I've got two of these pans. Wonderful product, but needs improvement!
Silicone baking pans are extremely cool.Light and flexible, they store easily and don't deform even if you accidentally leave something heavy on them, and you can just peel them off your finished baked good.Since they cool down quickly, you can lift them without potholders after ~5 minutes out of the oven.Plus, I get that thrilling "the future is now" feeling whenever I use them, and sometimes I bake solely in order to be able to use the pan because it's just so cool.
Weird, But Good
I just made some banana bread in the silicone rubber loaf pan.It was a really weird experience.The loaf pan is a soft rubber and doesn't feel structural enough to bake anything.There are two main advantages.1) Nothing sticks to silicone rubber.2) The silicone rubber loaf pan is so flexible I could probably turn it inside out, and that makes it easy to remove baked items.
I am very happy with my silicone bakeware
I have this and mini-pans and muffin pans - all silicone. They are great. The biggest problem is that the bread tends to expand the sides of the soft pan so the sides are a bit wider. I never oil the pans and the bread pops out easily. The muffins too ususally since the recipe often has oil in it.

Good pan for breads
I bake a lot and love this pan for baking loaves that require 8x4 pan. It produces nice crusty breads. However, because of the pan's folded metal construction, not unlike the Commercial Calphalon pans, crusts get stuck in the corners and are hard to clean. It is otherwise a most excellent bread loaf pan.

GREAT WITHOUT THE BASE
Used mine for banana nut bread and it was great, but I didn't use the base - just sat the pan on a cookie sheet. I didn't notice any odor at all at 350 degrees.I did use Pam onit and the loaves came out very easily and looked great.I would recommend it highly.

My wife Marisa uses to make bread at home: very good !! With this 6-in-1 she makes different stile breads.
Chemical Odor
I can't get past the chemical odor this pan gives off when baking. I was baking only at 350 degrees and the chemical smell overwhelmed the fresh baking cake aroma. The best part of baking is gone.....the results were good but the smell....can this be dangerous like teflon fumes??? ... Read more

Much smaller than I expected
The pans are high quality as is all Chicago Metallic Bakeware.My only disappointment (and this was enough for me to knock off two stars) was the very tiny size of the pans.I have used mini pans for a few years to make Christmas breads for my neighbors and friends.These are so much smaller (at least 50% smaller than the disposable mini bread pans I have been using)than what I am used to that they won't make bread of a size that I can give as a gift.The pans seem little bigger than a large muffin!I will keep and find a use for the pans but I must renew my search for mini bread pans for gift giving.

Try Wilton brand
I've had these pans with the folded edges and I don't like how food gets in the crevices.I've also had the non-stick pans, and I think they over cook quick breads and cakes.I finally found Wilton aluminum pans @candyland.com.They were just what I was looking for.

Excellent product for whole grain bread and muffins
If you like to bake this is a nice product to have in your arsenal of tools.I bake whole grain muffins and breads every week and find this pan to be extremely useful.
Very good product
This product works very well.The bread cooked evenly and didn't dry out.The only drawback is that you have to use a baking sheet to support the silicone pan.

Not what I expected
Unfortunately, this 6 loaf pan did not bake the way I thought it would. I expected it to release the bread from the pans easily as the directions state. I let the bread cool completely as it said in the directions. Then I flipped the whole silicone tray over and pushed on the individual compartments from the bottom, following directions specifically. The bread fell out in chunks, leaving globs of cooked bread in the compartments. I would not recommend this loaf pan, but instead I will buy a cast iron or metal 4 or 6 loaf pan.
