We keep ordering additional sets!
OK, until you get the hang of snapping these together they seem difficult, but once you do they are great. We have them in the playroom and the kids' bedroom. They aren't bookcases, but are perfect for toys and stuffed animals, and hold large plastic bins. They would also hold clothes just fine. The white ones look fairly sleek - I had chrome ones that are now relegated to the garage.

Not for children!!
These wire cubes are okay for adults, but not kids, as the picture seems to indicate. The wire squares are difficult to snap together, and the little plastic joints are easily broken. Nothing heavy should go in these, because, even though they are difficult to snap together, they come apart easily.

I ordered these items as I was moving and wanted to be able to minimize all my clothes and bedding. The seal on the bags are awful (theres a tighter seal on a ziploc bag) and once the air was sucked out they last about 15 minutes before they started to re-inflate with air.So if you can move house in 15 minutes then there worth buying!!!! ... VERY STURDY - Does Hold 36 pairs
OK, so maybe since I have a Master's in Engineering it worked better for me...My doors are thicker so I had to adjust the bracket for the door and screw the unit to the top of the door frame but I was able to get 36 pairs of a size 10 ladies shoe on the rack.I turned the shoes so that the top of the shoe faces outward not toward the door.My unit has not fallen apart and does not appear to be weak at all.I did use a hammer as the instructions say.

False Advertising
I just bought one of these shoe racks, and didn't have any problems putting it together.Use a hammer like it says to tap in the poles on a hard surface.However, you cannot put 36 pairs of shoes on it.I'm a size 12 so I knew that my shoes would take up too much space, but my wife wears a size 5.That is a very small shoe, and she can only put two pairs on each level.So when they say up to 36 pairs, what size shoe are they going by?A child's?

Double the room in my closet!!!
Great product, simple to assemble ( took me 5 minutes) I have placed my shirts on top and my pants and skirts or the bottom. My closet is much much more organized, looks better, easier to find what i want plus now that i have removed the pants and skirts from the top, I have nearly double the space in my closet and my clothes aren't crammed together like sardines. Sturdy and well-designed.
This product really has some excellent attention to detail. The storage area under the lift-up seat is perfect for gloves, scarves, etc. If you click on the photo to see the larger view, you can see how the seat itself has these little indentations which keep you from sliding off if your pants are wet (think of kids coming in after playing in the snow or rain). And the water will go into those little indentations (instead of rolling off onto the floor) and the water will either evaporate from there if you leave it or you can easily soak it up with a towel. The bottom area has these raised slats for the shoes and boots to sit on as well as a cutout in the back - allowing for them to properly air dry when wet. The material this is made out of is virtually indestructible and will easily withstand the elements even if you want to leave it outside on a porch or deck. The size is just right - not too big or too small. We loved it so much we ended up buying another so there'd be one by each of the most used entrances into the house.

Sturdy Little Product!!!
I am satisfied with the bench.It is sturdy and the storage compartment is roomy.The only improvement which I hope could be made is the addition of another "shelf" to fit three more pair of shoes.
