standard Foreman grill for about a year, and never used. When I did use it, it sat on the counter for days because cleaning it was such a pain in the neck.

Broke quickly
I used one of the small George Foreman's for years without any big problems. I got rid of it because it was too small and the non-stick coating was coming off. This bigger grill I bought a year ago and really liked it. It's big and cooks things well, draining the fat. But, it broke already, just a little over a year later (after the warranty expired). Seems way too soon for an appliance to break. I was only using it 4 times a week. So, I would recommend it but don't expect it to last very long.

Great machine, Great repair service
I have had the Maxi 2-in-1 Panini Press for almost two years, and it has been about the perfect machine.As other reviewers have pointed out, it handles different thicknesses of sandwiches very well.It makes a perfect Reuben sandwich, and every other grilled sandwich that I have attempted.It is an extremely solid machine that is heavy and looks very classy..It is the only appliance that I have ever owned that I wouldn't change a thing about. The other day I found that my plastic handle was broken (don't know how that happened), so I called their toll-free number, and they immediately e-mailed me out a pre-paid FedEx sticker to send the old machine back.In about 2 weeks I received a replacement machine.It amazed me because I just assumed that I would have to pick up the tab for the replacement handle and the shipping charges.

Multitalented
I like the adjustable top grill more than anything except maybe the smooth easy clean teflon surfaces. The adjustable top makes it easy to create great omelettes. But then bacon does not work because there is too much fat and water for the smooth top so it overflows.

I purchased the Panini Press for a Father's Day gift for my husband.I was very interested in the Breville brand because I purchased their toaster a few months ago and the design and function is outstanding!Anyway, my husband likes leftover pizza for lunch and doesn't like it in the microwave.Consequently, he often gets out our heaviest pan and turns the flame on high underneath it and...WALKS AWAY!The phone rings, he lets the dogs out, whatever:there is always something to distract him and our kitchen smells like burnt to a crisp pizza!

Best for one person
I bought it for $10 a few years ago. This is great if you can "cook" at work. Just throw a frozen hamberger patty and you have something to eat in 10 mins. But the surface is really small, so you can only cook small quantity at a time. Also cleaning is not as easy as they say. You can't throw it in the dishwasher. The grill outside gets sticky from the greasy fume so in that respect it takes more work to clean. Inside is pretty much wiping off the juice and the residue but I use soapy water and a sponge so I have to do that a few times as well. If you are single, live in a bachelor/studio or stove-less environment like a student, this is a great addition to a microwave. ... Read more

Good while it lasted
I loved our panini grill.Unfortunately it lasted for less than 3 months and as it was a gift they didn't honor the warranty (no proof of purchase).For the few weeks it worked it was great.But overall, not worth the money because you'll have to replace it in 3 months.

Solid Unit - Good Value
Makes a nice replacement for the George Foreman grill in that it can do steaks, burgers, chicken breasts - AND does a great job with the Panini! The floating top grill helps provide even grilling across the entire surface of the meat or Panini. It seems well built, heats up fast, and cooks evenly. The indicator lights are a little hard to see in a bright kitchen, so that could be better. The manual is all of one page of actual usage instructions, but it did come with a nice cookbook with lots of great panini ideas. All-in-all, a pretty nice unit.

Greatness in the form of a grill
My fiance and I received this as a shower gift last week and the G2 made its debut this past weekend.It has exceeded all expectations.Cooked a full hot breakfast in the morning and by noon I was flipping patty melts.Cleanup was not too bad.Just let it cool off and wiped it with some paper towels and soapy water.I highly suggest that every human run out and buy this item.This weekend the G2 will be travelling to the football game to be introduced to some tailgating.

Excellent Product!
This grill/griddle is so much better than my previous grill.I love the dual temperature controls.It's much more convenient that having all of the individual plates...where do you put the hot "used" plate when you want to use another one right away??This one is "all in one" and wonderful!

When the weather is too cold to stand outside over the gas grill, fire up the Perfecto indoor grill instead. This electric grill has an embedded heating element and a special M-shaped grill design so the entire surface area heats up and grilling results are more consistent. I love this grill - it is extremely easy to clean.Truly a non-stick grill unlike my Calphalon grill pan that is very difficult to clean.Works great with chicken and fish and the lid is a wonderful extra feature.

FUN French/Swiss/European Eating

You can't beat Raclette!
I first tried a Raclette prepared meal in 2002 while visiting my fiancee's parents in Lyon, France. Needless to say I was hooked straight away. Although Raclette meals can be heavy (potatoes, cheese and various meats and veg), they are extremely good.

Good raclette
I bought this raclette a couple of months ago.It is very easy to clean (you can put most parts in the dishwasher).The only thing that I overlooked when I bought this item is the fact that you cannot control the heat (only on/off).That does bother me at times.Other than that it is very good price/quality.

Nice introductory set
For the price, the T-Fal is not bad. The set does not come with spatula or turner so you need to get your own. The light coat of nonstick and the construction makes it feel durable enough for occational but not frequent use. The lack of variable temperature control makes it a little more work to just enjoy if you have to unplug and plug to prevent the food from burning.
