Japanese Products are Great !
This is my second bread maker. I bought Cuisinart's one last year and had used it for about a year. I had no idea how different each bread maker was at that point.
easy as pie
I have made now a dozen loafs of bread with this machine.Every one comes out the same: delicious and perfectly brown.The recipes are good, I use the simple white bread recipe as my standard one.Works well.

THE BEST BREADMAKER BY FAR!
This is the third breadmaker I have owned. I have to say I did not have very good luck with the other brands I have owned in the past but after reading the reviews on Amazon, decided on the Panasonic as a replacement. I could not be more pleased with my purchase!I have used it 3x a week for a month now.The bread has turned out perfect every time!I use 1/2 wheat flour with the white.It is like eating cake!It really is that good!One thing I love about this bread maker is that it is so quiet.Also, from other reviews, I thought I was going to have to get a scale and measure all the ingredients but I just use my regular measuring cups and spoons and every loaf has been perfect. I even used Smart Balance margarine today instead of butter and you could not tell the difference!The bread is soft and delicious! The bread comes out of the pan so easily and even the little paddle does not stick into the bread like my last breadmakers.The loaf looks so perfect - you'd think I spent hours making it on my own.I highly recommend this breadmaker over the more expensive ones. Excellent bread machine
I own the zojirushi bread machine for about a year. I bake 1-2 per week. The machine makes excellent bread & dough. I haven't bought a loaf of bread since I bought this machine. When I want a more crusty bread, make pizza, or make a foccacia I use the dough cycle with amazing results. Highly reccomend this product.
use it every day
I bought my bread machine a few weeks ago and I use it every day. The white and rye bread recipes turn out perfectly every time.I've also made an apple cake and two meatloafs.I tried one wheat bread loaf ... it was very tasty, but not quite the consistency that I like ... so I need to play around with that one alittle bit. I've never been a cook and definitely have never baked a loaf of bread before ... but now that my kids are grown up, I now have some time to work in the kitchen.I highly recommend this machine.

Teflon Bonding Failure
Within a few weeks of purchase the teflon in the Zojirushi pan started to blister and flake off. This is NOT the result of customer abuse but a manufacturing defect.

Terrific Bread!
Less than an hour after the UPS truck left my new breadmaker on the doorstep, I was taking a gorgeous little loaf out of the machine.
A Must Have
I purchased this breadmaker about three years ago.I was impressed by the 45 minutes from start to a finished loaf of bread.This is an EXCELLENT little machine that makes a loaf of bread "Just For Dinner."I use mine all the time and keep telling my friends they need one too.If you decide to make two loaves -- you need to wait about 15-20 minutes for the breadmaker to cool down between, but I've done that when I was having company for dinner.It was nice to set one loaf of fresh baked bread at each end of the table. Everyone who has seen it has been impressed.What's great too is many times in the evening I will make a loaf for lunches the next morning.It's so quick. I have noticed that my loaf always rises nice and big if I warm my liquid to at least room temperature (or a little more) first.I have experimented, and the only times my loaf has been a little smaller was when I left my liquid at refrigerator temperature and made my bread. Fresh bread is always the best bread and with this breadmaker I rarely ever have any left over...but it's only 45 minutes to another fresh loaf.

I moved to Panasonic

disappointed twice
I bought this machine because the idea of being able to remove the paddle before the bread bakes sounded great.All you do is take the bread out of the pan and manually remove the paddle then put it back in to rise & bake. This could be done with any bread machine.The only difference is this one had an audible tone to alert you when it was time.Except the 1st machine I bought did not have any audible tones at all.None.I sent it back.That was ok because I had a new one in 2 days from Amazon.(they have awesome customer service.)
Good bread if you pay attention to what's happening
I've had this machine for about a year now.The learning curve has been gradual but steady. I think that the negative reviews here stem from people having unrealistic expectations. This is not the sort of machine where you put in the ingredients, walk away and come back for a perfect loaf every time. As this is the only breadmaker I have owned, I cannot say if there are other machines that perform ideally. I do know that the user needs to PAY ATTENTION to what is happening with the Cuisinart breadmaker.

There is nothing like the smell of fresh bread to wake up to in the morning.
I really enjoy this machine as it seems to work well with all of the different recipes I have tried so-far. I really enjoy the fact that it has so many programing options for different varities of bread and dough. It is also a very attractive appliance that will complement any kitchen. My only complaint is that sometimes there will be a small amount of dough that doesn't mix well in the corners of the baking tub.

REALLY Great Machine
I have to agree with all the other reviews - this is really an amazing bread machine. Not one loaf has turned out badly (I've made 3 so far - whole grain, whole wheat cinnamon raisin walnut, and honey granola) and I've never seen a bread machine beat the dough into submission like this one! It also incorporates nuts & raisins flawlessy - you add them at the first series of beeps, and even though the machine is in the first knead cycle and flings the stuff all over, it stops, rotates, and picks up and incorporates every last bit. The recipes that come with the bread machine are excellent - I have also made wonderful pizza dough and poundcake, all recipes that came with it. I would also recommend the Breadman's Healthy Bread book if you are looking to make healthful, completely whole grain breads, which this machine handles wonderfully. Do not hesitate to buy this one!

my favorite appliance
I have had my machine for several weeks and it rocks! There was a wee learning curve (my fault, not the machine's) but it is now turning out loaf after loaf of delicious fluffy bread. I've had absolutely no mechanical problems at all so far. As long as I follow the recipe instructions (who knew it was so important to use all room-temp ingredients so the bread would rise properly?!)I get a perfect loaf every time. My family of bread-loving men couldn't be happier and I really believe it is saving me money to make my own bread, plus it is so much more convenient than making the trek to the closest grocery store, which, given where I live (Middle of Nowhere), isn't very close.

A Terrific Machine for Its Price
I have had my Corner Bakery for 4 months now. On the average, I use it about once a week. So far, I have used it only for bread and dough, and have used the regular, sweet, Instabread and dough cycles. I have found it to be very reliable with both the recipes provided and recipes from other sources. I also like it because it will make loaves as small as 1 pound and up to at least 2 pounds.
Fresh curned butter on some homemade bread anyone?
We have owned the Breadman Corner Bakery for about eight months now.It has made our house smell wonderful.I have to say I don't use the recipes that came with it, so I won't judge those.For the price this is a beautiful machine.The pan has a solid heft to it, not like some of the other bread makers with seemingly flimsy aluminum pans.We have made many types of bread in it and have even churned butter from heavy cream.The best kind of bread is the one made in the pan right after making butter.With a toddler and a baby, it is nice not to have to run to the store everyday to buy fresh bread or rolls.The only time our bread has turned out not so good is when an ingredient has been forgotten.Without the yeast it wasn't quiet the same but our house smelled great. ... I enjoy this item, works well, and affordable, get the job done
I asked for this item about 2 years ago for christmas, and I have been happy with it since.Not an expensive model, this Item has worked really well for me. I bake on average 2 loves per month, so I am not a heavy user of the machine. But, As a guy in the kitchen, this thing is simple.Works really well with the boxed mixes, just follow the directions on the box. I have started in the past few months making my own bread from scratch using the recipies supplied in the owner's manual, as well as from the small bonus book of recipies.This thing is simple.This machine is great for a casual user like me, and a good value as compared to some of the other models available. It also simple to use. If you have a family to bake for, maybe a more expensive model would be better, but I am hard pressed to think that this machine could not handle that as well.5 stars in my book, my model is the TR555LC, which is what is pictured on this listing.

this breadmaker is not doing what I want.It is so touchy, you have to be very very precise to be able to cook a reasonable bread loaf. I am not satisfied with the product and will try to return it.also it works very noisy during dough process.

This machine is going back
I have owned two bread machines in the past and both worked excellent.The first one was a small inexpensive machine so I bought an Oster 3 or 4 years ago.It worked great but I finally destroyed 2 paddles and eventually the pan.I just bought an Oster 5838 and for the past week and many attempts, I am taking it back to Kohls.My old recipes don't work, the ones that came with the machine don't work. I have tried new and different brands of bread machine flour and yeast and no luck. I tried adjusting my recipes their recipes and the only ones eating fresh homemade bread are the birds and the squirles in my backyard.

Oster Breadmaker 5838
I bought one of these a few years ago, and was happy with it.I make three or more loaves of bread a week and sometimes make dough for pizza or rolls.The previous one finally was struggling and it was time to replace it.I looked at many models, some with a lot of bells and whistles and a price to match.I found I had no need of preprogrammed features, particularly for mixes as I always do 'from scratch'.I decided I might as well stick with the tried and true. It works great.

Quick, Easy, Delicious
My wife and I put this on our wedding registry and we are so grateful that we go it.We used it like crazy immediately after we got it.Two flour tortillas, some grated cheese, & a little salsa + a side of sour cream make for a great meal.It takes less than 10 minutes to put it together and cook it.
Quesadilla's on the fly!
We love quesadillas and, while the traditional method was not incredibly challenging, this makes snacking a breeze. It's important to follow the simple directions that come with the unit and not overfill the tortillas, but once you get the hang of that, turning out the quesadillas is a no-brainer. Can't wait to try this at parties! Also comes with egg recipes which we have not tried yet...looking forward to it, though.

I love this machine, great price, easy, even or a guy in the kitchen

DISCONTINUED PRODUCT - NO PRODUCT REPAIRFROM SALTON
I bought my Breadman T4000 about 3 months ago. Everything seemed great until during the kneading cycles the machine would squeak very loudly (early on it only squeaked during one way of the knead, later it squeaked during both directions of the knead. I contacted Salton for repair. Customer service stated that they don't repair or carry this unit anymore. Would advise on buying another unit. It was nice while it lasted.

Just received my Breadman TR4000 and quite honestly, I am very disappointed.
Works Better Then Any Other Bread Machine
I am so inpressed with the T4000 bread machine and all that it can do. I used to have a bread machine made by procter and with it the dough would be too heavy for the motor. Love this machine!
Got this breadmaker for christmas. I've never used one before this, I was trying to teach myself to make bread by hand with only occasional success. This machine takes all the guess work out of the process. I have made bread at least 2x per week since we got it and have had no problems what-so-ever. Bread comes out perfect every time.
Excellent bread machine
I hadn't had a bread machine in many years and remember the quirky nature of my old machine. Bread machines have come a long way, and this Breadman is an excellent choice. I have seen a couple reviews in which it was stated that the machine didn't mix the dough well enough. I found that some of the recipes that came with the machine didn't seem to me to contain enough liquid. That may be the problem. But the instructions for this machine, as with all machines, state that you do need to check your dough at the beep and make sure it is the right texture and that it is well mixed. Flours can vary a lot throughout the seasons.
