4-0 out of 5 stars Good replacement carafe
This is a good replacement carafe. The original was nicer though, to bad it shattered. This one fits well but has a little drip when pouring, if you perfect your pour you can get it to not drip. This will break, as mine is already in the garbage.Amazon's price is the best.Love the Free Super Saver Shipping!!

5-0 out of 5 stars a Kick-Ass Carafe!
This is one kick-ass carafe! It's pyrex & plastic at it's finest. I highly recommed this kick-ass carafe.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Works Great with my Coffee Maker

5-0 out of 5 stars Interesting coffee
This system makes the best iced coffee I ever had.People that have trouble with draining the coffee or other problems are doing it wrong.I'm not the shapest tool in the shed, but I was able to figure the Toddy system out.My Bunn that I paid over a hundred dollars for is down in the basement collecting dust and waiting for a part due to a recall. The Toddy system is easy, convient, safe and makes great coffee.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best thing since sliced bread
Easy to use, makes delicious coffee and is always available to make a single cup or more. How do you beat that?

5-0 out of 5 stars 'Zen' Coffeemaker
Sometimes it's the simplest things that work the best, taste the best, etc. This 'unplugged' coffee maker may look cheap, but it's held up through 3 moves, 1 other (traditional) coffee maker's replacement, and it's still going. I should buy stock in the company. If you like coffee, but don't like the jitters, get this toddy maker. If you're looking for a gift for the chef who has everything, get this toddy maker for him/her. GREAT for desserts.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best K-Cup bold coffees
Most of the K-Cup strong brews really aren't very strong when you compare them to Starbucks, and some of them are even rather weak. The Lake & Lodge brew is actually quite good for abold K-Cup coffee. I've tried the Timothy's brand but I think this is better. Enjoy! ... Read more

This cute handheld milk frother is fun and easy to use; British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson recommends it over steam-driven frothers. Plus, in addition to its most popular use--creating delicate foam for homemade cappuccinos, lattes, or hot chocolates-- the Aerolatte milk frother can be used for other, equally yummy treats. An enclosed recipe sheet offers ideas for fruit "shakes" and coffee frappes that can be made with any kind of cow, goat, sheep, soy or rice milk! Some restaurant chefs even froth milk to foam garnish earthy soups. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Little Gadget
This really works, and we get a lot of use out of it. As other reviewers have said, it does take a little experimenting to get the hang of it, but it's well worth it. The only thing I might add is while I have finally gotten to the point where I am getting good frothy milk, I don't know if I would go as far as saying the end product is exactly like a coffee house latte or cappuccino. But it's darn close, and a hell of a lot cheaper.

5-0 out of 5 stars Aerolatte Milk Frother
I was skeptical about this little product, but was extremely pleased with the results.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great foam if you have the right technique
This is a great foam maker - if you have the right technique. If you don't sink the Aerolatte deep enough into the milk, you will have too rough bubbles, and too deep will just stir the milk ;)We have the feeling that the batteries don't last very long, but on the other hand we use it every day for 8 weeks... ... Blend, froth, and whip milk, egg whites, and creams without bringing out the mixing bowl. Just grab the Caffe Froth Turbo's easy to hold body, insert the frothing disc into the liquid, and activate top button. The disc is small enough to fit into most cups and not damage the material. Move the disc slowly up and down, while being careful not to bring the disc above the liquid. When the mixture is fully frothed, remove the Caffe Froth Turbo and enjoy. This product is great for creating froth for espresso drinks, blending shakes, and whipping cream. As you hand wash the frother, soak the stem and disk in soapy water and then wipe with a damp cloth. Be careful not to submerge the upper portion of the machine in water. Comes with a plastic protective sheath and attachable ring holder to hang the unit from walls. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great value and easy to clean
Recently bought the KitchenAid BCG100WH Blade Coffee Grinder to replace my Braun coffee grinder and I can say that I am really impressed. I have had the KitchenAid grinder for about 2 weeks now and it is the best low cost grinder that I have played with. First off the noise level when grinding is a lot less than that of Braun. It is still loud, but it is more like a car without its muffler versus a 767 talking off. Second, it is super easy to clean. Before the Braun would take forever to clean as grinds would get stuck is the seam between the metal and the plastic. With the KitchenAid, the entire basin is metal and dishwasher safe. The plastic cover does occasionally get grind it the lip, but they quickly wash out with a rinse of water. As for the grind quality, it does a good job, but you are not going to use this with your expresso machine.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great For Grinding Flax Seeds
My main reason for purchasing this coffee grinder was not for coffee beans but for flax seeds. I had been using a mortar and pestle for my flax seeds every morning but grew tired of doing that. I researched for awhile and liked that the metal grinder chamber could be removed for cleaning. That was my main concern, since I was using it for flax seeds/spices and not coffee. I found this to be the only model that had it. The grind is not always consistent but it doesn't really matter to me. It is so simple to use, easy to clean up and it does not make a huge mess like I had read. The only negative comment I have is, it is a bit loud, but that's like all grinders and choppers. I have a number of KitchenAid products and I am always very pleased with them. I have been using this for 4 months now and my wrists are happy to have the mortar and pestle in storage. I purchased this grinder for $29.99 and that's a great deal.

3-0 out of 5 stars Uneven grind
I bought this grinder for a couple of reasons, based on some of the other user reviews.First, I love that the grinding chamber is removable for cleaning and emptying. It's not exactly unique, but it's useful nonetheless. Many of the reviews that I read said that this particular blade grinder had a very consistent grind. With my experience over the last month since I've purchased it, this is simply not true. The grind has been very uneven, with some very course grind mixed with parts that almost like powder. This is probably the most important part of an appliance, so if you're looking for the quality of the grind, look elsewhere.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best coffee maker I have owned
I agree with so many others: this is the best home coffee maker. One does need to read the manual carefully. As Michael Stack on Aug. 12, 2006 says in his review, "...it's a bit counter intuitive."His review was most helpful in my decision.I have a Cuisinart coffee maker with the grinder. It was always a pain to clean and put back together daily. This is easy to clean and quick. The aroma flows through the house when brewing, and wakes me in the morning.Coffee is delicous compared to the Cuisinart.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best available grind and brew
I recently purchased the new Capresso grind and brew to replace the older model which I have had for about 7 years.Yes, I have read reviews that contained negative comments, however I believe most of the problems expressed are actually human operator problems.Yes, you do have to put the filter basket in correctly and you do have use a course grind if you use oily beans so the grinder channel does not get clogged. It works great for me and I love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Also surprised by the negative comments....
I bought this coffee maker recently as I was looking for an all in one unit that allowed me to automatically brew coffee every morning. After reading the negative reviews I held off my decision to buy for a while and then decided to purchase and boy am I glad I bought this baby.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Machine
I bought this coffee maker about a month and a half ago and I love it!It is so easy to use, and takes no time to clean up.The only negative that I have found, is that there are some k-cups that are too weak.I stick with Green Mtn. Coffee and it taste great. If you are looking for a machine that makes a good cup of coffee and there is no hassles with filters, this is it.

2-0 out of 5 stars Needs steroids
I'm sorry, but this unit makes very weak coffee.I really wanted to like this thing, because of the great variety of coffee choices available, but many of them are just barely drinkable.I have to go along with a reviewer on another site who said that it's OK the Keurig doesn't make a full mug, because you wouldn't want to drink a full mug of this stuff anyway.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Cup of Coffee in your home
This little machine makes as good, if not better, than any Starbucks or coffee house. Not near the expense or the trouble to get.I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys a "good" cup of coffee to start the day.I also purchasedthe my k cup reuseable coffee filter and it works great!!!! ... This is one programmable coffeemaker that's actually very easy to program. The touch-pad buttons are intuitive, and the printed directions clear, so there's no excuse for not waking up to the aroma of a freshly brewed pot of java. To prepare for making a pot at any hour, the lid lifts up (hinges in rear), exposing the brew basket: add a flat-bottomed paper filter and the ground coffee of your choice. There's ample pour space for water, the level of which you can view through a convenient window on either side. Simply close the lid and push the On button. Auto/On and the clock buttons set the time for delayed start. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great coffeemaker
I recently bought this from Amazon. It was shipped promptly and I received it in excellent condition, much sooner than I expected. It is so easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee. There is no way it would leak on the counter if you put the pot back on the warmer correctly. It only fits in a certain way. My advice is go ahead and buy it, for the price, you won't find anything better.

5-0 out of 5 stars It works
I got it and it not only looks great it works. That's what we are all looking for any way in a great coffee maker.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Coffee on the market!

A handy workhorse for homes where tea is a staple, this 3.0-liter Micom pot from Zojirushi boils water then keeps it hot. Equipped with a handy electric dispenser, the unit requires no pouring and makes it easy to fill mug after mug or add a quick shot of hot water to a bowl of oatmeal or ramen. A micro-computerized heating system monitors water temperature precisely and includes a re-boil mode and three keep-warm settings of 175, 195, or 208 degrees F. In addition, a dechlorinating mode helps reduce chlorine and odors, while a descaling mode cleans the interior pot. The unit also has a timer so you can program it to have water hot on your schedule. 5-0 out of 5 stars Should have gotten this long ago!
My sister has 2 of Zojirushi's air pump model always going in her house.I don't even think that she owns a kettle any longer.I loved the idea of never having to wait to have any kind of warm drink or soup but I have medical issues and did not have the strength to keep pushing the pump.
4-0 out of 5 stars Hot.
Does a fine job of heating water and keeping it hot. It seems like a safe design too, with a sealing top and an automatic lockout switch that would be somewhat baby-resistant.
5-0 out of 5 stars Top of the Line of Hot Water Pots
We started drinking lots of tea and I was tired of nuking it in the mircowave, plus sometimes you just want some luke warm water but it comes out of the faucet freezing cold in winter. So the electric hot water pot seemed to be the ticket.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Coffee Maker I Have Ever Owned
We have had it for about four months with absolutely no complaints.Friends who have seen it went out and bought one.The complaints about short time staying hot are from people who don't read the manual. You can easily set it for 4 hours and, unlike typical hot plates on carafes, this one keeps the coffee hot without burning it.Easy to clean.

1-0 out of 5 stars Loved it until this morning.
I have had the Cuisinart DCC-2000 Coffeemaker for about six months or so and loved it.This morning, however, it decided to stop working correctly. I left the kitchen while it was brewing and all of the coffee leaked all over the counter. What a mess!I then made just 2 cups and put a coffee cup under the spout and watched it.Sure enough as the coffee was brewing the spout was spewing.I don't know what coffeemaker to buy now.

1-0 out of 5 stars Good Coffee - Bad Quality Control
I am about to return my third DCC-2000. These coffeemakers make great coffee and they are just the style I want. Everything worked great on the first one, but it only made one pot of coffee and then everything died. I returned it and got another one. The second one kept brewing OK, but I was never able to set the time of day or the Auto On/Auto Off times. I took that one back and got a third one. This one is like the second one except that I can set Auto On and Off times, but still can't set the time of day.

3-0 out of 5 stars doesn't produce as rich as hand packed
First of all, it is silly to buy food in large quantity before you taste it. I got a package of 12 pods from my local starbucks for 4.95. I used it with my Saeco Via Veneto Espresso machine, it is on the lower end but nontheless a serious machine and could produce excellent espresso. However, the pod contains less than half what i usually pack and produce far inferior espresso with much less cream and aroma. And for the same money, you can buy four or five times more espresso grind. If you do not like the mess, get a tamper that fits the size of your machine.

1-0 out of 5 stars Pour out the grounds???
I wish I had read some of these reviews before I bought both the caff and decaff pods, along with my Mr. Coffee Espresso maker. My first 2 tries yielded a liquid that looked like very weak tea. It's messy to cup open the pods and get the grounds into the little basket. So I dumped them all into a jar.
5-0 out of 5 stars Espresso Shot vs. a Coffee Cup
It is truly amazing that people don't know the difference between espresso pods and coffee pods. Espresso pods are used for making a "shot" of espresso and coffee pods will make a "single cup" of coffee, big difference. These are ESPRESSO PODS and should be used in a ESPRESSO MACHINE, not a coffee machine. Secondly, the "standard" pod for espresso is called "ESE" or easy serving espresso and that is what these pods are made for. Anyone that bought them and tried them in a pod coffee machine like a Black & Decker or Senseo found out that they don't work. Nobody should cut them open unless they want to pay 5x more for espresso or fine ground coffee. Get yourself a ESE espresso machine and do it the right way. ... Read more

Editorial Review

A virtually unbreakable polycarbonate carafe makes this coffee press sturdy enough for picnics or camping. To use a French press, grounds are placed in the bottom of the (preheated with hot water, if possible) carafe, then near-boiling water added. The lid with its stainless-steel rod and filter is pushed down after a few minutes of steeping, and the coffee is ready to pour. Many coffee aficionados swear by the French press method. The Hugo features a second mesh screen in the lid that removes even more of the coffee grounds sediment typically left behind by most coffee presses.Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars BonJour Unbreakable French Press Broke
The inside plastic bottom press plunger part broke with the first 2 weeks of use. It simply broke into pieces. We used it 8 times or so before this happened.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great for travellers
I read here that quite a few people have had problems with the screens and/or the plunger part breaking. I haven't had that problem with mine at all, but I'm careful not to grind my coffee too fine and I press very carefully.
2-0 out of 5 stars What a disapointment
Makes great coffee some times. If one is not very careful, the coffee will shoot out the top when you press the plunger and scald the coffee maker!Even with the little tab turned to block the spout, has an unbreakable flask yet the inside press part just broke apart after one month. Editorial Review

Turn nonfat milk into a wonderful foamy topping for your favorite coffee drink, adding richness without the fat. (Whole milk may be used, but nonfat really does give the best results.) Just add milk, pump, and serve. Don't be tempted to overfill--and be sure to pump gently to prevent the milk from spurting out. If you prefer hot froth, remove the plunger after pumping and pop the carafe into the microwave. A fat-free topping for fruit or dessert is just seconds away, embellished with sugar and/or vanilla if you like. The long-handled scoop lets you get every last spoonful, and the color-coordinated coaster provides a protective perch. All pieces of the set are top-rack dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended. Before washing, unscrew the screen assembly from the frother rod so that you can wipe off the milky residue thoroughly. Read more

Features

  • Froths 10 to 12 ounces of milk for coffee drinks
  • Stylish carafe and domed stainless-steel lid with color-accent acrylic knob
  • Stainless-steel plunger and frothing screen, with lifetime warranty against rust
  • Easy-pour spout
  • Color-coordinated nonskid coaster and long-handled scoop included

4-0 out of 5 stars Magic Foamer
I got it for making foam for my coffee when I'm out camping without my expresso machine. It's so simple, I can't see why it costs so much, but WOW it makes perfectly creamy milk foam in about 5 seconds. If you want warm foam, you can either heat the milk before you foam it, or microwave the foam after you make it.Either way it makes better foam than my expresso machine's steam foamer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love It!
I recieved this for Christmas and I use my mainlyto make light frothy shakes. I add a little sweetner and vanilla extract then top with cinnamon. It makes a delicious low calorietreat. I am a little confused b the previous review. My frother does not have a screw or nut to hold it together. Rather the whole bottom piece screws on, but if it is not placed right -is upside down-then it won't fit back together. Mine did come with a diagram showing how the pieces fit together if you take it apart. I would also suggest to anyone should they be missing a screw-to take their parts to Home Depot or Lowe's or a similiar place and I am sure they could help find the right size replacement part. I love my little gadget and should mine break would quickly order another!

4-0 out of 5 stars Loved it, but cannot find a replacement for a lost part
I got this about a year ago, and loved it. We had the best coffee with this frothe. It was low-tech...you do not need electricity or battery to operate it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hamilton Beach 47454 found satisfactory
We've been using this coffeemaker at work for a month, and it's far better than the old Mr. Coffee because the HB BrewStation doesn't 'fry' to coffee.Four hours of warming takes a pot up to lunchtime, and then sometimes I clean the carafe and simply make hot water for afternoon tea, which stays hot all afternoon.
5-0 out of 5 stars This is fantastic.
This is much better then my first brewstation- it hasn't leaked, it seems to have a tighter seal. I have M.S.- Multiple Sclerosis, I can't use carafes, because I have a shaking hand. I don't have to worry with the pouring of coffee with this. And it matches my silver & black appliances.

4-0 out of 5 stars Still needs just a little improvement
I bought the first brewstation but after 2 years it started leaking from the dispenser and it was nothing you could do to fix it.I really had gotten use the 1-handed dispensing though and went for the step-up.The biggest problem with the new brewstation is I do not like the seive like brew basket (can be used with or without paper filters) being your only brew basket. Unless you have you coffee pot next to a garbage can get use to coffee streaming into the floor as you take the old grounds to the can before brewing another pot. It does this with or without a paper filter. All in all I still like it a lot, especiallythe newly designed "on" switch and "program" switch. The older designed brewstation had one switch that you hit once for brew and twice for program. It seemed like I was constantly making coffee when I meant to hit program or waiting on coffee to find I had set it to program. (The only problem I have found so far with this coffee pot is the filter basket.) ... Read more
