convenience at a price
My wife and I only drink one cup a day and we have different preferences for flavor, caffination, etc.So a single brew machine is ideal for us.We're both very pleased with the taste and convenience of the B-60.Because the cofee is brewed directly into the cup, there's no burned or "stale" taste from an automatic drip machine carafe/hotplate.There's the great convenience of just pushing a button and simple clean-up.The variety of K-cup coffees on the market easily meets our needs.

Great coffee maker that makes a good cup of coffee and a good cup of tea.If you're exceptionally picky about your coffee, you might be disappointed since it does not rival a well-made fresh ground cup of joe, but the Keurig allows you to brew a good cup of coffee and tailor it to your specific tastes.My wife likes decaf and I like strong caffeinated coffee, so this offers the ability to make everyone happy.The selection of k-cups for both tea and coffee is much better than other single cup systems.The coffee from Timothy's is my favorite, especially the ultra dark roasts.The other plus for this unit over the other pod systems is that you can purchase a small filter which allows you to use your OWN custom ground coffee and blends.Good selection of teas from Twinings and Celestial Seasonings.System brews a good cup of tea that is smotth and not bitter.The downside is that we haven't found a good local source and have had to buy from the internet from both Amazon and Ebay. Ebay allows you to buy individual k-cups so that you can sample different blends and brands before you buy the big boxes. Local stores have just a few brands and don't reflect the much larger variety available for the Keurig system vice the other pod systems.We're glad we bought this unit!!
Best single-serve coffee maker available!
I agree with the Mad Hatter. This machine is very attractive and well-made. It can be Ready to Brew at all times [if you leave it on]. Until I received the "MY K-CUP", I didn't like most of the coffee choices. Now I can use my own coffee beans! I use 1/2 coffee scoop of my coffee for a Travel Mug size.

I have always used the water filters and had no complaints.Just make sure you soak them for a few minutes and run a few cups of water (no coffee) through your coffee maker when you put a new one in.This will eliminate any stray charcoal in the first pot of coffee you brew with a new filter.

green mountain signature coffee variety
Our coffee shipment arrived last week in good shape with an expiration of 02/2007 (I was worried about the expiration date based on another reviewer's experience).There are two boxes that contain 24 cups each with a total of three roasts (one light, one medium, one dark).We really like the medium roast Vermont Country Blend and mild roast Breakfast Blend, especially when we set our Keurig B70 to the extra large (11.25 oz) cup size.The French Roast is also good for those who prefer darker roasts.This is an excellent value (48 cups for approx $17 plus our shipping was free...better than anywhere else I've looked) especially if you drink a lot of non-flavored coffee and your household members have different roast preferences.

After reading the previous review, I was a bit skeptical about the coffee and expiration date, but decided to try it because it was such a great price.I just received my order and the expiration date is 03/07. Poor quality - way too loud
The first thing I noticed was how loud this device is - it'll wake up the whole house! The grinder worked fine for 30 days and then just died.Cheap plastic construction is not made to last.Save your money buy something more expensive and of higher quality.

Silicon the Rim is porous and is leaking
I just sad that a company of that stature, cannot "glue" together the carafe with the rim. It was leaking, had to disassembe it and spent $10 on silikon. No wonder we cannot compete with the Germans, Chinese, or even wood carvers...

Percolated coffee is an acquired taste, but for those who like it strong and black, this stovetop coffee pot is the way to go. The percolator's polished stainless steel exterior and stepped base give it a vintage look and its brewing methods are strictly old school; however, its construction is completely up to date. Water pours into the bottom of the pot and the pump tube with the filter basket goes in next. Coffee drinkers add their grinds to the filter basket and then place the cover over the basket. Good while it lasted
Suited my needs for reasonable coffee and milk steamer for about 8 months. Cheapie knob for switching from coffee to steamer is a bugger. Steam is now leaking inside somewhere in steamer mode causing serious heating of the top of the unit, nasty noises, and fear of explosion. I descale it every month so I don't think I mistreated it. Did get daily use and was only $[...] but I think it should still last more than 8 months.

I had a very expensive espresso maker that sprung a leak in less than a year, so I went the cheap route.
Buy this if you want to burn your coffee (or cash)
This espresso machine burns coffee grind because it takes too long for pressurized water to flow through the grind. I am not sure if my particular machine is defective but it takes about 2-3 minutes for 50ml of water to flow through. The result - just one pure shot of burnt espresso! This is not even the case of what you get is what you paid for. I don't think anyone would pay $[...] something bucks for making burnt espresso. Don't waste your cash. Try something a little bit more expensive, and hopefully it will be better than this one. To be fair, the frother did seem to work fine.

Met All Expectations
So far so good.Makes great tasting coffee.Brews coffee as fast or faster than those "drip machines".Two minor complaints - I wish it had an indicator light to show the unit is plugged in, and should have a water level indicator.

Got a deal on the machine, and love the concept.But every senseo coffee I have tasted has been absolutely horrible.I've tried 4 oz with one pod- way too bitter so 8 oz with 1 pod...still the most awful coffee I've ever had.Normally I drink Gevalia, but I use Folgers sometimes or Millstone...

After I figured it out I think it is a very, very good idea
When I received this thermos, at first I thought there was something wrong with it.For some reason I had the idea that to pour you had to flip up the top.Finally I went to the Amazon.com website and read about it again, it said to twist and pour.So I put some water in it to try it, and voila it poured like a charm.Whoever thought of the idea to leave the cap on (thus retaining most of the heat, which would escape otherwise) had a very, very good idea.The only thing I would change is there would be more specific directions so dummies like me understand better how it works.After I figured it out there is no way this would not be a very good thermos, if not the best! :)

i love this thermos!i fill it up in the morning with hot coffee and it will keep it hot all day.one time i accidently left it at work overnight, so i wasn't able to fill it up the next morning.i knew there was a little left in the thermos, and since i'm pretty much addicted to the stuff i decided to suck it up and drink bad, cold coffee.to my amazement it was still very warm (though not hot) and entirely drinkable!

EXCELLENT!
I have used this filter with my Grind-n-Brew for 2 years. I put it in the dishwasher at least twice and have never had any problems with it. I have no idea what these other reviewers are doing wrong, but I love this filter. I never have grounds in my coffee. There is always a little darker/thicker coffee in the bottom of a good cup of coffee!
Totally disappointed
I bought this item with the impression that permanent coffee filters made coffee taste better, but I can honestly say it doesn't.Once more, there are still grounds in my coffee and a disgusting syrup at the bottom of my cup.I'm not sure if the filter I got is bad.It did come from Amazon and I haven't had problems with anything I've got from them, so I'm not necessarily accusing them of giving me bad product, but I'll leave that open for later interpretation.

That's what I have to say.I measured with a tape measure and took the time on bodum site to compare dimensions.I always get 3 full MUGS - for me that's your usualy 3 finger hold greasy spoon style mug.So, This 4 cup thing must be those little coffee cups that grandma uses.

After reading the reviews, I decided to try these, since I wasn't too thrilled with either the cost or quality of the senseo pods. After getting my three sets in the mail, I went to my grocery store, bought the Starbucks Sumatra whole beans, ground them to expresso grind, and went to try the ecopads. I followed the instructions, put the ecopad in the machine (perfect fit), hit the 8oz button, and wa - la! I would challenge anyone to tell the difference between the stuff you pay $3.50 a cup for at Starbucks. I'm definately hooked. I can't see how other reviewers have had problems with these. They are easy to fill, and fit perfectly in the machine. They are a bit messy to clean up, but its a fair trade off for the awesome coffee and the cost savings over the pods or actually going to starbucks. I would estimate I will get 50-60 cups out of a $6 store bought bag of coffee. Basically, one heaping teaspoon fills up the ecopad perfectly. Also I would estimate getting hundreds of uses out of each ecopad - they seem very durable. I am looking forward to trying different coffee's with these. Well worth the tiny investment!

Works perfectly
If you know how to grind your own beans (and adjust that grind) it'll work great!Easy to fill and clean if you don't mind putting forth a minimum of effort.If you want a quick hassle-free cup of coffee buy the regular gross senseo pods, if you want to take 2 minutes to brew an excellent cup of your favorite coffee, buy the ecopad.

Useful, but don't lose that lid!
When I tried the Senseo with the original Douwe Egberts medium roast coffee I was hit by how harsh and acidic it was, so I decided to try it with the EcoPads and the same coffee I usually use with the Toddy cold-brew system. The coffee made this way tasted slightly weak, oddly, and you can only make a single 4 oz cup at a time when using the EcoPad because of the way it fits in the holder. However, it was enough for me to realize that the main problem was the Douwe Egberts coffee, not the Senseo process.

Amazing!
I have had this product for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! Cocoa ALWAYS comes out perfect. I've never used it for other drinks as I am not a coffee drinker, but I assume they come out just as good as the cocoa! I would recommend this to anyone :) :)

I received this item as a gift and it was the best present anyone could have given me! Not an item I would typically buy for myself, this hot cocoa maker has changed the way I feel about hot chocolate and other warm beverages. It is so easy to use allowing anyone to make Starbucks quality hot chocolate (and other beverages) out of store-bought powders at home. It's AMAZING!!!And every time it heats it to the perfect temperature making sure that even the youngest don't burn their tongues.
Many flaws and problems...makes a good cup of cocoa though.

Good concept - Unreliable
Worked great on first usuage.By the 4th time I used the unit, it would boil for a minute past boiling, spewing steam and water out of the pot. Yes the metal pot does get hot, but I like the stainless steel. I am reordering a replacement unit due to the strong recommendations of other owners.I was very disappointed that Target was unable to handle my return.

Good Coffee Pot
I bought this to use on the stove top of a travel trailer.This is much better than the aluminum camp mess kit pots I have also used.The stainless steel is sturdier and more attractive.There is a spring on the pump that pushes the basket tight to the lid, virtually eliminating the spill over of grounds you get with the simpler, mess kit percolators.And the plastic handle means you don't need a potholder or towel or sweater hem to safety pour from the pot.Since reading the other reviews about the plastic lid top breaking, I have been using my fingernails to help lift the lid from the rim.This is a good coffee pot, and the price is right.

I got tired of the drip and wanted something new to me. I read somuch about the plastic top and worried. I saw the replacement glass cost $8. I also had no Idea how to do this thing. Well, it's been 3 nice days of excellent coffee. I get about 20 cups from 1 lb. of coffee at the strength I like. At Costco price, that's about $6 for 20 cups or .30 a cup. It tastes much better than Starbucks, but requires work and attention.

A Terrific Espresso Maker!
I used to use an all-glass $150 Cona vacuum pot to make coffee. Then I discovered the Aeropress. It not only makes better coffee, it's smaller, not fragile, easier to use and faster to clean.
What a cuppa Joe!
I bought this for my sister, but just had to try it out...spend some time reading the instructions, it sounds like a lot, but once you do it it's a piece of cake. Makes some of the best coffee I've ever tasted, stores neatly too. I will be giving away the other 4 coffee makers I have, this is it. You can make a concentrate that stores in the fridge, expresso for two or americano for 4. You must use the right grind, ( drip or expresso) scoop the coffee in the tube after placing a filter (1 year supply included) in the bottom screw on mesh. Drizzle some hot but not boiling water on to the grounds to wet them , them pour in the water to measure for how many cups you want from 1 to 4, stir the water and grounds 10 sec. then put in plunger and press SLOWLY down. By using water around 165 degrees, ie not boiled, you get flavor smoothness and richness. Then you put the concentrate in a cup and now you can add boiling water if you want it really hot.
