Misleading Advertising
I bought this product because the box says "no more ice chunks." There is even an "icebreaker" setting.I wanted a way to make slushies.However, the manual says you are to use the "icy drink" setting when crushing ice.I am not sure if or when a person is supposed to use the "icebreaker" setting!
Good Blender..
This is the Best Blender I have ever used. It grinds Indian style batter real good. It grabs and churns the mixture quickly. I am using it for the past 5 months, and there has been no problems with it. The jar is plastic and easy to handle and clean.

Great Company!
We bought this blender over a year ago and used it without complaint several times a week. Never smelled "burned rubber."Then all of a sudden it stopped working.Cuisinart told us to return it along with a check for $10.In less than a week a brand new blender arrived on our doorstep!

Too much trouble
Looks great in my kitchen but I, too, only use it for shakes & smoothies.It DOES smell like burning rubber nearly every time.I used to think something was wrong with it and now I just disregard it.And after less than two years or making smoothies, I'm replacing the blade & gasket assembly.

Cuisinart CBT-500
It is heavy and it is big, so dedicated counter space is best.My biggest complaint however is it is LOUD!I don't use it as often as I thought I would because it is so LOUD, much more so than the processor while working larger, firmer food.I haven't noticed any burning smell yet, but I'm not the primary user either.I love Cuisinart, and have their products throughout my kitchen...but the noise on this one makes me shy away from using it much. ... Fabulous if used properly
This is an indispensable tool in my kitchen.I use it for pureeing sauces, soups and correcting gravy mishaps.It works great if you do not place it vertically at the bottom of your bowl or pan.It works best if you place it on the bottom of bowl/pan and tilt the blender a bit.In this way it is stable and it's able to pull ingredients into blades more quickly for a smoother finish.I use the chopper for everything except hard cheese (learned the hard way). Must have kitchen gadget!

Love it
I love this. It's great because it has the little chopper attachment, which acts like a mini food processor. And I can also use it to blend soups and make tomato sauce without having to lug out the big blender or food processor. When I bought it, I didn't realize the one I was buying didn't come with the whisk attachment. (But you're supposed to be able to buy this seperately too. Although I haven't found it yet) It would have been nice to have, but not a necessity. It chops, blends and cleans up very quickly too. A must have.

Good, not great
This boat motor does the job, but takes forever to get it done. Its limited power of 200 watts is a severe hindrance. Merely pureeing carrots in chix stock (quart total volume) left quite a few chunks after nearly 30 seconds of blending. It is however, easy to clean and quieter than your average blender or food processor. Do yourself a favor and get the Braun 430, with 50% more power and only a minor price difference. ... Read more

Where the X#@%&^* is the gasket?
Look, the product plainly reads "Oster Blender Blade with Gasket" and the package that was delivered is titled "Processing Unit with Sealing Ring".The blade was in the package but there was no sealing ring/gasket to be found.I'm sure there is the possibility that I got the one defective package off the line but what kind of quality assurance is that?!I'm not telling anyone to buy or not buy this product but just be aware that you may have a problem.I now need to buy a whole separate gasket which maybe costs all of $1.50 and will pay shipping of probably $3. ... Works fine for me...
I had a Bonjour brand frother that I replaced with this one because it looks better on my kitchen counter.This one works just as well as the Bonjour and froths my milk just fine for a latte at home.

Pretty, but wimpy
I purchased a different frother for my MOM for x-mas from amazon.It worked great and I decided I have to by one for myself.I saw this one it looked so sleek and stylish compared to the one I bought my mom. I that thought they are all basically the same. I went for style over funtion.

I bought this at the same time I purchased a new Waring professional blender, so I can accurately compare the replacement to the original and I find them identical. the reviews are accurate
i was pleased with this blender. it is compact and aesthically pleasing, i keep one in my cubicle at work.it is at least as powerful as a full size blender, if not more powerful.i found that there were plenty of extra lids and containers.it chopped ice easily and is easy to clean. i think it is worth the money.

Great Product!!
I got this blender as a gift and I use it every day, sometimes twice a day! It never chokes up on me and blends to perfection. I use it mainly for smoothies. It takes frozen fruit and ice with no problems! It has quick cleanup and because I also got the carrying case, I can take it to and from work (or anyplace else I may want to take it). I highly recommend this product for anyone on the go. You won't regret it!

My Tribest
I considered buying the Magic Bullett for my personal blender but your customers had rated the Tribest as Superior, so I bought the Convenience pack.We took it to Florida and began our new diet regiman with the Tribest as the center of our attempts to lose those 10 or 15 pounds of Holiday weight.We have a wonderful fruit smoothie for lunch every day and reduce our portions a bit for other meals.In two weeks I have lost 6 pounds and don't have any odd cravings.We do include a protein powder in our smoothies.Today we had 1/2 of a banana, three frozen strawberries, a ring of fresh pineapple, four teaspoons of lowfat vanilla yogurt a splash or two of fruit juice and two mini carrots, chopped.The Tribest had it ready inside of 60 seconds.Excellent, powerful motor!The only time it binds up on me is when I have it too full.Great purchase and my physician daughter went home vowing to buy one for herself and her infant children. ... Blender for a month.
I absolutely loved this blender, but it abruptly stopped working one day after I'd only had it for 6 weeks!No sign of life in it whatsoeveer.But when it worked, it was the best.I'm trying to return it as we speak.We'll see what happens.

Nice Blender.
Our old blender had recently burned out, and we were planning frozen margaritas on the dock, for a family reunion vacation at the lake.I needed a blender, and my wife thought I was out of my mind when I suggested we purchase the Waring HPB300 MegaMix.After all, for what this thing cost, I could have purchased all 5 of those other blenders offered by KMart.When my new blender arrived, I was surprised by the weight.This is a solid piece of machinery.I loaded it up, let it rip, and within seconds my frozen drink was done to perfection.No lumps, no crystals, just smooth slushy perfection.This thing blows away any blender I've ever used.Not once did I have to stick a spoon down into the mix to start things spinning.After vacation, my wife admitted that purchasing the MegaMix had been an excellent choice.What else can I say, I love it when I'm right!

This blender is worth the money.I make lots of smoothies for breakfast or lunch and it does the job in 30 seconds flat.I've gone through 2 regular blenders in too short a time, but this can handle making protein shakes without incident.

I bought this frother to use for making Chai Tea since I was sick of going to Starbucks for my fix.The instructions are very clear & easy to follow, the operation of the unit extremely easy.You basically pour in the milk & let it rip.I tested it using Swiss Miss cocoa mix & it worked like a charm - it really jazzed up an otherwise mundane cup of cocoa.The thick foam lasted for about 45 minutes & the unit produced more than enough.Even though it's not a "name brand", I highly recommend this one! ...
