For me this is just perfect. I have a lot of earrings and small jewelry and the see through pockets make it so easy to locate what you are looking for.It is well made and also very handy to use.

Space saving jewelry holder!
I purchased this jewelry hanger to replace an often unused jewelry amoire.The holder is well-made and almost all of my jewelry fit nicely.It's great to readily be able to see many of my jewelry selections so easily.The only negative I would have is the hanger which while substantial did not have a swivel hook.This was easily solved by my replacing it with my own "heavy duty" hanger which did have a swivel head

This organizer is great. I use this to store my sweaters and love it. It is very sturdy. The canvas is high quality. I compared it to a similiar product at Target and the Whitney product is definitely better.

My clothes are saved
I am very pleased with this product. My dress shirts and pants are finally saved from touching the floor in my closet (huge pet peeve of mine). I also didn't realize how much more space I created in my closet, now I don't have to take up the extra closet space in the guest room.

Adjustable is great!
I've searched all over for a doubler that was less than 32" and this works great!I have short closet bars so most doublers caused my lower bar clothes to drag on the floor.This product lets me pick the length I need.It's metal materials makes it quite durable too.Hooray!

It's been a lifesaver!!
I have to share a closet with not only my husband, but my daughter as well.We live in a small two bedroom and only one bedroom has a closet.For years we've been having trouble with other closet doubler rods, they were always hard to keep in place and only had one length on it which was hard to decide whose clothes went on top and bottom because it always dragged someone's clothes.

Love these things!
I was using a small dark linen closet for my shoes. I still had them scattered across the shelves or floor and couldn't find them easily. I ordered three of these bags for my sandals and party heels (my heels go from 1.5 up to 3.5 - 4" and I've never had a problem fitting them in). And 2 of the Whitney Design 2131 18-Pair Revolving Shoe Tree, Chrome ($20) for my loafers, chunky pumps & mules, mary janes and sneakers, etc. I couldn't be happier! The space saving is amazing. Everything is visible and easily found. WELL worth the investment. The only "problem" is now that I can easily plan my outfits and accessories I sometimes realize I DON'T need to shop for a beautiful new pair of shoes - I have the perfect pair right 'there'in my closet. (And only a few pairs of boots are still on the floor).

Great organizer, but mine broke from excess weight
This is a great little shoe organizer that helped eliminate the shoe clutter from my closet floor. Takes up little room, easy to put shoes in, keeps shoes visible from front. However, mine did break at the top, probably from too much weight. But, I liked it so much I'm back for a replacement. My only caution would be not to overload the shelves. Otherwise a great product!

Keeps the shoes off the floor!
I bought 2 of these shoe bags to get all of my shoes up off my closet floor. Most of my shoes fit into the pockets in pairs... a few of them needed separate pockets for each shoe as they were chunkier in style and had bigger soles. I even have a few slots left over for new shoes! Even with 2 of them in my closet, they don't take up too terribly much room. Easy to get shoes in and out of. Makes my closet look so much better. HIGH QUALITY product!
As soon as I received this item, I instantly ordered another.It is very durable/sturdy, made out of a thick canvas unlike the cheaper nylon products found in stores.It easily collapses when not in use, so it takes up NO space.I used one in my bathroom to hold towels and other items and one in my closet to hold pants, belts, socks, slippers, etc.Everything fits perfect, and it opened up a lot of space in my closet.It's the best way to organize everything you keep in your closet that doesn't fit well on your ordinary hanger.I highly recommend this product!

Great for smaller ladies shoes
I had ordered this along with the mens shoe hanger. I keep all my smaller shoes in this. All in all the product is great for the price u pay. But for bigger/mens shoes u need a men's hanger. I checked out the price too for similar products and this has a good price too.

Finally, I have enough space in my closet!
Excellent closet kit.We ordered two 4-8' deluxe custom kits.My husband and I each have an 8' closet.Kits were very easy to install.By the time we got to the second closet we were pretty fast.Took about 1 hour to install the second closet system.The closet design is great in that there is no cutting with the exception of the last rail cover.Love that the hangers slide easily, our previous closet "system" only allowed a couple of inches either way.The flexibility of the closet is amazing.We also ordered for my husband the shoe shelves, tie and belt organizer, and two sliding pants racks.For me I ordered three sets of shoe rods, two pants racks, and one sliding basket.We also ordered 3 upright extension rods for each closet due to the number of accessories we ordered.I had so much fun playing around with the expandable hanging rods, the shelves, and all the accessories.I now have my closet organized and I cannot believe how much room I have for everything.I even have "room to grow".I highly recommend this closet system. ... YOU'LL FIGURE IT OUT AFTER YOU INSTALL IT
We've put up a few closet systems before, including custom wood rack systems (which are so beautiful when they are done)...and after reading all the rave reviews, I was really excited for the simplicity of installing this system, and I was disappointed.Our kids have a 5 foot closet, which should have been real basic... We followed the instructions, TO THE LETTER, and it didn't work out like we expected...2 main problems...YOU NEED TO INSTALL THE VERTICAL RAILS at EXACTLY one-inch increments, despite how the instructions lead you.Following the instructions from step one, the rails were just 1/4 inch off, and the shelves didn't fit on the rails.The stress of trying to fit the shelves on the rails stressed the screws, and now the anchors are pulling out.
great closet system
We like the flexibility that we have in designing our closets with the Rubbermaid Configurations system. They were easy to install and we think they look much better than the similiar closet systems. We also have 2 of the 4'-8' closet kits, but needed <4' for one closet. We paid a lot less for the 4'-8' systems, but didn't want to have to cut everything down so we ordered the 3'-6' system (that we could only find at Amazon).

This closet kit was simple to use and sturdy. It took my husband one hour to complete the first closet system and 30-45 minutes for the second. It has made a HUGE difference in my children's closet and we can't wait to finish the rest of the closets in our house. Tough little boxes!
I have two of these boxes, both purchased from K-Mart several years apart, each one was 20 bucks.The first one I picked up in Tallahassee in 1993 to throw in the back of my pickup for extra storage.It is now 2006, some 13 years later, and that first box is still in great condition even after traveling thousands of miles all over the southeast in the back of four different pickups over the years.The only thing noticeable about the physical appearance of both boxes is the sun will quickly fade the red handles to a whitish-pink.

Love this ribbon organizer!
I bought this as a ribbon organizer for my craft room. Yes, it is too wide for a standard door. But I did not care, as I wanted as much storage as I could get for ribbons in one organizer. I have all my ribbon on it and there is plenty of room to grow. I can see all of my available ribbon at a glance. If you want to hang it on a door, it would be simple enough to cut down. Just cut the dowels down. (Even I could do it.) I orginally planned to hang it on the wall. But I found it to be so stable that it is easily folded and tucked away. It fits perfectly in the front of my craft closet. When I need ribbon, I can either pull it out from right there or easily pull out the whole organizer. As a crafter and scrapbooker, I have found this to be a wonderful organizer.

Would get a five, except for......
It is too wide to fit on the back of a standard bedroom door!

Mine is a little bowed but my mom's is fine so I'm assuming maybe mine was just a fluke or got damaged in the mail, etc. In either case, the little flaw was not enough to make me rate it anything less than 5 stars. We keep ordering additional sets!
OK, until you get the hang of snapping these together they seem difficult, but once you do they are great. We have them in the playroom and the kids' bedroom. They aren't bookcases, but are perfect for toys and stuffed animals, and hold large plastic bins. They would also hold clothes just fine. The white ones look fairly sleek - I had chrome ones that are now relegated to the garage.

Not for children!!
These wire cubes are okay for adults, but not kids, as the picture seems to indicate. The wire squares are difficult to snap together, and the little plastic joints are easily broken. Nothing heavy should go in these, because, even though they are difficult to snap together, they come apart easily.
