Poor design- not worth it
I thought that this was a great price to pay for a burr grinder. However, a key feature of the grinder malfuctioned and broke within 3 months of purchase. The bin that the ground coffee goes into must be engaged, locked in, to a little tab in the base of the grinder. Within no time at all we had a hard time getting the tab to stay put. Within 3 months we were holding it in place during the entire grinding. We tried cleaning it, but that didn't work. It is a real shame, because the grinder itself works great.

You get what you pay for
The coffeemaker is a piece of junk. I bought this for my son for his birthday and he got it and it worked two times and then it didnt come back on. So I sent it back and they replaced it with another one and it worked for the first day and it quit working too. So I requested a refund.

I was online searching endlessly for a coffeemaker that had certain features. Well this one was the perfect size, it had a timer and the stainless steel feature was what i was looking for. I had read the reviews on this product and none of them were good, but the price was right so i gave it a try. Better than Starbuck's
This machine is really just as advertised - one touch capuccino and espresso with enormous customization. You can adjust the coffee strength independent of the volume (ristretto to lungo).The milk frother works wonderfully with good tight foam, and is mixed with the coffee in the cup in perfect ratio.It produces capuccino just as good as Starbucks (assuming you use Starbucks beans), and more consistent (sometimes, depending on the barista, the capuccino can be weaker or stronger based on the amount of milk added).
Robust for even a small company
This machine has now been going strong in the breakroom of my 100 person company for more than 9 months. Ever since we got the machine, people have drastically reduced making their trips to nearby Starbucks. Everybody loves the machine because of its simplicity and ease of use. Lot of people just use the frothed milk only feature as well. The cleaning is simple as well.

Great for Hot Water during travel
We used this while traveling overseas - mainly for heating up water.We were able to make tea, hot chocolate, instant soup, oatmeal, etc.It was great!!It's a very compact little machine that makes hot water (or coffee) straight into a little cup that it comes with (which nests on top for storage).

What is "8 cups", anyway?
Because I was very happy with the Black and Decker Kitchen Tools 8-cup coffeemaker I used for more than ten years, the world's most perfect coffeemaker until it just stopped working one Monday morning, all I wanted was a machine to take its place, with an 8-cup stainless steel thermal carafe and digital timer.After using this one for a few days, I recognize that most of my adjustment "issues" (i.e., placement of the buttons, LCD screen which can't be seen in a dark kitchen) just are differences I'll get used to, but what's puzzling is this:to make "four cups" (half a pot) in my old machine, I measured out 22 ounces of water.The TCM700 carafe, according to the box, only holds 36 ounces, for a "full" pot. So it isn't just store packages (i.e., the bags and cans of supermarket coffee which mimic the old pounds, but are only twelve ounces, at most) which are shrinking.

Best coffee maker ever!
We've had a Capresso machine before this one, but there were a couple of annoying little plastic parts (the stop-drip lever, for instance), that required replacement a few times. Nonetheless, the actual machine brewed good strong coffee, so we were overall pleased, though we wished the plastics would get a strengthening or something.
Short lived Quality
It was heaven!!For 2 mos., we had tasty fresh brewed coffee with frothed milk at our finger tips.We were spoiled.But now, 4 mos into the $200.00 plus coffeemaker, it is leaking all over the counter if we try to use the "auto" feature.And worse, the threads on the steam nozzle have eroded and the froth feature can only be used if we literally hold the apparatus together with our fingers!Otherwise the pressure blows the nozzlewith a burst of steam, down into the cup below.It is a complete disappointment.I have contacted Capresso and asked for a replacement nozzle.Instead they want me to send the entire coffee maker (leaving me with NOTHING).Very unsatisfactory and for the money, not worth it.I could have spent the $200 on a more reliable machine and frankly, won't buy this brand again.

Fantastic and Simple
The Melitta was a product that I looked for in stores for years.Of course I found it on Amazon.So simple, so fast, so great. I'd recommend this over any fancy electric coffee maker.

Our old Melitta broke one day; we use it to make tea each morning. We tried three stores in our area and could not find another one similiar to the one that broke. Amazon.com had the exact set. The Melitta coffee pots are good products at a very reasonable price, and of course, are quite versatile.

Simple coffeemaker
This device is about as simple as it gets to make coffee with the exception of the way my cousins make it in Brazil; there they hang a kind of cotton sock on a ring stand and pour hot water through. I liked it, but it had some drawbacks
I liked a number of things about this kettle:it was stainless; the opening in the top was big enough to make cleaning fairly easy; and it had a fun look.

I have purchased 2 of these pots in the last 16 months.The last one in Feb.They both worked great for 6 months or so then the heating units seem to fail.Only got warm tan water this morning!Same thing my last one did after about 8 months! Great pot if you only need one for 6 months.Am on Amazon looking for something that will last a little longer!

Happy at First, but not after 14 months
I love the design and stainless steel (no plastic taste).Enjoyed the coffee for awhile, but after a year we've been experiencing periodic short brew times producing nearly clear coffee.Seems that frequent cleaning, especially where the tube meets the bottom of percolator improves coffee perk.Pouring some coffee back through the top produces more flavor. It's a great piece of hardware, but the increasingly inconsistent perk leads me to give it a low rating.For daily use I'll go back to press coffee and use the farberware for parties.

Finally, A Brewer Worthy of Praise
My wife and I have always been in search of the "perfect" coffee maker. We first started with the simple caraffe variety which involved manually pouring hot water over the grounds in a cone filter. My wife was fine with it, but it drove me insane to have to stand there and continually add water. We then moved to a Bunn. It was good at first and the "instant" brew feature (water sits in a preheated reservoir much like you see in a diner) was great. However, we moved to a town with hard water and the thing soon choked and died! Contrary to what I knew, I bought a second, more expensive Bunn. What a mistake. We are "real" coffee drinkers. This means that we grind and use a lot of coffee for each pot. The Bunn must have been designed by someone who thinks two scoops of Folgers will make 10 cups of "strong coffee". Result - the brew basket would contantly overflow all over the counter. Needless to say, I found myself - once again - waiting for water to filter through before adding more.
Makes The Best Coffee
I have owned at least six other coffee pots and was never satisfied with home made coffee, so Dunkin Donuts was where I would head to on my way to work.I got this coffee pot and I buy Dunkin Donuts coffee and grind it with the Proline Kitchenaid Grinder and it is the best coffee I have ever had.Recently I had a kitchen remodel and the electrician showed up with his cup of coffee in hand from Dunkin Donuts.I asked him later in the day if he wanted a cup of coffee and he was hesitant stating he did not like coffee from home coffee pots.Well, I assured him he would love it. After having my coffee, for the rest of the week he never showed up with his own coffee, actually said, he preferred my coffee.After the job was over, he saw my sister a few weeks later and he mentioned how he missed the coffee I made.This is the best ever, perfect coffee every time and the perfect temperature.

How did we ever live without this?
We have bought several coffee makers over the past few years seeking the elusive cup of coffee house quality coffee. At long last, it has arrived in the form of the Flavia Fusion! This is the easiest, quickest, most delicious cup of home brewed coffee or tea you will ever make. The unit does have a large footprint, but it definitely fits on the counter without taking up too much room if you have an average sized kitchen or larger.
The good life
This machine is wonderful! I first tried Flavia coffee a couple of years ago while waiting for my car to be serviced at the Mercedes dealership. Best coffee I'd had in a long time. It's so nice to walk into the kitchen, insert a packet and push a button for a cup of hot......whatever I feel like! This machine deserves a five rating in the ease of use and the flavor of the packets, whether they are teas, coffee or chocolate. I would recommend this to anyone.

Excellent machine
I love this machine. Each package is its own brewing system. That means that there is nothing to clean, nothing to clog, and nothing to carry one flavor over to the other. I love strong coffee and I found even the House Brand to be full flavored. Most surprising is how good the teas taste. You actualy get the full flavor of brewed tea. The herbal teas are excellent and full of fruit flavor. The only disappointment was the hot chocolate: It was basically just as good as Swiss Miss. The frothing packages do work, but I get just as good if not better from skim milk and a $2 gizmo from IKEA. They are nice to keep on hand. The Milky Way froth does give a nice caramel flavor. The big down side is you can only get refills from Flavia. They have recently started giving free shipping on orders over $100, so stock up and get the free shipping. My big beef is that there is no window for the water resevoir: I have accidentially run out of water more than once. The machine does 'spit' at the end of the cycle so keep the brewer close to the cup. ... Read more
