Good Smoothies, Poor Quality
I'm the kind of person that likes to spend a little more, and get stuff that lasts a long, long time. I was thinking that this was one of those purchases. I hear stories about how "Grandma had her Waring for 40 years and it stills runs like a champ!" I swallowed this hook, line, and sinker.

Fine little mixer
It arrived sooner than expected, and in good condition. It's a powerful little mixer. So far I've used it for smoothies and to grind coffee beans. It's great at both. I wish the video was a little more "westernized" - pine needle juice? Now just what is that? It would be nice if the containers had rings to screw on the tops so they could be used as serving glasses. Less expensive than the competition, which is nice.

Don't waste your money!
Wouldn't work when I first got it; finally did, sporadically.Sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't.Partially frozen fruit bound it up and had to wait 20 minutes before it would run again.The warranty doesn't offer a refund, just repairs or replacement.No thank you, mine went in the garbage!

What a piece of junk
First of all when we recieved it, it wasn't even in another box to be shipped. Then when we opened it the video tape in it was all busted to pieces. There was no return label on it. Good replacement
Needed replacement of glass jar for old, slightly warped clover-top Oster blender. This replacement works great, fits very snugly at the top, and screws tight at the bottom. Product was new, clean, and packaged well. The only minor gripe I have is that the base doesn't quite fit perfectly so it's a bit tight and minimally tilted. Sturdy, lifetime blender
This blender is fabulous.Although pretty expensive, I wouldn't recommend anything else.My favorite feature of this blender is the blades.They are super heavy and thick, and they are not sharp as with other cheaper blenders.Secondly, there is no mistaking when the blender jar is placed correctly on the base because of the construction of the base of the jar.Lastly, the blender starts every cycle with a "stir" setting as to not throw food up into the lid.I would definetely recommend this blender as well as any other Kitchenaid product.It's worth the extra cash to own the best. ... not durable
I've had this blender for about a year. The attachment comes off while you are blending, and it has cracked in several places so that you can't get it clean (normal use, nothing too strenuous). I got online to order another one, and thought I'd say why.
